This was the second time we've had dinner here and both times the meals were very nice. I love the touches of native foods that they add to their dishes.

I had scallops for entree. And steak for main. OMG the mash potato wicked good. Service was fantastic, meal was yummy yummy. Oh yes view looking out over the river was very good. Trying to impress a lady it's a good option.

Amazing atmosphere. Great food. Had the Chef feed me experience. Wine was a bit pricey but overall a great night.

A great dining experience. Waiters were the right amount of attentive. Serving size is larger than expected and the food quality is appropriate for the price.

My husband and I always come here for special occasions especially for the kangaroo dish. Unfortunately the last few times haven’t been the best experience with the food. We dined here last night for our anniversary and I was excited to see the kangaroo back on the menu . Unfortunately my kangaroo was over cooked . I asked for rare as it should be and I got medium to well done . I couldn’t eat the well done part . My dessert come out and as I was eating it I ate some of the baking paper left on the mousse cake . I did say something to the waitress after I showed her and she did apologise. Not sure if she let the chef know .. When you go out and spend $195 at a restaurant you do expect to get quality food so its rather disappointing when it doesn’t meet your expectations.. We probably won’t be back again which is disappointing because it was always my favourite place to have dinner . I can never fault the wait staff though always friendly and prompt with table serves ..

It’s almost Valentines Day!! This place is a must!!! Amazing place to wine and dine. The FOV is fantastic!! Loved this place. Will come back again!! Offers fabulous seasonal Modern Australian clean cuisine. The best in Adelaide overlooking the Torrens River at night time. Romantic feel to the evening 🙌👌💕❣️

I was entering the southern end of Light Square at 9.45am on 20/7/22 when a Red Ochre motor vehicle drove into the bike lane right in front of me and I had to brake to avoid the vehicle. When I was passing the Red Ochre restaurant a few minutes later, I saw the driver and asked him to stay out of bike lanes and not cut off cyclists. He was extremely abusive and used incredibly foul language. I was polite the whole time and I certainly did not deserve his abuse. I won't be going to the restaurant again because the staff should respect people regardless of whether the restaurant is open or closed. This is definitely not a false review and does not follow any pattern. How dare you imply I lied. To have staff representing your business driving so unsafely is bad for your business' name where safety is so important.

The service was poor but the food was delicious however the place was not romantic more like a bistro style with poor timing and attention. We did not get any side plates for entre and had to use our bread and butter plates. Simply forgot about us!

Great location , but didn't have a good meal. There was a Beef & Burgundy night upstairs , so maybe they got the good steaks which my wife ordered and it was terrible , and presentation was even worse. I ordered Barrimundi which looked great but the speck that came with it was cooked on the same plate as my wife's steak so all tasted the same , grease , buttery with lots of fat and sinew. To top it off I had to dig out a long black hair in my dish. Nasty . Probably the last time in any ritzy restaurant in the city, Port Elliot Hotel anytime, hands down.

Fabulous location overlooking river. Asian influences in menu making for interesting eating. Well balanced flavours. Desert tasting plate to die for.

I loved my main which was the tea smoked duck. ..bloody delicious. My partner had angus scotch fillet steak which he also liked but not the spuds. Service was good, wine was good, dessert was also amazing. Definitely a treat meal out.

First ever visit, impressed with food and service. Highly recommend for special occasion. Totally enjoyed the night, and for me the highlight was the desserts. It is an Adelaide icon, probably expensive by Adelaide standards, but well worth the experience. Thank you to all who served us last night.

We held our wedding reception at Jolleys last Saturday. Wow! Amazing food, wine and exceptional staff! No request was an issue, attention to service and detail outstanding and such an elegant venue. All our guests raved about the food and service also. Our dealings with Gab the function manager were fantastic and we couldn't have picked a better venue. Look forward to re-visiting Jolleys for a meal again soon.

Over priced food, very poor service during a not very busy lunch time, badly timed meal delivery, over cooked steak which was cold by the time it came back to the table from the kitchen with the claim that it was cooked medium rare despite no blood or pink to be seen. At times we sat with empty glasses and dirty plates for extensive periods and was even asked if i required a clean glass when ordering a different wine. Long way to go before I'd call Jolleys fine dining.

Amazing service and food, every dish was explained to me and my partner and it was such a good experience! Defiantly recommend doing the chefs selection of entrees thank you for a beautiful night, would love to come back in the summer with the windows open on the Torrens :)

Service, atmosphere, menu selection, and view are not to be missed. One of Adelaide's longest serving restaurants lives up to its reputation. I recommend it often to guests and friends wanting that something special and memorable.

The setting and view is great as is the interior fitout. However the service was not efficient, drink orders were wrong, we were left waiting for basic requests. The food I had was ok, although others at the table were very happy with wagyu entree and the pavlova was very generous.

A level above the average restaurant, you wont be disappointed but you will pay for the experience, great food, great service, great ambiance, and a great selection of wines .
