Great food and friendly staff
Great chilli/garlic beef with steamed rice - perfect amount of spice, good portion, friendly service - what's not to like for a $11 lunch? Mango with sticky rice also yum - Mango tinned but still surprisingly nice esp at the price! My wife and I shared this impromptu two course meal between two and were more than satisfied. Two thumbs up!
The food is great, especially the sushi rolls at lunch. All made to order it's worth the wait. The Yaki-udon is always a wonderful dish, but the gyoza would be better steamed or pan-fried as opposed to the crispy fried ones served. Must say the food here is consistently excellent; we eat here at least once a week and the standard is always high and great value.
Secret Garden provides great, friendly prompt service. The meals are cooked fresh and fast. The $11 lunch menu is amazing value and top quality Asian food. We were very satisfied customers.
Thought we would take advantage of the Lunch Specials during the week at Newcastle Diggers today. Food is absolutely beautiful and the service is exceptional really great value particularly the $11 Lunches. Great Staff, fantastic beer and awesome atmosphere smack in the middle of the Mall in Newcastle. Easy to find, thankyou and well done Diggers.
Great food and lovely people who cook and serve it. More like a pub than a Club and plenty of characters there. Some people expect more and so they are better off with the snobby set in trendy bars paying through the nose.
This modest restaurant-bar in the heart of Newcastle offers a great range of specialties. You should try a heart-warming tom yum soup, a genuine Thai red curry, and sides of rice or fries.
