From the moment we walked into the place we were made to feel welcome by the friendly and knowledgeable young women serving.
I chose the Granchio with spaghetti pasta - crab in a garlic and wine sauce. It was amazingly good. I ate everything on the plate and waddled away feeling full and planning my next meal there.
I will be back as soon as I can buy some elastic waistband pants!
Excellent food and service, I had a great dinner and very delicious food. Staff were friendly and welcoming with a smile. The Pizza was hot and very rich in the ingredients. can't complain.
Best Traditional pizza on rundle Street so far

Service and the staff is pretty good
We just dined at this amazing friendly restaurant and it was a great combination of great food n excellent service. Staff were amazingly friendly n really looked after us. Food n wine complemented well. Will def recommend!!
Interesting to read the other reviews because I had a great dinner there
The food was delicious and a generous serve, I definitely felt I got my money's worth. Ate as much as we could but there was still some left. Lots of variety in the antipasto and the skewers were well seasoned and cooked perfectly
I'm usually not that big a fan of prawns but I happily ate these up
Staff were friendly, can't complain at all
I will say they brought the bread out along with the food rather than in advance like you would expect, but it didn't bother me.
Generous serves, friendly and helpful staff, tasty food. San Giorgio ticked all the boxes for a quick casual dinner! I had gnocchi with chicken and Rose sauce, and my husband had a spaghetti marinara. The gnocchi was lovely; pillowy and fresh. Sure the restaurant may not have much ambience, but we are happiest with full, satisfied tummies!
Wanted quick, simple Italian. Previously dined here so had expectations. Staff were friendly, efficient and helpful. Food was very tasty and exceeded expectations. Pleasant dining experience.
I only dropped by to take away a slice of Mars Bar Cheesecake ($7.50) , which may not be the best indicator of the restaurant's overall food quality. Nonetheless, the cake was as indulgent and rich as you would expect, and would satisfy any chocolate-loving sweet tooth. The staff seemed friendly enough, from my mere 2 minutes of interaction with them. The restaurant looks like it would accommodate large groups well, so I'll keep this place in mind if I ever wanted a casual meal with a group of friends.
I had the spaghetti it was nice I'd score it a 7 out of 10. Girls had the gourmet pizza. Staff are young but helpful. Would come back next time I'm in town.
We were pleased to see this place has been renovated so it was clean and tidy. Greeted by a waitress who was friendly and professional.
We ordered pizza and it was fantastic - fresh tomato, basil, and cheese.
The lunch specials were good but the rest of the menu was pricey.
Will definitely be back though.
Great good and service. I had dinner there last night. The oysters florentine were amazing and the chicken Apollo was really good. Will be going back in a hurry!!!
Grilled Chicken and Vegetables. Was tasty healthy alternative vegetables were tasty was ready in 15 mins service friendly couldn't justify the reviews would recommend it to all crowds including family's
Must have gone on a good night. We had not been to San Giorgio before. I had not read the negative reviews , if not probably not gone. However we had good customer service and we didn't have to wait long for our pizza. As a previous patron mentioned we also had the split pizza and we were charged the more expensive pizza too. There was a $5 difference between both pizzas which is a bit much for $5 surcharge for split pizza. Both were good and nice crust. We were luck i guess with our experience.
Nice warm meal. Nice pizza and pasta. Pasta had a bit too many crab skin thing in it, kept having to spit it out. There was an ingredient in the pizza that made it overly salty. Only bad thing is that there was an annoying fly that kept surrounding our table.
I recently went to San Giogio for a late night feed. I work late hours so I don't get to eat out much. San Giogio, however, offers fantastic Italian pizza to enjoy at all hours, and so convenient! A few nights after my late night feed I got some pizza delivered. The service was great; my pizza was still fresh out of the oven. Yum!
Old favourite. My husband & I often eat here before or after going to the nearby Eastend cinemas. The staff are friendly & I always enjoy the food. I believe they do the best spaghetti marinara in Adelaide. I also like the calzone - a great winter filler. Their other pasta dishes are tasty & the sizes are generous - we often take home doggy bags. Its a good location for people watching in Rundle Street while dining al fresco.
I would definitely recommend this place. Food is delicious, full of flavours! Serving size is decent. the service is quick and good!
Finally had a chance to eat at this beautiful place. Walked passed couple of time few months ago. Really nice food. Good service. Will come back to try others on the menu.
One of the most satisfying meals in a long time. It's really fantastic food and very, very tasty. Great customer service. Even though they were quite busy, they were always smiling and pleasant. It's our 1st choice for dinner next time we're back in Adelaide.
Super brilliant dinner pizza and beer, fabulous staff and great position on the street
Meal was nice but portion size average. Cost was relatively high. Pasta was $38 at time of writing this. Staff were nice and attentive.
Friendly staff, wide variety of menu choices and delicious food.
Love this place. Food is amazing. Staff are lovely and super helpful. 👌
