Wasai Japanese Kitchen - Adelaide - Photo album

Consistent in quality and a solid menu selection. The interior is quite nice and service is attentive enough. The Sashimi boat could have been better in terms of the quality of the meats used, but the quality is always consistently at that level. Other dishes are always of good quality. An 8/10 expe
Wasai is one of the best Japanese restaurants in Adelaide and it shows as the place is always packed during peak hours (booking ahead is advised). The food and service can be a bit slow given how busy it can get. There is a good selection of japanese drinks as well. Pictured: Tempura main with praw
The restaurant is located in the heart of Adelaide city and pretty close to China town. One of the best Japanese restaurant in the town for sure. The quality of the sushis and sashimis were absolutely good and fine. I really enjoyed most of the items from scallop nigiri to tuna and salmon rolls. Go
I can’t recommend this place enough. Great food, decent prices, good service, and nice atmosphere, however parking can be a challenge. As a sushi addict this place is close to my heart 😄
Great food expertly prepared by a team who seemed to genuinely care about giving you the best experience. Their deluxe sushi and sushimi plate was excellent and the sukiyaki packed full of flavour. Thanks for a great dinner!
Reservations are probably ideal cause the place seemed really busy when we got there at 7. Service was alright but was good for a really busy place so wouldn't expect much more. One of our all time favourite restaurants in Adelaide. I’d recommend booking in advance as walk-in availability is quite rare. The food here is exceptional and the best part is - it’s always consistent and never disappoints. Wasai is a well known Adelaide establishment just off Gouger St near Chinat
Hands down my favourite Japanese restaurant in Adelaide. You can't fault the quality, service and value. The quality of the food is always consistent; I have been back at least a dozen times and it never disappoints! My favourite dishes include the aburi salmon roll, soba noodle salad and tori mayo.
