Saigon Gate - Adelaide - Photo album

We went here last night. They have both Vietnamese and Chinese cuisine. I liked the meals but tall of them were a little too sweet for my taste.
Main Servings are quite stingy for the price compared to other Vietnamese restaurants. Dishes lacking taste and freshness. Disappointed with the Caramelized pork belly in clay pot, it was just full of fats, Slat & Pepper King Prawns lacked the crunchy crisp and spices.
This is a white person’s Vietnamese restaurant catering to western taste. Pretty sure they’re different countries but there are options for ‘Chinese’ and ‘Mongolian’ dishes. The spring rolls were great but would have liked more traditional Vietnamese dishes like broken rice. Pho was okay, nothing to
We eat here every time we come to Adelaide and the reasons are simple, fantastic food, fast and friendly service, awesome prices. Never had a bad meal here. Do yourself a flavour! You see what I did there! 😉 Highly recommended!
Came here for dinner and we split these between four ppl. Main servings were really tiny for the price charged. We were surprised to see how small the pork belly claypot was. Would probably recommend trying the fish with green apple.
The laksa in particular was a tad on the sweeter side. However we needed a small side bowl (eating with a child), and were charged $2 at the counter. We were not told it was charged when the waiter gave us the bowl as we assumed it was free (like most restaurants). When I addressed this they refused
Very good food loving it, will be back again
This Resturant is really really good we came here and ordered the pork belly clay pot and it was amazing I would 100% recommended to a friend. Normally I'm a basic white boy and order the honey chicken but i decided to switch things up and I'm glad I did cause I really enjoyed it.
