Review Gelatissimo Rundle St - Adelaide

Chicca Fumagalli
I needed time to choose the flavours because there were so many that I wanted to try! I ended up having the cheesecake one and chocolate truffle. Omg, they were so yummy! And the portion was good, it made me feel very full. The only negative thing is that the tables outside were not clean, but I have nothing to say regarding the ice cream.

Friendly staff. Many flavours of ice cream and all tasted so good. You can either get a seat inside or in front of the ice cream parlor. It's nearby a number of eateries too. There's ample carpark near the park which is about 150m from the ice cream place.

I do enjoy the gelato flavours I get from there when I am in the area, I do wish that banana as well as Musk flavours were available though.

Not a single staff member had a mask on, one staff member had the mask on his chin not covering his mouth or nose and the other female worker did not have a mask on at all. Didn't feel comfortable being served by either of them so I left the establishment. Disappointed as I do enjoy the ice-cream here normally, staff just learn to be responsible in a pandemic (especially as the people ahead of me they were serving were elderly). Will no longer be returning here, which is unfortunate

Great ice creams! Always worth going to. I particularly like there are lactose free options which are always very tasty!!

If you like gelato, you're probably familiar with this chain. This one was pretty good, however they probably could have used another staff member as it was pretty busy on our visit.

The gelato here is beyond amazing. The servings are also super generous. So pleased with this place. Can see why it's part of the top six ice cream places in Adelaide. Also has soooo many flavours.

YUM! Amazing range of ice cream! My partner and I love walking down Rundle Street while shopping to grab an ice-cream. Definitely a must to try in summer! Can get a little busy at times but well worth it!

This place is a rip off. Smallest servings of ice cream on a cone I have ever encountered. Went to gouger st store as well and same story. For $7 they should be giving out a decent cone.

Amazing flavours and a wide range of gelato to choose from. Very good quality for the price. It was very cheap and delicious. Staff were all friendly

Pretty good ice cream but service is not up to standard. Did not feel welcomed and sometimes it feels like the staff is hurrying you to make a decision even though there wasn't a crowd. Got a 500ml take home yesterday, and one of the staff mentioned that I could choose up to three flavors for that tub. However, after deciding on the menu, another staff who served me, claimed I could only choose two. But that aside, she was very hostile.

With the weather warming up again, it was time to grab a cold treat. Gelatissimo has a great selection of gelati and sorbet flavours. The blood orange is one of my favourites as well as the green tea which I find very cleansing. They do however need to work on their flavours of the month which are always great in theory but fall short as the flavours aren't as rich and tend to taste like additional ingredients mixed in with existing flavours.

I scream, you scream we all scream for ice cream!

This didn't disappoint me. Iv been craving ice cream for days and days. And did it quench my thirst for ice cream? No I think it made it worse. As all I want is more!
Try the delicious chocolate truffle for chocoholics delight or maybe be a bit adventurous and try the unusual green apple flavour which only has you begging for more.
Salted caramel is rich in exactly what it is and peanut butter well that didn't upset me either.
Go taste and let your taste buds decide their fate.
The gelato staff should be called gelato Angels and pricing is exactly what you would expect for the high quality it is.

The Ice cream flavors never disappoint.Perfectly creamy and delicious! The good thing is they always have new flavours which keeps it interesting and are very generous with sampling!

One of my fav places on the planet! Their chocolate sorbet is the best though! I am a very loyal customer

To whom manages Gelatissimo on Rundle st. Get your act together and CLEAN your display fridges and give the interior ice cream containers etc a wipe down. It looks disgusting. There is clearly a lack of professionalism in the staff to appreciate the jobs they are required to do. It also puts a question over freshness of the stock. Go to Gouger street or eat elsewhere.

Amazing!. Best gelati I have ever tasted! The only problem is deciding what flavours to have!!! I will keep coming all year round!

What a treat! Even if it's not gelati weather, I'd go back for more!!!

Amazing!. Ahh Gelatissimo.....always a superb experience. A massive array of scrumptious gelato/sorbet flavours, staff are always bubbly and friendly, in a terrific location on Rundle Street! Highly recommended!

Delishimo!. I have walked passed Gelatissimo on Rundle a couple of times and have always drooled over the creamy looking gelati in the front window. I tried it last night and it was just as good as it looked! Its a little pricey but great if you want to indulge!
I tried the Belgian chocolate and blood orange, in a cone!

Heaps of great flavours but can't go past vanilla and chocolate. Roasted almond is also unique. Hit it up!

During mad March in Adelaide, the Rundle Street precinct is a buzz with people and shops try to capitalise on the influx of people that venture into the city. With the numerous dessert stores along the strip, Gelatissimo is strikingly busy, particularly on a warm night.

My experience with Gelatissimo have never been bad. Good service, tasty gelati and beautiful decor!
