Review Georges - Adelaide

JONK3R
Fine dining experience. Lovely decor and service to match. We had the 95 dollar banquet but dishes were small and left you feeling hungry. Made with care and delicious though. Good for groups or a date night

Had lunch here. Fish of the day was nice, with delicious mushrooms. The bread was free, tasty with potatoes pieces inside. Lots of wine choices as well. For lunch, not too busy. For dinner, better to book your seats online in advance. Nice service. Staff is very friendly.

A great restaurant, still a classic after 19 years. The service is stunning, the menu is delicious but a couple more gluten free options would make it perfect. The additional touch of a plate of macarons with a happy birthday message for my mum was lovely. It’s not too often you get that level of hospitality

George’s is an Adelaide institution and rightly so. It has survived Covid, just. And if you haven’t been recently, you should. We had lunch and the lovely Alex, ex Chianti, looked after us very well. She recommended a beautiful Chablis and was very patient with us, taking ages to ultimately order not very much food! Too much chat and wine!
Paula Dickson
Wonderful food and fine dining experience. Signature lamb well worth trying. Super yummy flavour combinations. Great wine selection also

Simply outstanding! I attended a business lunch today and George’s really impressed me! The service was fantastic, with even George himself serving us. The food was incredible and full of flavour. Such a lovely place to dine and catch up with colleagues, I will absolutely be back!

The food and service here are excellent. The only unfortunate problem is that the atmosphere is ruined by an up-tight maitre-d. We had the same experience some years back... We'd kind of hoped things would have changed. We were in the first sitting, and the place was wonderful and relaxed, everyone doing a good job ... Until this guy shows up. I can't abide bosses who badger and bully their staff. They're good at their job: just let them do it.

Great service and remarkable food.

This was the second time I've been there and again I wasnt disappointed, service was great ambience fantastic and one of the better Negronis I've had in recent times. Entrees (raw scallops and share platter) were beautiful, whilst the rabbit tagliatelle and lamb press mains went perfect with the sav blanc we chose off the expansive wine list. The one thing however which made the best impression was the truffle oil and mushroom arrancini ball on the share platter. As soon as I tested it I was taken back to the grand canal in Venice where I tasted a truffle and mushroom panini, amazing how one little ball could bring back so many good emotions. Well done Georges on Waymouth!

Georges on Waymouth has the best service, led by George, the best menu and the best chef & is my favourite restaurant. Absolutely worth a visit for breakfast, lunch or dinner

A very impressive restaurant. The Manager, Karan, was so welcoming and chatty. Congratulated us on our 38 th anniversary. Mentioned he was getting married in 5 Weeks. Gave us a complimentary dessert. Our Table waiter David, was attentive and polite. Very helpful with our wine choice. Best wine list we have ever seen. The food was beautiful. We were close to the serving area and very impressed with how well the chefs got on. They were very friendly to each other and waiting staff. Great choice!! Would go back again.

Fantastic food, the BBQ octopus entree was the best I've had. Truly fantastic flavours in every dish we ordered. Excellent service from all staff, very polite and made us feel special. Loved it.

I came here to celebrate my partners birthday. I couldn't have asked for anything better. The staff were friendly, knowledgable and attentive and the food was fantastic. I would recommend to anyone.

We had an intimate family wedding dinner in the private room and DJ and George and everyone else were so caring and attentive towards us and the food was amazing - Thankyou so much again for a wonderful night - Kerrie Lewicki

Best restaurant in Adelaide. Great staff, food to die for & an amazing owner make George's a must place to visit when in Adelaide. Highly recommended.

Food was outstanding and so was the service. The Happy Birthday touch on my son's plate was a nice touch. Congratulations to the staff who were friendly and very attentive.

Went here last night for office Christmas Dinner. <br/>This fine dining restaurant has good ambiance with a good collection of wine varieties. <br/>I would rate 4 in food , 4 in service . The vegetarian friends weren’t so happy. <br/>Overall a good restaurant in the city.

What an excellent lunch we had. Two couples catching up after 6 - 9 months. The staff looked after us from the moment we stepped through the door. The food was superb, as were the wines that went with it (great wine list). I definitely recommend this restaurant.
Michael Beres
One of the best meals ever. Great ambiance. We loved the Coffin Bay oysters, the Tasting Menu & the perfectly recommend accompanying wines. Food was absolutely amazing. The service was wonderful - professional yet made you feel at home. And we were greeted by George himself!! A perfect way to celebrate life!

George’s on Waymouth has been a long time popular establishment. I always associated that place with business lunches for some reason. Perhaps due to its location and the number of people wearing suits inside. The decor leans towards simple modern with a clean and elegant impression. Service was excellent from the moment we were seated right up till the end.
But I'm Hungry Now
Nicely presented restaurant with attentive, knowlegable staff. Came here with a group for lunch and looking at the other customers, this appears to be a go-to place for business lunches. We ordered a variety of appetizers to share plus a main each. Everything looked lovely and well presented. The appetizers were tasty and there was plenty to go around. I chose the lamb press as my main and was underwhelmed. It was a very nice looking dish but I couldn't really get much of that traditional lamb flavour that I love. The meat was overpowered by the sweet apricot sauce. The balance of flavours and textures just wasn't there and for the price tag, I was expecting something amazing. Maybe the other dishes fared better?
Josh
I think that this place is too highly overrated for the price and quality of food. We were quickly shown to our table, which was a good thing, but was left with only a wine menu. It is difficult to pair or decide wine when you can't see what options are on the menu to order? From there we decided not to go for the set menu as there were options we weren't too keen on and decided on the kingfish sashimi, pasta of the day (with white anchovies, tomatoes and a chilli and garlic oil), pressed lamb and crushed potatoes. The sashimi was doused and overpowered through the dressing and hid the flavour of the fish, the pasta was so bland with just the flavour of garlic oil and it seems that basic seasoning was missed, luckily salt and pepper was on the table, and the waiter kept the wine off the table so we had to keep waiting to get topped up. There were three floor staff but they were running around upstairs and around the whole place it was only expected that patrons started to get impatient for service or waiting for tables. The pressed lamb though was perfect and worked well with the crushed potatoes. If it wasn't for the lamb, I would have rated this place alot lower. The decor is also confusing as it seems to be Asian inspired but none of the food, except the sashimi, seems to align with this? We were quick to not order dessert and go elsewhere. Thank you for the brilliant lamb press but I won't be coming back again.

I love their breakfast menu - some really different offerings. I went with Asian greens and poached eggs. It was a satisfying breakfast. Great coffee. Excellent service - much improved from my last breakfast experience.

We came here to celebrate my birthday a few weeks ago and Georges on Waymouth did not dissappoint. Great food and great service! Unfortunately I couldn't remember our waiter's name - Steve maybe? - but he was very helpful, friendly and knew his stuff. Food was amazing - again, can't remember what we ordered - I'm hopeless 😩 but overall great dining experience. They even prepared a nice birthday dessert petit four for me.

Food at Georges is just awesome!! Very nice place and gracious staff. Drink Selection is also very good. I would definitely recommend this place to all.

Came here Saturday night for the 5 course tasting menu with matching wines. It was delicious. The food looked beautiful & tasted amazing. The wine was lovely though I do think they could have been a little more generous with their pours. I enjoyed the descriptions staff gave us when giving us each course & drink. There was also a good amount of time between each course.
MrJan
All up I had a good time there. Service was looking after us, so there where very attentive. <br/>Food was good, unfortunately not too memorable.<br/>Drink selection good. <br/>I would come back.

I have been meaning to put this review now for awhile and just had not had the time to bother to do it. But it affected me so much and I had to tell the story of my foodie experience at this restaurant. So I went to this place a couple of years ago to celebrate my graduation. I know it has been two years but till today I still have not gotten over this place. I had the lobster ravioli. After a couple of hours when I got home I immediately fell sick and had the worse diarrhoea I have had in my life. I actually fainted and took me many hours to feel slightly better. I could not believe how bad the reaction was. I was so sick. After paying about $250 for our meal, I was not only sick in my stomach but out of pocket one of the most expensive meals I have had at that time. I have not been back to that restaurant and will not be going back. It was awful.
Aaron
The food was average but for the price it wasn't anything special- eaten a lot nice meals for better value. When I usually give a low review I usually try to say one positive standout but couldn't name one other than a small dessert brought out as we let the staff know it was for a birthday.

My happy place - Could not recommend highly enough! The service is one of best I've had in Adelaide I always leave full and extremely happy! I highly recommend the tasting menu with paired wines! Last time we were there the waiter kindly waived down a taxi for us on Waymouth street and topped our night!! Can't wait for our next visit! ❤
Barry Orange
Excellent food, above and beyond service. Thoroughly enjoyed the wine matching package and will return definately. Waiter even hailed down a taxi after our meal and got the door for us. So nice to see such pride and attention to detail in an establishment.

Best experience eating out in Adelaide. <br/>Right from the start the table service was amazing. Started dinner with salad of squid which had the perfect amount of spice, followed by Atlantic salmon which looked like a work of art (and was cooked perfectly).  The night was made by the friendly staff; after they found out it was my partners birthday they brought him out a surprise dessert at the end of our meals. We will definitely go back

What can i say about Georges... It lives up to its high reputation of excellence.  I am a fussy eater with gluten and dairy intolerances.  Nothing was excluded from the menu for me,  they adapted the dishes i picked and  made them delicious and exciting with everything on the plate blending beautifully both in flavour and texture.  AS for the wine i could not decide on the wine so the waiter offered me a tasting of the two wines I was choosing from...... i was only ordering by the glass.  I have never had so much attentive service like this before.  The staff were all impeccably dressed and groomed and so attentive.  The owner, George was at the restaurant and came to our table to make sure we were being looked  after.  Nothing was too hard or an issue.  I will definitely go again.  I was made to feel so special .  Thank you George and all the wonderful staff at Georges for an amazing night.  Abbi

I was recommended this place by a friend since i am not an Adelaide local, so i made sure i tried it yesterday. I must say i was super impressed with everything. The setout is really funky and i also like the little outdoor take away options out the front.<br/>Now for the food, i was super impressed with it. <br/>I would highly recommend this place to anyone and when i am back in adelaide next time i will be eating here again

So disappointed! Was really looking forward to eating here since I've read so many good reviews and they have a high rating on here but I felt like the place was overrated from the experience I had :( I felt like it was overpriced. I've had much better quality and tasty dishes at a cheaper price. Maybe we didn't choose the nest dishes on the menu. The tasting board for the entree was good. No complaints with any of the food on the board. For $19 each there could have been more. I ordered the linguini crab pasta and it was not good. Hardly any crab meat. No flavour. Bland. Other people at my table said it was too salty. Very bad dish and not worth the price at all. We noticed other people around us were not too pleased with the dish either. I left half of it on my plate. One friend had the tagliatelle pasta which tasted much better than mine but was nothing special and not worth the price. My other friend had the steak now that looked great and by her words was delicious along with the vegetables and puree on the plate. Side potatoes were nice and crispy but a bit salty. Service was slow but our waiter was lovely and nice. Not sure if I'll try this place again :( I feel like compared to other restaurants that I've been to that are at the same price level or even cheaper, the quality of food was much better than here.<br/>Maybe we just didn't make the right dish choices but still no matter what dish if your a good restaurant all your dishes will be good!

Amazing! Not going to lie but expectations for Georges was high, and I'm thrilled that they did indeed deliver :) The service was outstanding, high quality decor set for a classy feel to the restaurant and most importantly the food was incredible. So so flavoursome! Fabulous attention to detail with both flavour and presentation. Wow...the pressed lamb!
HoneyBintheCity
Oh how I love this place!! I can't fault it! Everytime I've been here it's just an amazing experience right from the first greeting. The service from everyone is always outstanding and the food is perfection. The flavours put together are just made to suit and it's something ur mouth craves and u just Love it!<br/>Could be here for ages raving about the food, so I'll try to shorten it. Their signature lamb dish is as deelish as it's led to be believed, it is melt in ur mouth goodness that stays on the menu throughout the seasons and just gets tweaked with alternate flavours. The pasta is made fresh and boy u can tell, one of my all time favourite dishes I have had from here was a beef cheek pasta I am yet to come across anything as good.<br/>Last nite I had the fish special; blue eye trevalla with beetroot, quinoa and port & beetroot puree- simply superb! I'm sure I'll be back here again, but it is definitely for a special treat. Thanku George's 👌

The venue is classy and elegant with its minimalistic style, warm wooden floorboards and crisp white table cloths. Cosmopolitan. Bright pink, sweet and tangy. Coffin Bay oysters with cabernet sauvignon vinaigrette. The oysters were so large, plump, juicy and fresh. The vinaigrette was light, tangy and really tasty.

Not only was the food very good, with an enticing lunch menu, but the attentive service including recommendation of accompanying wine made the whole business lunch experience enjoyable and rewarding. Thank you to your top end waiting staff. Highly recommended!
The Munchkin
Great restaurant with excellent food and service. Had the duck rilette with orange mandarin curd and brioche toast. The toast was so so good and the mandarin curd is a nice addition to the richness of the duck rilette. Was also highly recommended of the lamb press with pancetta and that did not dissapoint. Meat was extremely tender and well seasoned. Definitely would like to try the pork belly next time.Had the specials homemade tagliatelle which was cooked to perfection, accompanied by chorizo ,olives and avocado which to me, was an odd combo but they tasted really good together.
N
The food here was great, the pork belly is tender without being fatty. I also had the osso bucco tortellini which I would also recommend. <br/><br/>Although the service was a tad slow at the start, it was lovely and genuine. The atmosphere is also nice and spacious. I'd go back again :)

Had the most amazing meal here the other night. The service is top notch at Georges. The wait staff are extremely professional, and George himself makes sure he gets around to all the tables and dishes up some of the plates. <br/><br/>We started off our meals with olives and bread sticks (grissini?), and we were served a slice of lovely, warm bread which I enjoyed with olive oil and dukkah. The bread was insanely fluffy! I wonder if it was baked in-house.<br/><br/>I ordered the Maple glazed beef brisket, horseradish puree, dill pickles, croutons, radish ($36.90). I was very impressed by the dish when it arrived at the table. The generous hunk of beautifully tender beef was glistening in its glaze and looked ever so appetising. I was not disappointed when I tugged at it with my fork and it fell apart easily. The meat was very well cooked and melted in my mouth, and the sticky sweet glaze was delicious. The accompanying ingredients on the plate balanced out the flavours well.<br/><br/>The Lamb press, pancetta, mustard fruits, swede puree, brussel sprouts, chard ($37.50) that my friend ordered also received much praise. We also ordered one of each side dish for the table. I loved the Crushed potatoes, rosemary salt ($9.50) and the Confit red cabbage, prune puree, toasted pine nuts ($12.50). The cabbage was served as a huge chunk with the leaves still connected, and it was cooked til it was incredibly soft and tender. It was such a unique way of eating the vegetable! The other two sides weren't very exciting, so I won't comment on those.<br/><br/>The desserts sounded so tempting, but my stomach was bursting at that point so sadly I had to give it a skip. All in all a very memorable meal. I can't get over how friendly the staff are. All of them called out to us to say goodbye as we were leaving! I will be back for sure!
PW Lou
A catch up with girlfriends and this was recommended by a friend. We had the sharing plate which was huge and plenty to go around. We also ordered the duck rillet which had the most gorgeous (definitely high in calories)orange sauce. <br/><br/>I had the lamb press which was cooked to perfection. It was tender and delicious. My friend had the beef brisket which she was pretty happy with as well. She thinks that the beef was better than the lamb. <br/><br/>Had a great night out with great company and food! It does get a bit noisy , so most probably not idea if you are planning a romantic dinner out.
On The Chopping Board
Established by George and Voula Kasimatis, George's on Waymouth is a restaurant that has been on Waymouth Street for over a decade, with no signs of slowing down. We were delighted to be invited to the new winter menu launch and to sample new Head Chef, Brent Potuszynski's modern European delights. The event was also attended by representatives from Karrawatta Vineyards who supplied the seven course degustation dinner with accompanying wines from Adelaide Hills and Langhorne Creek.

And with the brisk cold weather, comes a new winter menu at one of Adelaide’s classic favourite restaurants–Georges on Waymouth. We were kindly invited to be one of the first to sample some of their dishes from their new winter menu. You’ve probably walked past Georges countless times, the restaurant itself doesn’t scream bold or vibrant, but more subdued, minimal and stylish with crisp linen table cloths, high ceilings, wooden floorboards and a constant crowd of diners, even on a week night!
Tempting Palates
Georges on Waymouth has a new Winter Menu and Tempting Palates was invited to a 7 course degustation dinner trying most of the new dishes. Chef Brent Potsuszynski has created some innovative and palate pleasing dishes and it was hard to choose one standout favourite when in reality they were all amazing. To accompany each dish we were also served a glass of matched wine from Adelaide Hills boutique winery Karrawatta.

Georges on Waymouth was established over 14 years ago and is often seen as the benchmark for Italian fine dining experiences. Set over multiple levels, the decor is stylish and minimalist with crisp linen tablecloths, high ceilings and timber floorboards. Run by George and Voula Kasimatis, the aim is to provide the customer with an all round experience; using fresh seasonal produce with exceptional service in a classic European setting. Last night, Adelaide Food Central, along with other guests, were invited to sample the new Winter menu. All food and drink were provided free of charge.

Best restaurant in adelaide! <br/>Love this place, its food, the people and the atmosphere. Waiters are friendly and highly attentive. Food is exceptional. My number 1 i always recommend.
Tempting Palates
Our next Tempting Palates monthly dinner took us to Georges on Waymouth at 20 Waymouth St, Adelaide. For most of the team this was a new experience and for the rest it was a welcome return. Owners George and Voula Kasimatis started Georges way back in 2002 and it's still a popular restaurant. Georges has recently been inducted into the Restaurant and Catering Awards Hall of Fame. .....

Stunning gem tucked away at Waymouth st. Greeted warmly on arrival on a cold evening. We ordered beef tartare and pork belly as entree. Beef tartare is slightly too acidic for my liking but it was done well. The pork belly was superb - balance of sweet and earthy licorice with umami soft pork, against a slightly acidic witlof. <br/><br/>Mains we had were the duck and the Morton bay bug linguini. And both of them were stunning. The duck was soft with good accompaniment. The linguini was cooked aldente with really nice and well cooked bugs. <br/><br/>The service is worth a mention. Immaculate service, warm and inviting. Overall we had a really good evening here and we will be back.

Really enjoyed my first time dining with a group of friends and it certainly won't be my last! The staff are very attentive and the dishes are beautifully presented. The stand out dish of the night was the beef striploin with glazed cheek! Confit pork belly was a really delicious way to start the meal and if I have a piece of advice? Save room for the tiramisu! The variety of wines were also enjoyed and look forward to returning to George's on Waymouth soon!
Skye Grinter-Falzun
My absolute favourite restaurant in Adelaide! I would definitely recommend the tasting menu if you haven't dined here before, you will be able to try new flavours without prior judgement of the menu. The staff are very friendly and are always available to help you with anything you require. Keep up the good work!

First time dining here. I had been meaning to go to Georges for quite some time now after many great reviews. The place certainly didn't disappoint. Waiters are friendly and attentive, checking on our table without being intrusive. I had the linguine special and my partner, the lamb press from the menu. Both dishes were served superbly and generously. Starters and sides were great too! I would definitely recommend to everyone and certainly will be returning again some time. Great food and service!

Oh my god, this place is the best!<br/><br/>I've been to plenty of restaurants in Adelaide and this one tops them all so far.<br/><br/>We had the chefs selection entree followed by duck Maryland and the pressed lamb, every single dish was presented really well and tasted even better than it looked.<br/><br/>The staff were very polite and knew what they were talking about and the atmosphere was really nice and quite calm for a busy place.<br/><br/>If you love food, go here.
Dave
Shocking and overpriced in my opinion! The sad sack staff only complimented by their sad sack manager! $600 for two course and a couple bottles of wine. There were 4 of us and all felt the overbearing manager was constantly bullying his staff!
MKC Inc.
We were a little disappointed with Georges. The venue, menu and service were all amazing but the food just did not cut it. The gnocchi with pumpkin purée, feta and candied peecans was lacking. After mixing all the ingredients together it was gluggy and dry. The gummy shark on a bed of bulgar, currants, pumpkin purée and tempura ocra was not balanced well in flavours. The fish was dry, the bulgar was bland, couldn't taste the currants, dull purée. The only good thing was the ocra.
Fiona
One of the best restaurants , very friendly professional staff , great menu , beautiful high quality wine , loved everything about this restaurant, we had the fish of the day , lamb , couscous and cucumber salad ,

This evening I dined here with two friends. Having never been here before, I had heard great things about this restaurant and was hoping that George's would live up to my expectations.<br/><br/>After studying the menu we decided on the tasting menu, went in blind and hoped that we wouldn't be...

Excellent food and a pleasurable dining experience, compliments to the chef on a job well done! Staff were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.

<br/>A favourite. Food: High quality. Consistent. <br/>Service: Attentive, knowledgeable, friendly but not overbearing.<br/>Ambience/Feel: Slightly more upmarket but still quite relaxed, even on a busy evenings. <br/><br/>I've been to George's a few times now and am continually impressed. The food is delicious and of high quality. My favourite dish is the wrapped lamb - just amazing! The service is unmistakable. I love this place and think it is one of my favourite restaurant in Adelaide! <br/>

<br/>George made it so easy to organize a surprise wedding anniversary gift for my parents who raved about the food and reported that the service was immaculate. So very grateful. Thanks!

Tried to book a small function about 12 weeks ago, but the owner who took the booking carried on so much with tantrums and ridiculous demands we cancelled.<br/>Forward a few weeks we thought we would give it a go so the Wife and I went out here for a special night and left quite disappointed.<br/><br/>Starters sweet and sour shell crab was way undercooked and had a hint of "on the turn" so we didn't and couldn't eat it, Scallops were raw on the inside, I mean totally  raw, I didn't order sashimi!!<br/>Owner is quite arrogant but anyway we move on...<br/>Baked beetroot for main was underwhelming, with very little flavour and the Linguine with "roasted" capsicums and cheese, Pasta hard and Capsicum just raw!<br/>Cant believe this place holds itself out as a 5 Star experience, Café Primo might just take it out! <br/>What a joke <br/> <br/> <br/>
Jacqui's Food Fetish
It’s easy for me to get carried away with trying to get to all of the new places popping up in Adelaide and forget about those places that have been around for a while. Take Georges on Waymouth for example. Despite the fact I’d had great experiences there in the past, I hadn’t eaten here for quite some time – but suddenly it seemed the perfect place for a family birthday dinner I was organising.
Asian_taste
It's our first visit here for my birthday and it's fantastic!! Love the food, service and ambience. Although it's a Wednesday night, the restaurant was surprisingly full. However, service was top notch! Our waitress for the night, Chiara was great! She's very attentative and even surprised me with a birthday dessert at the end of our meal. We had the milk poached pork belly which is by far the best we had tasted in Adelaide, angus beef which is delicious with dill pickles and our entree of seared scallops was something not to be missed! The only downside was probably the broccolini with smoked lardo (side) which we think is slightly overpriced.  We will definitely be back again for another special occasion! Well done!

This is my fifth visit to George's. I'm limiting myself to six visits to a restaurant now. After six visits, I've eaten everything good from the menu, and I find myself eating their worst food. :). I still haven't seen George though. :|. Roasted vegetables, sauce romesco. Yes, this fairly boring-sounding dish is apparently one of the best things on the menu. :)
WhySpeakWhenYouCanEat
This place was great, came here for dinner and it lived up to what we had thought. Service was fast and friendly, atmosphere was really nice (loved the music) and the food was great. <br/><br/>Ordered the tasting menu for 2. It's always fun eating with surprise from one of the top chefs in Adelaide, really enjoyed this experience.<br/><br/>Will be back for sure.
Leah
I came to Georges for a mid week lunch. The restaurant has a classic style and feels comfortable. Staff are very kind and attentive. The wine list is decent and the lunch menu is okay - small but good. We skipped entrees as nothing overly appealed to us but got more sides with our mains. Ordered the scotch fillet steak - I wasn't overly impressed with the quality of the cut (especially at a 40$ price tag). Have had much better steaks elsewhere. The sides (salads and vegetables) were okay but quite basic - we hardly touched them. <br/><br/>Overall the place has a nice feel and is okay for a lunch but I wouldn't rush back here - many superior restaurants in the CBD for lunch.
Adrian Porcaro
George's is a very reliable fine dining restaurant serving Mediterranean inspired food. On my most recent visit I went with a large group, which is my favourite way to visit a restaurant so that I can try as much as possible!<br/><br/>Food:<br/>Overall I thought the mains were significantly more enjoyable than the entrees. I tried the salmon pastrami, the chicken wings and the sharing board. The chicken wings were the standout of the entrees - delicious. Of the mains I got to try the tortellini and the linguine, the pork belly, the lamb press and the scotch fillet. I wasn't amazed by the linguine, but every other main dish was an absolute delight.  I'm not a huge dessert fan but the fondant and the rhubarb were nice to finish with.<br/><br/>Service:<br/>The service is very professional and attentive as you'd expect when you attend a restaurant of this calibre.<br/><br/>Ambience:<br/>George's is a very simple and elegant space, it's not revolutionary or unique but it is beautiful and familiar and warm. And it's nestled in where it belongs, on Waymouth St among some of the best restaurants in Adelaide. <br/><br/>Dish to look out for:<br/>The lamb press - it's their signature for a reason.
Gastronaut
Was disappointed with the food here, especially since it is such a nice looking restaurant. The food I ordered was overly heavy and lacked flair or passion. I ordered the tortellini as a starter, chicken wings and the lamb press. <br/><br/>The chicken wings were not good. They looked terrible, tasted mediocre and were outrageously expensive for what they were.<br/><br/>I was expecting better from this place. The saving grace was that the wine was quite nice and the service was ok. The serving staff were attentive and very friendly but some lacked common sense. For example home made bread was served with only a tiny amount of olive oil. I requested more olive oil and again they brought out an insufficient amount, I gave up asking for more after that. <br/><br/>I probably would not go back as the cooking could have been better and it was expensive for the quality of food.
PulluWJ
Beautiful meal, great staff and a comfortable environment. The tortellini was tasty. Although beautifully cooked, the lamb press and the pork belly were rich and heavy, could be better if served with some fresh veg. Would love to go back some time.

Andrew. Went George s 30 th May started with scallops they were amazing then prawn linguine a bit disappointed with poo shoot left in then had the warm duck salad duck was great salad terrible

Brilliant customer service. Amazing food! 10/10 would go again

Went here on a fri night. We both really enjoyed the food, steak was great! Good service from attentive staff but the downside was it all felt rushed. The staff were busy n that showed, it took it away from being a relaxed meal. We recommend tho

An exceptional meal.. I visited Georges on Waymouth, this evening, Saturday 19/04/15, with a friend. The menu was tantalising and it was difficult to make a decision, but I finally decided upon the Scallops for my entree and the Chef's Special Snapper, for my main course. My friend ordered the Swordfish entree and Chicken main course. We shared a side of potatoes. <br/>Our waitress was efficient and friendly and the overall ambience, relaxed and pleasant.<br/>We were both delighted with our choices : Our entrees were served in a timely manner and exceeded expectation. The Scallops were tender and perfectly complimented by coriander and red onion. The Swordfish I'm told, was delicious. Our main courses were superb : The chicken looked, ( and was reportedly), the most tender and succulent chicken ever tasted. My Snapper was divine. <br/>I cannot speak highly enough of the food and service Georges offers, and would highly recommend this restaurant to friends, couples, groups and large parties. But don't take my word for it....go taste for yourselves :-)

Amazing, fantastic meal. Worth the money, value is definitely there.. Hard to live up such a high rating, but Georges did it. We came here for a special occasion, and the food was incredible. The service was, as expected, phenomenal, with the casual over-attention that comes with fine dining. As to the food, just awesome. Specific shout-out for the lamb press, 24-hour slow-cooked lamb, then wrapped in prosciutto and "pressed" to crisp up. All-time great dish.

Perfect experience. From the call to reserve a table to leaving the restaurant this was a perfect dining experience. Booking was efficient and polite. Restaurant was spacious and quiet, staff attentive and friendly. Being vegetarian, options are sometimes ordinary but the eggplant dish for mains was outstanding - every bite flavoursome and delicious. My husband had the pork belly starter and the signature dish ( lamb) and both were delicious. We also shared the fig and feta salad - dont miss out on this! All meals were beautifully presented.Perfect!

Not cheap but fantastic quality food. I've been here a few times as it is close to work and I've never had a bad experience.

Faultless service and amazing dishes!. Table of 3 on Saturday- We ordered cocktails and 3 starters, which were all presented beautifully. The waiters recommended a bottle of red for our main course. The Scotch Fillet and duck dishes were delicious, and the attention to detail was spot on. <br/>The best thing about the night was the attentive, friendly and non- intrusive fine dining service from all the staff. <br/>Having all worked in hospitality we all left very excited and nicely full! We will definitely return and recommend Georges!

Not worth it. Went with my wife for a romantic dinner and was very disappointed. Apparently this place used to be good but it was half empty, service was slow and one of the waiters had real odour issues. Pasta and salad were very boring fish also ordinary and dessert was nothing special. For the price you pay better go elsewhere. Shame

Fabulous lunch here of pork belly, parsnip purée, broad beans and rhubarb chutney. Great setting, professional and attentive staff.

Thank you to David who made my wife's birthday dinner just a little more special, I tried to put in a tip on the eftpos machine but you when through it too fast. Well done. <br/><br/>Ps the meal was awesome

I will be back. I could not fault this evening - terrific food, great wine selection & service that was memorable for all the right reasons - was my first visit - and we were aa large group but this was by far the most impressed I have been with Adelaide dining and on my "definites" list when i return to Adelaide

Amazing! Food was devine - lamb press w side of Greek salad, Ballycroft Shiraz, smoked chocolate dessert - heaven. <br/>Staff were fantastic went above & beyond to make recommendations & completely look after you. Very highly recommend.

Oh so special. Once again we returned to Georges for a celebration dinner. The food was exquisite, as always. Amongst the 6 of us we covered most of the mains such as the Pork Belly, a perennial favourite, I tried the Hay Valley Lamb and could easily have eaten more of the lamb press, so much flavour and mix of textures on the plate. The Angas Fillet was cooked to perfection and our 14 year old had the duck and loved it. We savored the Willows Bonesetter Shiraz 2010 with all dishes. Let it breathe a little to enjoy. Desserts, well they don't get any better. Do yourself a favor and try the meringue - OMG. The chocolate brownie was equally devoured but I think I chose the best one. Finally the service was up to George's immaculate standards as was the whole ambiance of the room.<br/>Thank you for making our evening special George.<br/>Tracey and Jeff

Nice. Great lunch place. reasonable price for what they do.

Impeccable service. Best in Adelaide. <br/>Definitely a place to go to impress guests/partner/friends etc. <br/>High quality food cooked with care and well seasoned - almost too well. <br/><br/>Seasonal menu offers plenty for all tastes. Entrees are fairly light in serving size but set the scene for the meal well. Main portions are quite reasonable in size, especially with sides. <br/><br/>Lamb press is great. My wife loves the pork belly

Simply delicious!. The most friendly, impeccable service and outstanding food! We have been here 3 times and each time has been equally as satisfying as the other- we cant get enough! They make their pasta fresh on the day and boy can u taste the freshness, the antipasto platter is a great starter and great wine list too. Every dish we've tried is simply cooked to perfection like the pork belly was so juicy yet with the perfect crisp crackling and the lamb was absolutely falling to pieces it was so tender. The staff are just so accommodating &make the experience great! Will continue to dine here &recommend to others.

Creative and delicious degustation. Clever wine matching. Great staff.

Wonderful!. We took a chance on this place and we were so so impressed! <br/>The food was sensational and the staff were friendly and prompt. <br/> Very happy with everything and will definitely recommend to all.

Beautiful dining. This place, the food, the atmosphere -- just gorgeous. The service is swift, attentive and unassuming. I love it when incredible restaurants like this aren't too hoity-toity for their own good. Standouts for me are the quail terrine, gnocchi with butternut pumpkin, and confit pork belly, but I love everything on their menu. A must-try.

Beautiful restaurant. Took my girlfriend here for a nice anniversary dinner. Was just smashing! Good food, good service and reasonably priced fine dining. Well done.

Fantastic Service Burnt Gnocchi. I am on the hunt for the best gnocchi in Adelaide, it is not here. The gnocchi was the pan fried type and some were overcooked, so much that they were dark brown and really hard, The gnocchi here was not light and fluffy, The gnoochi was serves with pumpkin, walnuts and cheese and as such was quite try. Rigatoni's gnocchi is better. My friend had the lamb press and he said it was very good. Due to dining on a Saturday night, we had to have the two course, desserts were ok. I had the bavarois, which was basically a pancotta, my friend had the parfait, which I dont think was a parfait, it was just peanut butter icecream in a block with some choc mousse. For $16.50 I think this is a little over priced.

Had a set menu for dinner for 16 on a busy Saturday night. The food was delicious, with amazing wine, and I have yet to experience such great customer service in Adelaide. Thank you for the incredible experience. I couldn't recommend this restaurant more highly.

Georges is good. Been here many times and continue to come back. The food is as we like it, fresh and nice. The service is always good as is the consistency. Thanh Li

I had dinner at Georges on saturday night.. wow.. The staff were lovely. It was very busy, and I must say.. It was a real experience. I had the steak tartare entree which was divine, and my partner had the blue fin tuna special and that did not disappoint either. For mains I had the lamb press which melted in your mouth, and my partner, the butternut squash housemade gnocchi.. Amazing. I am from London, here for business for a month. I must say that Georges is of the standard Im used to at the michelin star restaurants of London, and the first restaurant Ive visited in Australia that ticks all the boxes. For me.. 10/10. Well done Georges. I WILL be back.
Rachel @ Sweet Ravioli
You must dine at George's! The food is fantastic, top quality and obviously made with love and skill. The wait staff are the best in Adelaide. My only suggestion would be to heat the dinner rolls. Can't wait to return!

Very welcoming. Staff excellent. Food lovely presented and delicious. Small servings and a bit on the pricey side. Nice experience.

Great food and service , bit pricey.. Took my wife here for her birthday. Great service, food was delicious (selection below) , our English waiter was very professional, bill was a bit on the high side but we left a tip. 12 hr braised beef, great flavours, fell apart on the fork, hers was the flathead roulade, sublime flavours and beautifully cooked. The wines are over the top pricy and I'm always irritated at the concept of 'sides' that you pay extra for when they should be included, but all in all a great meal for a special event, although I won't be going here for regular meals!
Thuy-My Ng
Very attentive staff, but not intrusive. The pressed lamb and duck roulade were divine. Appropriate serving size - I was more than satisfied after my entree and main. Highly recommend.
Mark
Great service, great food, a trifle expensive but worth it and attention to detail not much to fault

Where do I begin. I can not wait to return to Adelaide to dine @Georges on Waymouth. The stand out meals for me were the rabbit pappardelle & the Clare Valley Black Angus. The food was sensation as was the service. Amazing, amazing& amazing!!

We just had the new winter menu last night. Absolutely fantastic food and impeccable service. Highly recommend the beef short ribs!

After hearing about how good this place is, I was disappointed with my experience there. First off, I made a booking which they were unable to find. And we were seated against the corner of the room when the restaurant was fairly empty. The food was mediocre to say the least but priced at a 5 star restaurant. We had scallops which were undercooked and small for $20. Their mains were okay but nothing to shout about. Overall, a disappointing experience
DrZen
Always good service and standard are good.

Always outstanding. The fish is often the best meal on the menu and the service is flawless. Great coffee too - highly recommend
Deb
Wanted a special place for dinner and heard Georges was great. Sadly it was embarrassing for me as myself and guests were completely disappointed. Food took 2 hours to arrive and when it did it was cold and unappetizing. One guest had to get up and "self serve" his own wine and we joked about going into the kitchen and making ourselves a sandwich. Don't bother with this restaurant. If you can't get it right after 10 years you never will....
JJfood
Great food and service with a relaxed atmosphere. Will definitely be back many a time.
Vicky Brooks
My boyfriend took me here for a treat and a treat it was! Great service, the nicest scollops i've had the pleasure of eating and my fish with chickpeas was divine. My boyfriend had the quail to start and lamb for main. Needless to say these were fantastic too! Great service, including gf bread for myself which is a rarity in most restaurants! Would highly recommend. Affordable fine dining.

Flawless. Had lunch here in January with my wife while we were both on holidays and what a lunch it was. The owner, George, attended to us personally and recommended wines by the glass to match our dishes. He gave us a tasting of quite a few before we decided on a beautiful Fiano. Food was flawless. Serious skill and technique involved here. Service was professional, attentive, but never obtrusive. After our meal we sat at tables outside and enjoyed some more delicious wines and watched the world go by. Nice to know there's at least one restaurant in Adelaide that cares about what they do.

Amazzzzziiiiing!!! I have eaten at a lot of nice places in Adelaide, this is easily rope 3! Food was exquisite! Amazing flavour combinations. Have to say a true highlight was to be served by incredibly passionate staff. All were well versed on their hospitality skills, understanding of the menu and general great attitude towards high quality service. The atmosphere was light, not stuffy and it was just a great place to be. George - owning a Resturant.... You are doing it right! I am recommending it to everyone that will listen! I will be back so I can try everything on the menu, but it will be hard to go past that lamb press!! :D

Celebrated my birthday here, staff were so lovely and genuine, the food was superb, we all had something different from the menu and I sampled it all, so delicious. Can't fault the night at all. Will definitely return here!
Jo Muir
Fabulous starter, mains ok, bit cold & 40 mins to receive our cheese platter (2 small pieces of cheese) which considering there were people waiting for a table or well over an hour u would have thought it could have been quicker! Will go again tho not on a Saturday, too busy. Wait staff were lovely
AH
We went for a special night out and also had the tasting plate. It was one of the best meals I have had. I particularly loved the beat salad, which was truly a flavour sensation!! This amazing meal was made even better with amazing service especially our waitress who was knowledgable, attentive and friendly. Can't wait to go back!

Last Thursday evening we 2 chose the tasting menu. It was our first visit. We have been systematically trying the Waymouth st foodie precinct over the last month or so. Up until now our favourite has been Press (for the offal). The atmosphere at Goerges beats them all. We could actually have a conversation! Zuccini flowers were great. Serves were ample. I don't know why some folks have complained about size--not that size matters at such a great restaurant. I was too shy to take pix, but will this Saturday if we can get a booking for our interstate foodie friend. So many different flavours on each plate. Loved it. Would love to try the breakfast.
Lara
From the moment we walked in the door, I loved George's. We had an amazing waiter who was chatty but professional, spectacular food and great wine. Wish we could afford to eat here more often!
Chris Wainwright
Amazing meal. From start to finish, the service and the food made it a very amazing and special meal. The KI marron and scallops were so fresh with a zesty celery and apple sauce. The risotto was melt in your mouth and the Fig Tarte Tartin with its light puff pastry and home made ice cream were divine. For quality and a magnificent occasion, one can't quibble about the cost.
Anna
The best i have had. Ever. So far.. My partner and i.....<br/>First time there we got a cheap dinner thanks to a 'living social voucher' - 10/10<br/>Which made us want to go back<br/><br/>So we booked for our anniversary - after a ..... Misunderstanding.... All was sorted and we went, a week after our anniversary, again. <br/><br/>We spent $230 ($250 including tip) and would have paid more. Two entrees each, one main each, complimentary champagne, and wine with each round.<br/><br/>I cannot describe the sensation. The tastes are second to none the quality unsurpassed and the service immaculate.<br/><br/>Perfect treat for our middle class wage.<br/><br/>Highly reccommended

From the initial greeting at the front door until the pleasantries on departure the experience was terrific. Confident and friendly service; freshly made pasta; local, interstate & overseas wine list. Fair value, enjoyable atmosphere, excellent menu options. A definite dining experience worth a return visit
Famished
Satisfilling. My experience here was near flawless. Their staff are wonderful and as attentive as ever, without being in your face. I had zucchini flowers with persian feta, white balsamic and pumpkin for an entree, followed by ricotta & sage gnocchi with asparagus, spiced tomato and reggiano for main. The gnocchi was terrific; much more tender than any I've tried elsewhere. I agree that portion sizes are far from mammoth, but one won't go hungry and it leaves room for dessert! A chocolate tasting plate was the perfect conclusion to a top notch afternoon at Georges.

Hi all. Went to georges for lunch with scoopon. Must say the wait staff were excellent. Kept us very well informed and times between courses, keeping drinks refilled etc etc. Food was plentiful and we were definitely satisfied with the meal especially the house made pasta. Satisfied customers and unlikely some other establishments treated scoupon customers with respect.

Great service and food. I had lunch here today for my birthday. We loved it! The staff are really friendly and knowledgeable about the food and wine.

Good experience, with scoopon.. Me and my Girlfriend, visited on Scoopon.<br/>Im in my 6th year of being a student (medicine) so its nice to go to a nice place and not spend ~$130.00. <br/><br/>After a bit of struggle getting a booking and reading some of the negative reviews I was expecting it to be a disappointing service.<br/><br/>But it was good, way better food then what ive experienced at the Windy Point.<br/> Better waiter than what i usually get at the Lenzerheid (Which is my favourite restaurant in Adelaide in my opinion)<br/><br/>Scoopon was good, others have complained about the small portion size...<br/>Honestly i was still a bit picky by the end of the Main, but after dessert and coffee I was definitely satisfied.<br/><br/><br/>So yeah, my girlfriend enjoyed it also, so I intend to take her back there in the next six months to spend or $20 voucher. <br/><br/>PS: the people who have paid out scoopon users are douche bags.

Great food and service!!. Bought a scoopon to try the European feast and it was bellisimo!! Service was wonderful too we will definitely be going for our return visit!

Why diss the Scoopon, Review the Restaraunt!. I find it really insulting that everyone is saying ridiculous things about the Scoopon use at this restaurant. <br/><br/>George's made the business decision to partner with Scoopon to create a great opportunity for a high class meal to those who may not normally be able to afford such luxury, and better yet, an opportunity for those who may be able to afford it to experience George's on a budget the first go round. When you insult the use of the Scoopons, you are also insulting the restaurant you are trying to somehow defend.<br/><br/>Growing up and looking beyond the Scoopon, this is a wonderful restaurant in every way. The wait staff is beyond helpful with such a professional demeanor, knowledge about the food being served and also extensive knowledge on the wines that would best be paired with that food. Speaking of wine, the wine list was exceptional, one of the best I have seen in Adelaide. Our group of 4 ordered 2 more bottles of wine in addition to the ones in our deal because we couldn't decide on just one. :) All very lovely!<br/><br/>It was obvious that while eating there on our Scoopon deal that we weren't the only ones. However, they have definitely obtained a returning customer in me and I'm sure with many other Scoopon users who had a fantastic experience.

WE LOVE GEORGES!!. Seriously, "food profiler" you have written three reviews on jam bistro in one day, clearly you are affiliated with them in some way and you're therefore making jam look REALLY unprofessional. George is a committed owner who takes his shop seriously, works hard and on top of that, is a really nice guy. We have never had bad meal there. Yes, sometimes you might wait a little while, but it's not mcdonalds guys...Scoupons and the people that buy them suck.

Scoopon tragedy. Unfortunately, it seems Scoopon attracts philistines! Georges is an Adelaide institution for good reason. The below comment is a case of the diner not understanding quality and grades of quality. Furthermore they lack understanding of what they are actually consuming.

We used Scoopons and had a lovely meal. The food (4 courses + coffee) was delicious and plentiful and the wait staff extremely nice. Four of us on a tiny table could have been a problem but wasn't. The only negative was we felt slightly rushed and would have liked to linger longer since everything was so nice.
Morpheus
Saddened to hear your dissapointment. Small meal? Antipasto & Coorong Carpaccio shared, individual house made pasta , individual main course of confit chicken finished with house made pannacotta, bottle of Aramis wine, quality local wine and tea or coffee. $59 for 2. Amazing deal and offers people an opportunity to sample what we do. We value all our clientele and all our team offer quality ingredients backed by caring impeccable service. Please, no need for personal attacks on the owner. Remember he has a family to support like anyone else and no need for irresponsible comments by a so called food profiler. Many thanks.
RubyRoo
Georges is Gorgeous!. We used our Scoupon and there were 4 of us for lunch - the wait staff couldn't have been nicer or more professional. The food was absolutely divine... still dreaming about that 'melt in the mouth' pork belly with the crispy golden crackling... amazing homemade bread... vanilla bean pana cotta dessert.... wonderful coffee.... can't wait to go back for another meal. Definitely worth visiting for a business lunch or just a special out to lunch treat. We were especially impressed that we were treated so well using our Scoupon. Thanks Georges!

Holy god! The most delicious meal I've had in a long time! Fab service too!! Amazing! 5 STARS!!!!

Can’t rave enough about this well known city based restaurant. From the absolutely incredible food to the attentive and friendly service, George’s on Waymouth is one of the best restaurants we’ve been to and there is no doubt we’ll be going back. We can’t quite decide what the best part of our night was – pre dinner cocktails, amazing food over 3 courses, fun chats with the waiters – there’s too much to choose from. That goes for the menu too; you can’t come here just once because there are too many items that you’ve had food envy for and need to come back to try! All our meals were absolutely top notch, there was nothing to be faulted. Fresh produce, fantastic flavour combinations and a touch of the classic style which can never be replaced. Can’t say we’ve had better service anywhere else. The staff are clearly enthusiastic about the restaurant and everything it has to offer. The kitchen is visible from where we were in the dining area and the team are q

It has been a while since we last had fine dining and so on our day off we visited a popular Adelaide fine dining restaurant named Georges on Waymouth. Many of our friends have been to this restaurant before and have said many good things about this place. It is a beautiful and top quality fine dining restaurant. The service was top standard and the food was delicious with unique touches. We had quite high expectations for Georges on Waymouth and it did exceeded that expectation. I am glad that Adelaide still has restaurants like these to go to when we want quality fine dining. Although the price isn’t cheap but we definitely felt like the quality was worth it. We will definitely be back to try other dishes or when they change their menu. The waiter said that they change their menu each season.

A vegetarian dish! The gnocci was soft on the inside and cruncy on the outside and the butternut squash was sweet, soft and creamy. I could not taste the sage very well. The goat's cheese was nice and tangy and made the dish even creamier. I love goat's cheese! There was some sort of lemon zesty chewy thingy in the dish. I had no idea what that was, but it was good. This dish was so filling! I could only eat half of it (after picking all the cheese out and eating it).

This place seems to be very popular with business types. I almost always overhear numerous conversations involving large amounts of money here.
The Feed Report
Some of these places have limited menus, or menus full of entrees, steaks, sides, specials, and other things I avoid on the Feed Report. On my third visit, it can be tough to find something appropriate that I haven't eaten before.

Numerous restaurants are randomly not open yet, for the new year. Luckily this place is right next to Bistro Dom, which is closed.

Lamb Press 7/10<br/><br/>(Apparently like a terrine.) Wrapped in pancetta, served with parsnip puree and apple candy.<br/><br/>Nice texture, being a reconstituted piece of meat, but still containing meaty structure. Better than any other “slow cooked” food I’ve had, but not all that exciting. The candied apple chunks evoked the feeling of eating roast lamb with apple sauce. That was interesting. -interstitial sweeping of crumbs from table with tiny brush-

Georges on Waymouth has been around for well over a decade and is one of the established fine dining restaurants in Adelaide. The menu is simple and straight forward with strong mediterranean influences.
Victoria Yap | Eat Pray Love 19
The signature dish of Georges is the lamb press. The lamb shank was cooked more than 12 hours till tender. After that, the lamb was shredded and wrapped with pancetta. The lamb press was then pan fried, resulting in a golden and crispy covering of pancetta. The accompaniments were baba ganoush, tahini yoghurt and pomegranate. <br/><br/>The lamb press was the best lamb that I have ever had. The lamb was juicy, tender and literally melted in my mouth. The saltiness from pancetta, smokiness from baba ganoush, slight sourness from pomegranate and palate cleansing tahini yogurt just complemented the lamb so well. It was a marriage between Mediterranean and European food.
FoodMeUpScotty
What I really loved about the dish was the chorizo and bacon combination, which really worked well together. The chorizo was sliced fairly thin but was not over cooked, so there was a lovely soft texture with a little bit of char for added flavour. The bacon was cooked just how I like it, with only a little bit of crispiness around the fat but the bacon nice and soft still. The tomato was OK, but could have used some extra seasoning or some balsamic vinegar to bring out the flavour.

What a fine evening! We were thoroughly impressed with the experience at Georges. The food could not be faulted. Wiping the last crumbs of dessert from our mouths, we were full, happy and also wondering if we could make a bougatsa at home. Oh, and yes, I was still awake even though it was close to two hours past my bed time.
James @ FoodiesCucina
Pasta of the day was gnocchi and sweet potato in tomato sauce. It was a nice dish. The tomato sauce had some hided smoked vegetable flavour. The potato gnocchi was chewy and all their pasta were hand made on the day at the premises.

Georges on Waymouth has been operating since November 2002 serving Mediterranean food taking advantage of SA’s fresh seasonal produce. The established restaurant is in the heart of the CBD, the dining room is stylish and open with high ceilings and wooden floor boards. It might not look it from the outside but they have plenty of seating options downstairs and upstairs. The restaurant was extremely busy on our visit and service was incredibly attentive and informative. We had a game plan when it came to ordering our food, but once the specials were read out, that game plan quickly changed. They sounded so good! We stuck with the confit salmon but opted for the specials of pan seared scallops (entree) and the market fish of snapper (main). Confit salmon, roasted cauliflower purée, candied pear and radicchio; $22.90 The confit salmon had good simple flavours with a small salad on top of the rectangular slice, unfortunately the knife didn’t cut through the fish as effortlessly as I was ho
