Retreat Hotel - Abbotsford - Photo album

Small neighbourhood pub with nice ambience, 2 fire places, craft beer and good food. Sunday roast was crackling pork which was huge, really good. Kids loved the pizzas. Ring to book a table, very friendly service.
Food was very good but the vibe on a Saturday evening was very unwelcoming. Too many drunk blokes, play wrestling out front, and general yobbish behaviour. Also, inside it was incredibly crowded as if we were no longer living with COVID. I reckon this place is way overrated on Google. I won't be ret
Staff are great, helped by the fact that the customers all seem to be regulars and everyone is having a great time. First time here for me, and disappointed I live in a different country as this would be my local without a doubt. Prices are on par with other places, so not too expensive but not par
The staff at this Pub are full deadset legends and will go well out of their way to be awesome to their guests. Great vibe and beers and food too
Reduce the price of a pint of black to $12 and it'll be absolutely perfect. Nah in all seriousness it's a proper pub.
Love this pub. Awesome staff and the Chicken Parma and chips meal was delicious. Dog friendly venue. If you're there on a Sunday, get the Sunday roast meal... Absolutely delicious! One of my fave places to go when I'm in Melbourne ❤️
Such a great vibe. Really reasonably priced drinks some of which change up so you often get different drinks. Environment is relaxed but social.
Beef pie was tasty with very good pastry and meat was tender but mash wasn't well seasoned and could do with additional butter or cream.
