We dined there on sat nite, the service was fast and friendly, the staff know their products, the burgers are real burgers, fresh, flavoursome, brilliant, the chips also were fresh and tasy and the bacon jam? OMG, first time we have had it and my partner bought two more serves to take home. Love this place. Its our new place to eat when in Melbourne.

Had the pleasure of eating there tonight for a family opening. Can honestly say that it's one of the best burgers I have had in a long time, there was no excessive oil dripping off the burger making a mess, ingredients were fresh and the beer cold. Looking forward to returning again to make my way down the menu.
I have been to this place many times and I have not been disappointed even once. On It Burgers is in Abbotsford and is one of my favorite places to go for a Burger. Their menu is really simple. The quality of the burgers is extremely good. On It Burgers is situated in Abbotsford and it is really easy to get to this place from Melbourne City. It is a huge restaurant with really nice interiors and a lot of seating area. The menu is displayed on the wall as you enter the restaurant.
Finally found our way to On It Burgers. Had avoided it in the past in the belief it was part of the grotty pub next door – the dining room extension. Delighted, having read Zomato reviews, that this was not the case.
And delighted to have made it. Fit out is half way between fast food and diner – banquettes, clean formica table tops etc but there’s also comfy chairs and low tables at the back (alcohol is served so you can make more of your burger than just a quick bite).
Burgers themselves full of fresh flavour although somewhat sparing on the fillings – not great vfm; the On It burger definitely better than the Bacon Jammy. Probably need to order the extra burger or more than just the chips as a side.
Let me preface this by saying I’m a long-time hangover delivery food advocate. Anything delivered, I’ve tried. Not once in my life have I eaten such delicious food delivered on my door step, most burger joints slap together a meal and rush it out in a ‘numbers game’ type operation. Not this burger. Gordon Ramsay himself would dribble at the nozzle over this bad boy. Impeccable

Have had this on uber eats multiple times but was definitely worth going into the actual restaurant! Cute atmosphere & great food.
The vege burger was delicious, fries were just the right amount of crunchy and the milkshake we had was also delicious.
A good burger joint. I enjoyed the jalapeno burger which was juicy and tasty. I also like the onion rings. The batter was pretty light and plenty of crunch. The place looks pretty cool and would be a nice place to hang out during summer.
Would give the place a 5 just based on the interior design - it was super detailed and gave off really good ambience. It was cozy comparable to a bar atmosphere. Friendly service and we got our burger pretty fast. I ordered the fun g and the components were all great individually but something tasted a little off when eaten together. I think the burger would be better off without the pesto. My friend ordered the smash hit and enjoyed it tho. The onion rings were great. They were perfectly crispy. Hope they get more customers - I walk past a lot and it’s always pretty empty.

Came here last week and found the food to be pretty good. The burgers aren't huge, so I could at least take a bite without the contents falling out and could get my mought around it. Certainly enough to fill you up. Liked the choice of sauces. Wasn't too rapt in the chips - felt a little overcooked but they were okay.
The seating inside is good and didn't feel cramped. Love the roof artwork. Well designed and good layout for diners.
I grabbed a takeaway menu and will use again.
Kids welcome and catered for. Dietaries catered for - just let the staff know and they are happy to help out. Oh and a shout out to the staff. Lovely people.
Wheelchair and disability friendly. Parking - well it’s Victoria Street - do your best as it can be challenging. Although good public transport with train and tram right on the doorstep.

Big burgers, good sides and sauces. We have been there to have lunch on Saturday and it was not very busy. Loved the fries with bacon and cheese.
Place hiding to be discovered. We were here due to our major burger cravings and this place did good. We had a mushroom burger and a jalapeno beef burger. Also got a spiked gingerbread shake with chocolate liquer. Spiked shake was awesome. First time for us.. woohoo! Burgers were yum and satisfying. We need to come with more friends to try out more stuff.

Hot, fresh, juicy burgers at a decent price. The beef burger I had was very tasty without trying too hard (ie no weird herbs or over-the-top relishes). The chips were great too. I was very hungry when I went in and left feeling satisfied for just under $20. Highly recommended.

This was our spot for a officemates lunch session. Located at a good locality is this pub-vibed spot famous for its burgers. We all had a burger each, going for their bacon jammy, spicy and smoky chick burgers.
The chick burgers were quite a site to the eye with the goodness of tender and juicy chicken and drips out with the first bite. The bacon jammy wasn't a thick, but a very juicy burger with chunks of bacon and American cheddar indulged in it.
This was quite a good meal, the cheese could improve alittle bit more and the hot sauce could be actually 'hot'. Yet, a very good vibe and a very good place to hang out with friends.

Loved the spicy chick burger! Perfect amount of everything! Had the basil garlic chips were yummy and the hero sauce which was tangy! The on it sauce is very smoky which just isn't my thing but those who liked smoky flavours liked it!
Totally enjoyed this burger experience from start to finish. Went just before 12 and was served right away and the meals came out pretty quick. Burgers looked great and tasted great. Meat was well cooked and very tasty. Good cheese melt as well. Chips and onion rings also very well cooked in clean oil - very crisp and not oily at all. Thickshake is oldschool and tasted like chocolate icecream - so yum. Recommend.
The interior is very spacious with the restaurant visually split into different seating environments. Choose the low down diner tables, or the high bar tables outside so you can street watch - this luxury of choice definitely puts On It Burgers on the map.

The fried chicken was moist, crunchy and everything great.
Now imagine the sriracha slaw and mayo dripping from the appeasing charcoal buns, sliding down the slaw and coating your fingers.
The starring element? The crunch of the fresh lettuce.

After a long deliberation I ordered the double smash hit with the smoky house sauce instead of ketchup mustard and mayo. I found the smashed patties to compliment the smoky on it sauce exceptionally. And the gingerbread and bubblegum milkshakes were both very tasty.
Via Menulog, was pretty good after a couple of beers. Reasonably priced. Would have been better if I had picked it up myself a tad cold. Chips were nice and Spicey!
**3.5 stars** I come here from time to time. The burgers here have nice flavours and don’t taste too oily. The chickens are juicy and crispy while the grass fed beef are moist and tender. I also prefer the ‘garlic basil’ chips over the rest… and honestly, the small size is generous enough for two people (if you’ve both ordered a burger each, you’ll definitely be very full). The milkshakes are good too, but nothing too special. Overall, I find the service prompt and the staff friendly. The place is spacious with plenty of seats (I’ve never seen it packed, which is unfortunate…) The interior design is both modern and clean. Love the ceiling art (with drawings of famous Melbourne icons like the Skipping Girl and the W-class tram).
Onit is one of my go to burger places! Must’ve eaten here at least 20 tines. Never disappointed! Amazing spicy chicken burger. I hate onion rings, but they do the best onion rings ever! Amazing chips, and the home made sauces are nice as well.
Tried it again after maybe two years. I’ve changed my mind and would come again. The burgers are tasty. I prefer a bit more seasoning on my chips. The lunch deal is great . $14 for chips burger and a drink
Fun place. Burgers were excellent. Only thing that could have been better was that it was a bit weird to have a $1 extra charge for the hot sauce on the jalapeño burger. Seemed stingy. At the prices charged the few cents that the hot sauce would cost to supply should be included. Apart from that, good place.

Staff was extremely nice and friendly! We ordered a lot of food for two people and they provided us with take away boxes without hesitation. The burgers were amazing! My boyfriend thoroughly enjoyed his chicken burger! I ordered too heavily! I recommend the single cheeseburger because the portion is pretty big. The chilli cheese fries was a different rendition to what i’m used to but still very tasty. The onion rings and the on it sauce were full of flavour! If i were to go again, i’d order the on it burger because that sauce is amazing alone, can just imagine it would take the burger to another level.

I opted to get take away with a friend. The staff were very friendly and the food was ready quickly.
I ordered the Classic burger and added lettuce - the burger was nice and flavoursome and I personally think it tasted exactly like a McDonald's cheeseburger.
My friend got the On It burger, he to was happy with the burger.
We ordered a side of Garlic Basil fries which were delicious and the truffle mayo dip was also really nice.
On my second visit to On It, I got the Spicy Chick burger. It was nice, however the chicken wasn’t very crispy and I would of liked some more slaw. The black bun was soft and fluffy.
Overall my experience with On It Burgers was good and the food was good value for money, however I think there are more tasty burgers at other locations in Melbourne.

Bloody delicious! Got a burger on UberEATS, and I am very picky with my burgers, but this was unreal. The meat was juicy yet kind of crunchy on the outside. The onion rings were perfection in it too. Also had potato gems and they were spot on too. Highly recommend.
I've ordered burgers here a few times via Uber Eats when the team is working late in the office. The food is great and definitely fills you up! Highly recommend their shakes - well worth it.
This place is so underrated compared to the other burger joins in the city. My personal favourite would be the Spicy Chick. Not only is it so absolutely crispy when you bite it, the siracha gets an amazing kick of an after taste.

Spicy Chick and craft beer cannot go wrong. Go vibe very chill and no Q so in and out. Very casual I think i would be good for takeaway also for a long sunday eve.
I like their onion rings best. Needless to say, their sides are great and should not be missed. The burgers are great too, but their sides take the cake. Totally worth trying!

Ventured down to On It Burgers on a Sunday evening. Not particularly busy, and in a bit of a shady area being Victoria Street, but it was definitely worth it.
Had the single On It burger with chips (garlic and basil). All delicious. Salted caramel shake was great.
Would definitely be back.
Sketchy area, especially late night. But really cool place when you get in. Plenty of seats and a chilled vibe.
Food was served surprisingly quick. But it was quite when we got there, so not sure how they handle large crowds.
The burgers had really good taste, with the standout being the sauce. Meat wasn't overcooked and not too juicy. Cheese melted perfectly and bun didn't fall apart.
Onion rings were soft, but a bit bland on their own, but again, pretty damn good with the on it sauce.
Would go back for sure.
One of the best burger joint I have been. They serve craft beer in draft. Very tasty burgers and lovely staff. The ambience and music fits the place. Place has very interesting interiors and available parking on the side road. Love this place!

It is located in the heart of Abbotsford, Victoria street. The interior design was funky, cool and pretty relax environment. The music wasn't too loud which made even better to hang out with friends, the ambience was good. The restaurant has plenty of seats available, they also have few tables outside if you want to enjoy the sun.Important to mention that the customer service was great, I was greeted and smiled by friendly wait staff the moment I opened the door.

It was an awesome deal for a decent and excellent quality of burger.
The burger was really great, the beef patty was grilled well and very juicy with additional of melting cheese inside which made this one a champ. The pork was so crispy, I really enjoyed every bite of this.
Unfortunately, they put little bit too much mayo and the meats were little bit oily; other than that, it was just perfect.
The sea salt fries were fantastic, the seasoning used was just right; Everything served was really fresh.
I really smashed the "Smash Hit" burger! and will be definitely back to smash other burgers.

Quick snack stop today for a shake and rings.
The rings were delish, hot, home-made and fresh and the batter wasn't too thick either.
We had the pop-corn shake, they had so many flavours to choose from and the lady persuaded us to try something new! We were expecting a very artificial taste like the jelly belly ones but surprisingly tasted really nice! There was the nuttiness from the popcorn and butter but not too overwhelming, a nice alternative from the classic salted caramel.
The part that made my day was the service we received, the lady was so lovely and even let us try our shake incase we didn't like it because we bought it on her recommendation- I've never experienced anything like it and she really made my day!
The garlic and herb chips were sooo good. Would be improved with some dipping sauce. We had the jalapeño burger and the smash hit burger.

Decent burgers. The patty and bun were both excellent. I ordered the bacon jammy and the bacon jam tasted weird - not sure if it was just the batch I got because bacon jam just sounded so good in my head! The jam was too bitter for some reason.
We order burgers via Uber Eats from On It and they are FANTASTIC. Both the On It burger and Bacon Jammy burger are super tasty and all ingredients are fresh. The onion rings are great, as are the fries (with Hero sauce). Highly recommend this place for a casual meal or takeaway
Walking in to On it burger after a long day of shopping I was not sure what to expect. The venue was rather empty for 5:30pm on a Saturday and it had an almost fast food feel. I must say, after the first bite everything changed. I was impressed with the quality of the meat and how crispy it was, with a bit of pink in the middle it was perfect. We had the Double Bacon Jammy and the On It burger. Bacon Jammy was definitely the pick of the two. Overall very enjoyable burgers and a nice venue in the heart of Abbotsford.

One of my top choices. This is not a healthy burger but that's not why you get a burger. Really big patty in the middle and the bacon they use is nice and crispy. Love that you get yourself some onion rings.
To celebrate UberEATS first year in Melbourne, UberEATS threw the food party of the year with a rooftop food festival at St Jeromes featuring some of Melbourne's favourite restaurants. . We loved tasting what On It Burgers had to offer!. We enjoyed the On It was an almighty burger with a large grass fed beef patty, American cheese, pickles, red oinion, lettuce, tomato and smokey On It sauce all squeezed into a fresh, toasted brioche bun. Yum!
Ordered off Uber Eats and have not looked back. These are the best burgers by far - we tried the double beef burger and chicken.
The chips and onion rings are fresh and seasoned well, the smoked sauce is a must also!! Everything arrives hot despite one occasion when it was raining. Maybe re-ordered about 6 times now haha highly recommended!
Placed an order tonight on Uber Eats. The burgers are very nice. We shared two of them. A Bacon Jammy and a the Black Label Burger. We also had a serve of onion rings. The burgers are great. Well prepared and very flavoursome. We enjoyed them very much. My favourite was the Bacon Jammy. The onion rings were also wonderful and has a lovely light batter. The food came from several suburbs away and needed some short reheating which wasn't unexpected. It still tasted great. Delivery was efficiently done. All in all, a good experience which we'd be happy to repeat in the future.
Nice ambience with great service. Booked a table through the zomato app, and the confirmation came in within a couple of minutes. I had the jalapeño burger which was spicy and yummy. The chips were a tad dry. Parking was free on the weekend along Nicholson St (a 5-7 min walk) as compared to if you were to park just outside the or around the restaurant. Thumbs up for On It. :)
Wow - this place has great burgers and worth checking out. For two of us, we ordered a double patty Hero, a double patty Bacon Jammy, a side of onion rings, a side of basil and garlic salt fries and Hit me Hot Sauce. The total flavour of the double patties which we very juicy and cooked well - with the melty cheese was heaven. It isn't the easiest burger to eat, but well worth it. Perfect amount of lettuce, onion and sauces! Onion rings are awesome, easy to polish off and although I'm not huge flavour salt person (i love my chicken salt), fries were cooked fresh and perfectly crispy. Dare i say its on par or better than Brother burger burgers.
EDIT: After 8 months of staying away from this place, gave it another go. Beef burgers are actually pretty good - nice charred taste to the patties, onion rings were on point, buns were only ok, but sauces were excellent. Doing the right thing and upgrading my 2 stars to 3.5 stars.
Absolutely love this place. Great atmosphere, service is quick and friendly, and (most importantly) the burgers are absolutely delicious and very reasonably priced. There's also a great range of milkshakes with lots of interesting flavours.
Richmond has recently become more vibrant with the ever increasing amount of apartments being built near the Yarra river and especially so on the traditionally rundown Victoria Street. On It Burgers has two stores, one in Ferntree Gully and the other in Richmond/Abbotsford so their inner city location is conveniently accessible by train and tram.
Been hearing great things about this place so I decided to finally check it out.Proved to be a good idea because I wasn't dissapointed. Burgers were good--the spicy chicken burger was good---big and crispy. The hero burger's beef patty was good and the price for food is fair given the size of the burgers. The onion rings is a must try! Crispy with the right amount of seasoning which goes well with their sauce too. Their fries are average---nothing much to shout about-- your typical fries at a butger joint.
The ambiance of the place was very pleasant and the staff were also very nice. All in all I would recommend this place!

As Dale Zeinheiger Culpin expressed the bacon jam while tasty kinda killed the burger experience for me while chowing down on the double jammy burger. Obviously the jam has some sweetness but personally the jam was a bit much.
I do like the setup with the booths and tall tables, the ceiling art and exposed brick... it did replace the old vietnamese place I ❤ Pho which i guess is an ok thing as we have a glut of choices for Vietnamese joints so a burger joint is certainly welcome.
The Hero burger was defintely better. A bit too much sauce but preferred it over that sweetness of the double jammy burger. The basil and garlic fries were very good. Light and crispy. Awesome!
Overall, i may give it another go when in the area and if i dont feel like Pho. Price for what you get is around average but will stay away from the double jammy next time.

Came here with a friend based on a few recommendations and I wasn't overly impressed with it. Well it was good. But certainly not amazing. The bacon jam kind of killed the flavour of the rest of the burger for me though when I got the double bacon jammy. I wouldn't get that particular burger again.
I think I died and went to burger heaven!! The bacon jammy burger was to die for, the basil and garlic fries sooo good. Great music playing, nice atmosphere, super friendly staff. And really good price!! Cheap burgers and cheap cider on tap. Try the cookie chocolate shake. Yum yum yum definitely coming back to try some of the other burgers!!
By far, the best veggie burger i have ever had! The mushroom was crumbed and as i bit into it, delicious cheese oozed out. I also asked for jalapenos as an extra and it added a nice kick. The flavour was delicious, wasn't oily either. The chips were crispy and tasty. The staff were friendly and the place was clean. Will definitely come back.

There is a whole range of burgers here. The classic meat patty option is one I can wholeheartedly recommend. But a winner by far for me is the spicy chicken burger. Encased in a black burger bun, it delivers well every time. The bun does not get soggy, but there is the perfect ratio of a spicy sauce to fried chicken. All fillings remain separate and don't seep into each other making for a wet burger, as is the fate of most delivery burgers.
As much as I love the Asian food in this area sometimes you need a great burger and this place has nailed it. Always consistently great burgers, grass fed beef and free range chicken. A favourite so far is the Spicy chick. A huge free range crispy chicken patty on a charcoal black bun with spicy sauce. Yum.

On It Burgers add a taste of necessary postmodernism to the somewhat overcrowded food scene of Victoria Street, Abbotsford and Richmond. I decided to go an extra few tram stops to check out this offering at On It Burgers and I’m glad I did. It’s worthy of its position here and also deserves some attention for choosing to settle into this location against a lot of other burger and non-burger options, all being very affordable and most being tasty.
I had the black bun chicken slaw burger it was full of flavour. Hubby had the double beef patty which wasnt as yum as mine but still pretty darn good. We will return.
The best burgers I have had in a long time. Always consistent. I am so glad I found this place. They have a wide range of burgers to choose from. The burgers are pretty big and fresh. The quality is good and when you see it and taste it you know they have put a lot of work into making these burgers with passion. Great service too. I will definitely be back. Very happy with this place. Really cool fit out and very friendly welcome from the girl on the counter. Had the double bacon jammy which was sensational. Usually prefer a thicker patty but this was beautiful and cooked perfect. Bun was fresh as and the patty went well outside the bun which is quality. The sauces on the burger were amazing as was the cheese. Chips were delicious and fresh again with a nice creamy tomato mayo. Will be back
I got the fried chicken burger and the fries from Ubereats delivery, it was the fried chicken burger in the black bun, this was nice however the crust can get a bit sickening because of how thick it is, the oil was just abit overwhelming, chicken to crust ratio would have been around 50/50 give or take. Overall flavor was good. Fries were still nice and crunchy, just a little on the salty side.
The only problem with all these burger joints popping around Richmond is I keep trying new ones instead of going back to ones I like..... I'll be going back to On It Burgers!
Had the double bacon jammy which was spot on! Juicy and Tasty patty with good amount of cheese and bacon, good bun and not smothered in sauce! Not too greasy either, just the right amount. Quality chips as well with hero dip!

Back to the burgers, really full of flavor a bit too much sauce but on the bacon jam is out if the world. Theres vego burgers, we had a fun G (relax thats what it was called) a play on funhgi burger so nice. Onion rings were good too, my chios were hakf git half cold but very crisp and the beers are so cold awesome. Try the place it good.

This is by far one of the best venues we have been to… the setup is really stellar! It has both a casual and smart-casual feel as the interior is very modern and chic. We loved the artwork on the ceiling and thought the beer garden was a nice touch. Another positive was that it is easily accessible via public transport – only being a five minute walk away from North Richmond station.
The staff members there were very welcoming which made our experience even more enjoyable. We ordered the ‘On It’ burger and added a panko crusted cheese filled Portobello mushroom, a ‘Fun G’ burger with added free range crunchy chicken and we also got their banana and choc cookie shakes. They have a really wide range of shakes, so we are looking forward to trying more yummy flavours! Both the burgers we ordered were $11.90 which is very reasonable, and both add-ons were only $3.50 each. The large shakes were $6.90 – so their food is priced very reasonably and is great value.
We took a seat in one of the booths and our shakes arrived shortly after. They aren’t served in a fancy glass with multiple toppings but they are extremely tasty and creamy, which is the most important thing. Our burgers arrived shortly after. As they were brought out, we were actually hit by the amazing aroma – they smelt so good!
Overall, both of the burgers were scrumptious! The ‘On It’ burger was really tasty. The beef patty was cooked to perfection and the cheese was nicely melted. The red onion, lettuce and tomato gave nice extra flavour to the burger. We couldn’t get enough of the Smokey On It sauce, it was great. Adding the crumbed stuffed mushroom made the burger deliciously filling, and tied in all the flavours together.
The ‘Fun G’ with added chicken was another great choice. The chicken was juicy and seasoned very well. The basil pesto was intense, but tasted really fresh with the mayo and crispy onion rings. Everything tied in together well, and the cheese in the stuffed mushroom gave a lovely creaminess to the burger.
We were extremely impressed with our On It Burgers experience, and really look forward to going back to try more great food!

Finally get to visit this place!
1st impressions; amazing venue. Nice ambience and great decor. That burger mural is a real eye-candy, not to mention the seating capacity.
But I ain't here for the visuals, let's get to my order; a blackbeard, a smash hit, a spicy chick, large fries, onion rings, sauces, and a large green tea shake for around $50.
I ordered the spicy chick. It's spicy with plenty of crunch from the slaw and the batter in the chicken. The black buns were good. It was neutral in flavour, fluffy, and held the burger well. I was starving as I ordered so I forgot to add an extra bacon and cheese on my burg but nonetheless it was still great.
I didn't get to taste the smash hit but I did have some of the blackbeard, aka soft-shell crab burger. It had a nice batter, good crunch, and nice flavours. My only real complaints here is 1) that perhaps the burgers could've had a little bit more sauce, but hey if I'm hungry I don't say no to a nice burg. 2) the green tea shake was more vanilla ice cream than green tea. They could've dialled down the thickness of the shake too. The shake, although delicious, was a disappointment.
The burgs were executed well and I've yet to taste their cheeseburger. I'm really keen on coming back to this place, perhaps I'll be bumping up the rating too.

When I first walked into the restaurant, the mural of the Melbourne tram caught my attention. Well, the restaurant (or bar) has a cozy atmosphere with its modern interior design and lights.
The burgers we ordered were On It and Spicy Chick. The On It burger's patty tasted juice and tender, the timing of the grill was just on-point. Spicy Chick was more of a fusion-like burger as there was sriracha sauce (a spicy sauce that is usually used in Thai or Vietnamese food) in it.
With the fact that On It is not situated right in the CBD, I feel that a shout-out as such is needed - burger lovers should travel to North Richmond (or another branch at Ferntree Gully, which can be far for people who stay in the city) to satisfy their burger cravings!

On it burgers is a relatively new fixture on Victoria Street, we live around the corner and have now visited a few times. The burgers themselves are really good, fresh salad ingredients, flavorful and juicy beef patties and classic american cheese. We have tried the Spicy chick, Bacon Jammy, On it and Smash Hit burgers. All the burgers are really solid, the beef patties tend to be a bit on the small side, especially the smashed patty! There is a huge range of sauces available in your burger or as dips which makes it easy to chop and change your burgers if you feel like something different. The fries are solid, by the end of the basil & Garlic fries we were a bit overwhelmed by the flavour. The onion rings are awesome, and perfectly matched with the smoky On it sauce. The milkshakes are a classic, simple and really tasty. Up there with the best milkshakes I've ever had. I've tried the Salted Caramel, French Vanilla, Butterscotch, and Choc Cookie, my favourite so far was the butterscotch. The service itself is pretty good ALTHOUGH, we've eaten in 4 times and ordered from home twice. One of the times we ate in, and both times we ordered delivery, they have messed up the order. The time we ate in they sent the wrong burger so we sent it back. The first time they delivered they forgot to add onion rings to a burger, forgot our side of onion rings. They put this down to the uber driver picking up the wrong order, fair enough. the second time they forgot a whole bruger, forgot to add a chicken patty to my burger and forgot the milkshake and chips. They gladly refunded the whole order and remade it for us to go in and pick up (they offered to deliver, we happily picked it up). Overall they've completed about 50% of our orders accurately, but made up for it with the response. I'll still be going back in to eat their but cautious of ordering food to be delivered again based on my past orders. Still a solid joint and would recommend you stop by if you're in the area.
Awesome burgers, onion rings were delicious very light and yummy sauce too - staff were great and very friendly. Cleanest toilets in VIC street and the roof murals were cool - if you haven't been so yourself a favour - thanks guys 👍🍔
I discovered this place by chance via Uber Eats and have been quite addicted ever since! The burgers buns are soft, but just slightly dense, and are dusted with sesame. . For those with a curious streak, try a burger with a black bun. The Spicy Chick features crunchy fried chicken, sriracha mayo, coleslaw and lettuce.
Great massive venue!! Milkshakes are great with a range of flavours to choose from. The burger it self was nice. Will have to go back again to try the fried chicken and not get the bacon jam as it was a little over powering and too smoky. Seasoning on the chips are perfect.
Such awesome burgers...and I haven't even stepped foot in the restaurant.

Ordered online and delivered within 25 mins. The oinion rings and sauce were amazing! The burger itself was pretty standard. Enjoyed the overall experience, I wish the food was kept in better insulation so it wouldn't be too cold when it got here.
Their Spicy Chick Burger was Fantastic, crunchy chicken fillet, sriracha mayo, slaw, lettuce all between a Black bun (I added a slice of Bacon also).

Nice large venue with lots of comfortable chairs and tables for large groups and small parties. We tried the beef burger with chilli jam. We didn't wait long for our meal to arrive. Burger was delicious but we find the meat patties a little stingy (two thin). Garlic chips were yummy!
We love a good burger and we have wanted to get to On It Burgers for ages so when an Ikea trip is required on a dreary Sunday I totally combined it with a bit of burger research! Amongst the bustling of Victoria Street with is many Vietnamese and Asian restaurants is a little burger diner doing a great job with all your favourite burgers, fries, shakes and rings.
Order was placed via Menulog - came 20 minutes later than time advised by SMS (over an hour and a half after ordering). No apology when I called to complain. Disappointing as the burger flavours were great but everything was stone cold! Won't be ordering again especially due to lack of customer service!
Above comments were left and the owner contacted me to apologise and receive feedback. He then offered a free meal to compensate - an offer which was taken up today. Alan - thank you! Been twice and both twice were very good. Better than most burger restaurants for two reasons....big juicy patties and they also serve alcohol.
Yes yes yes yes. I had the double 'smash hit' burger as part of their lunch special which came with garlic/herb chips and a drink for about $14. Awesome value, and quality burger which explains the line when I got in but they got through orders quickly. This particular burger they press it thin so that it goes crispy like an American hash brown. If you like your burgers a bit chinky or pink don't get this, it's well cooked but I liked it, added a nice crunchy texture. Only bad thing I'll say is that I probably won't try anything else on their menu now that I've had this.
First time burger water at OnItBurger and I will be back. The Popping Jalapeño (double beef) with the mandatory bacon on top was a great choice. Nice juicy burger with plenty of taste was outstanding. The garlic and basil fries also were a great side. My partners chicken burger was very flavourful however probably a bit heavy on the batter. All in all, a great first time visit.

Great venue and atmosphere! It would be an awesome hang out joint as they serve alcohol and it can seat large groups. The Bacon Jam burger was nice and served promptly as the restaurant was quite empty at the time we were there (BF said it reminded him of Maccas??!) but the beef pattie was very thin compared to other joints we have tried. Chips were yummy with the garlic salt:)
Had the Veg G burger, it was pretty nice and crispy. The burger was filled with flavour as it has a pesto and mayo. Loved the addition of fried onion rings, it gave the burger more crunch. Would definitely go back 👌

They just get it right with the combinations. Patties of great meat! The Bacon Jam is worth the visit!
They are the only place that is able to both give the a super crunchy bacon and the best crunchy chips ever! Check the basil salt!

Great burgers, thinner patties than most places but that just means you just don't end up bloated! You can always order a double if you're really hungry. Bacon jam is delicious and the bacon was cooked perfectly. Will be coming back here. $9.50 asahi pints and watching the local wildlife drift by make for a good experience.

Wow what a surprise...as a regular Victoria St eater, I've been meaning to come here for a while now.
The place had a comfortable vibe, plenty of seats and a super catchy music playlist. Ordered the double Bacon Jammy with the basil and garlic fries. Also had a chocolate cookie shake (took me a while to decide, there's heaps of flavours!!)
The beef was cooked perfectly and you can taste/see the quality. The bacon was very crispy and the bacon jam was interesting, weird at first but it definitely grew on me and goes well with the burger and that smoky addictive On It sauce! My partner had the Spicy Chick in a black bun?! The chicken was VERY crunchy and she loved it too.
Overall, couldn't fault the experience...came here for a quick dinner but will definitely be back with a group mates for some more burgers and beers!

So when On It Burgers opened up a mere 5 minute walk from home and we heard that they had 16 shake flavours including toasted marshmallow, green tea, pistachio and lychee (I know right?!) we were there in a heartbeat.
Came here on a busy Friday night. Chilled place with sick tunes. Food came out quickly considering the number of customers. Tried the 'Hero' burger. Patty was juicy and buns really soft, and the special sauce was delicious! The garlic and basil chips were an interesting combo, but somehow really worked. They have a good selection of craft beers and beers on tap. Highly recommended.
I just love the burgers here, so juicy and flavorsome! However I'm addicted to the chips, the basil mix with the mayo with a glass of white wine is just simply Devine 👌
At the Victoria Street Lunar New Year festival last weekend, one of the foods on offer that caught my eye were burgers. This was for 3 reasons - almost all the rest of the food places are Asian, they had black bun sliders on offer, and they gave out samples of their quite tasty housemade onion rings. On the day I had one onion ring, but didn't have the stomach space to try the burgers.

A nice chilled out place. Yummy burgers, a variety you won't find anywhere else. Had the Popping Jalapeño burger, was excellent! Just the right amount of jalapeños. Definitely going there again to try the others on the menu
I visited onit burgers on a Tuesday night, it was basically empty so no trouble getting a table! I had the traditional 'onit burger', it was delicious. The thing that made it were the awesome pickles, and the amazing smokey sauce. If burgers are your thing, then definitely worth checking this place out.
A different menu to the other On It Burgers store and in Ferntree Gully and an awesome new fit out with plenty of seating for both small and large groups. Patties are cooked to a nice pink as a standard which is great to see,they are soft and juicy - if you want them cooked any more you have to be specific. The patties are 120g and the extra patties are $3, adding an extra 1 patty goes down nicely, if you are feeling extra hungry a 3rd would still allow you to enjoy the burger grip. The beef patties are super high quality, the house sauce is unique and lickable off the plate and the buns are nice soft brioche - a great combination and a mighty fine burger.
recently went here with a group of friends, we sat at the back which was roomy and nice. very kid friendly joint and we had room to fit a few prams. i ordered the blackbeard as i heard good things and was not disappointed. my husband and his best mate ordered the double jammie- no probs. my son loved the chips and onion rings and made a mess with the sauce. Great place to hang with family/friends and for us mum and bus too:0 :)
Could not recommend this place enough. When you walk in you're greeted with a big smile, food is well balanced and served out fast. I've tried a few burgers now and bacon jam really is life.

I was really excited to hear that a new burger place was opening up on Victoria St and it did not disappoint. This place is amazing!! I ordered the on it burger which was very juicy and you can tell that they use the freshest ingredients. The 'on it' sauce gave the burger gave it a good kick too. I tried the lychee milkshake which was delicious (first time ive come across this flavour in a milkshake!!) Disappointed I didnt get order onion rings though. Loved the setup and atmosphere. ll definitely be dropping by again!

5 x Grass Fed Beef Patties, 5 x American Cheese, Pickles, Red Onion, Lettuce, Tomato & Smoky On It Sauce = Beautifully made tasty flavours and didn't fall apart, not too oily, cheese didn't taste fake and beef was on point!!!
The black beard in it's shell crab glory is just phenomenal. Love the shakes. Nice thick and creamy. My favorite part though is the crunchy chips. Visit for a burger before it gets on everyone's radar!

Been to this great new burger place more than once now. Burgers are top notch and can hold their own against the many offerings out there. The onion rings are the best I've tried so far and worth the trip!
With so many burger shops popping up around Melbourne it is good to see that someone has decided to take pride in producing quality products at the right price and still have time to pop out of the kitchen to say hello and ask for honest feedback.
We ordered the classic to firstly ensure the baseline product was on point and well it didn’t disappoint, the meat was tender and cooked well, the bun was soft and fresh and you can’t go wrong with the classic dead horse and mustard.
My partner went for the popping Jalapeno patty which again was cooked to perfection and the American cheese tied the hot sauce and jalapenos all together.
Now to believe it or not my favourite part, it wasn’t the burger or the chips but the onion rings, if you head out to on it ensure you get the onion rings. You will not be disappointed.
All in all if you’re in the area and want a good feed at reasonable pricing then On It is worth the stop.
Glad there's a decent burger place on Victoria street now. Been there a few times already and slowly making my way down the menu. My favourites so far include the smoky chicken and black beard. Loved the onion rings and garlic and basil fries. My job doesn't allow me for long lunch breaks and I was quite impressed with the speed of delivery as well - even during the busy Late Friday afternoons. Will definitely keep coming back for more.
Just had lunch there today. Had the hero burger and fries. Burger was done well, nice soft bun with tasty meat patty and fresh lettuce, onion and pickles. Sauce was great too, not too tangy but went with the burger really well. Would go back again with mates ☺️

Came here with a group of friends last night and I got the Hero burger. Beef was cooked to perfection - tender, so juicy and very fresh. Bun was soft and very fresh too. Good ratio of meat to bun. Need to come back to try the soft shell crab burger and the chicken burger as my friends raved on about them. Best onion rings I've ever had. Service was excellent, the waitress was bubbly and helpful and came at just the right time to clear our trays away. Great music at a good level to make the place feel upbeat but quiet enough so we could converse with each other comfortably. By far the best burger joint I've been to. It ticks all the boxes in terms of quality, taste, service, atmosphere and fit out. The venue looks amazing!! Love the artwork and set up. Highly recommended and a must try!!
Decided to try this new place out last night with my bf having seen some pictures on Instagram. Firstly - wow the fitout of this place is awesome! Amazing street art on the ceiling and heaps of seats. I ordered the Bacon Jammy with side of onion rings. Bf had a dOuble On It. Food came out quickly and we weren't disappointed! Onion rings the best I've ever had! Burgers were juicy and soft. Big call, but I think def on par, if not better than 8bit. Great addition to vic street.

Had the double smash and went halves on the Bacon Jammy. Both were rippers! The double smash was a clean, balanced, easily eaten, non drowsy constructed burger. The fit out of the store is pretty schmick for a burger joint. Considering I ate 1 and half double burgers, chips and dabbled in some onion rings, I didn't leave the joint like I was prego with Braxton Hicks. Next time I gotta try one the many milkshakes on the menu.
Brand new burger joint just opened in Abbotsford! Most amazing onion rings! For a place that has just opened, these guys are incredible. The food was delicious, reasonably priced and came out fast! The staff are really friendly and the Melbourne inspired decor fits the area so perfectly!

I went here yesterday with my partner, after reading their great reviews online as we were after some great vegetarian burgers, did not disappoint and the burger had real unprocessed mushrooms in it🌞
Also staff super friendly and helpful. The spiked shake was delicious ( I didn't manage to get drunk😇). The cheese fries had generous amount of cheese and halepeno pepper too, very reasonable and enjoyable night out for 2 people. There was plenty of space to sit down and eat and it was nice after the restriction eased. Thank you guys, will be back!
Went here a few days ago and had the best burger I've ever tried in my life. I had the truffle black label burger with a side of fries, they were freshly made, so juicy and tasted superb!!! Food came out quickly and the service was terrific. 100% recommend, you must come here and try their burgers asap!!! :D

Really enjoyed the food here! This place was a nice surprise nestled among the more casual eateries on the street. The ambience was lovely and the burgers were delicious. They had unique flavours too and a lot of variety. All in all, glad that I decided to check it out!
Walking in to On it burger after a long day of shopping I was not sure what to expect. The venue was rather empty for 5:30pm on a Saturday and it had an almost fast food feel. I must say, after the first bite everything changed. I was impressed with the quality of the meat and how crispy it was, with a bit of pink in the middle it was perfect. We had the Double Bacon Jammy and the On It burger. Bacon Jammy was definitely the pick of the two. Overall very enjoyable burgers and a nice venue in the heart of Abbotsford.
