Tasty Thai is one of the best Thai restaurants in Adelaide, Excellent food (they give you big portions for what you pay), great atmosphere and to top it off friendly staff!!

Excellent service. Staff was very helpful as I have never ate Thai food before.. and omg... the food is amazing! Especially the “Kao-Soy”. A lot tastier than Laksa! Any laksa lovers should try this.

Love, love LOVE this place! The staff is so nice and the service is amazing too! Love the cozy feeling in the restaurant. And the food is spectacular too, especially the Pad Thai!! Although not a fan of the quinoa they added in the dish, but you can just ask them to remove it! Overall, this place is definitely a must try!

I was in Adelaide for a work trip and Tasty Thai was located quite close to where I stayed. It was a cold rainy evening so I thought Thai food would be perfect to warm up. I ordered Coconut rice and Chilli Crispy Pork and asked for hot, beware because when they say hot it's actually hot. The spice was too much for me but it was my bad I asked for that level of spice. The pork was cooked perfectly and it tasted so good that despite the spice I had to finish my plate.
Very friendly staff and quick service. I kept asking for more water for obvious reasons after the first two times they kept coming to fill my glass which I thought was really sweet of them. Next time I am in Adelaide I am going back to Tasty Thai to try out more food.

Best Thai food my wife and I have ever had. I had the porkbelly curry and my wife had the soft shell crab. It was exquisite. Perfect flavours and proportions served by polite and attentive staff. Cannot recommend Tasty Thai enough!
We have been here many many times. The food has always been one of the best Thai food i have ever had , service is ok, depends on which waitress serve you . I recommend the " Yum Woonsen " and all the curries are quite decent :)
The new menu is fabulous, was delicious at a very reasonable size and price. Definitely improved and will return. Staff were also friendly which was a big improvement
We were after some spicy food and their red curry and chicken satay skewers hit the spot! Loved the little bowl of peanuts as well and the service was very good. The ambience was lovely but the only negative was that it was a bit of a wait till our food came out.
A hidden gem off the main Hindley Street. Great food. Plenty of choice. Fast service but still friendly! Recommended for lovers of Thai food.
We went to this hidden gem on Bank street on Sunday night for a quick dinner. We ordered jook jig noodle, chilli crispy pork and Tom yum goong. Everything was so delicious. Definitely one of the best Thai restaurants in town.
Been here so many times and the food never fails me! Truly authentic Thai food at its finest and the best part is that the dishes are just so tasty (as it goes by that name!) Perhaps a bit expensive but the portion sizes are very decent.
Stopped by here with a couple of friends and got a Tom Yum soup and a Red Curry. Both dishes were surprisingly good! Just the right amount of kick and a great mix of spices. Will have to return some time to check out the rest of the menu.
Dropped in here whilst working in Adelaide. Was a great find! Ordered fish cakes to start. Although a little oily they were full of fresh ingredients plus a spice kick. Very good but not as good as the green chicken curry! I know my order was a bit boring but the taste explosion and generous quantity hit the spot. Excellent service and so well priced.
Thought of trying out this place for sometime now. Ordered some vegetable stir fry in cashew nut gravy and spicy Thai sauce complimented with some coconut rice and some Thai bread( actually like an Indian bread).
The chef did well in adding a lot of vegetables which was great and the seasoning just perfect. Service was alright probably the server could be a bit more knowledgeable.

I had the Thai Beef salad. The food was fresh and tasty. All of the staff including the chefs are all very friendly and always smiling. Service was great and attentive. A happy place to enjoy wonderful authentic Thai food.
I had a Pad Thai Beef todayy and it was an authentic Thai dish !!!! The taste is similar to what i have tried in Thailand. I would recommended this restaurant.
Tom Yum seafood. Finally I could try their thai dish, as I walked pass few times. I ordered a tom yum noodle soup with seafood, which was tasty. The staff was friendly and did not need to wait long.

I work near the restaurant and goes there for lunch about 3 times a week.
I had the beef noodle soup that was on special for the week and it was fabulous.
***** I agree with user "Mamegoma" and must correct user "4chillies" for the beef noodle soup. The beef noodle soup that 4 chillies mentioned to be " gristly meat and sinewy fat", it is indeed beef tendon! Obviously, to make a good beef stock, you would need to put different parts of the meat in order to get well blended flavours. The beef soup is authentic Thai as they actually serve meat with tiny fat on it to enhance flavour and aroma! - That's how thai people eat! If you have been to Thailand before and actually taste the food there, you will notice that this restaurant is doing a very good job in presenting authentic Thai flavours, unlike other Thai restaurants here! Thus, before you make a judgement, please make sure you know exactly what you are talking about..
Their dinner menu is also recommended as the unique dishes they offer much more than other thai restaurant and their speciality in soft shell crab!
The dessert range was amazing! In fact, most of their dessert are very unique and were freshly made, just like a dessert shop. Their sticky rice and mango was marvellous as the mango was fresh and the rice was softly cooked with rich indulging flavours.
Also want to mention that last Friday, I went with a couple of friends to have dinner. We finished our bill for about $289.50 and were charged $1 for credit card. I think that 1$ for credit card is not a big deal as you would get charged at other restaurants anyway. Even TELSTRA / OPTUS have 1% charge for credit card, regardless of whether you are on business account or normal...

Aye Aye Tasty Thai!. Just happened to be strolling by and decided to check this place out. Doesn't look much from the outside but once inside, it is beautifully decorated and furnished. They have a great lunch deal for $10 and we definitely took this deal! I ordered the Pad Mee and my friends ordered the Thai Green Curry and Pad Thai. We didn't have to wait long for our meals that were freshly cooked and generous portions. Everything looked and tasted really fresh and tasty. I highly recommend this place as the food is great and the staff are friendly and attentive. They are also open for dinner too. I liked it so much, I am going back again today!
Good food, friendly staff and reasonable prices!. Excellent service, the staff are extremely friendly. I came in once during the after-lunch lull (3:30ish?) and both the older staff (owners?) were extremely accomodating. It was the first time I had been there, and they took the time to explain the sizes, the meals and even allowed to to order off the menu/change my meal to my specific liking.
I went back again the next day during their lunch rush and I noticed their quality of food is consistent. Nice, bold flavours at a cheap price. Fantastic lunch spot if you work down that end of the city.
Nothing extraordinary, but good food at a reasonable price and accomodating staff makes this restaurant worth a visit.
Nice. I had to correct the previous comment by 4chillies, as I feel that the comment was unfair to the restaurant. I also had the beef noodle soup as well, the sinewy fat mentioned wasn't actually fat it was beef tendon. You can ask them not to put tendon in your beef noodle. Overall I find that their other stir-fry dishes were better than the beef noodle soup. Their service was always friendly.

Staff were friendly and take away food was quick. Phad Thai was only ok, lots of noodles. Nice enough to provide chilli sauce for free on request but not the chilli hit I was hoping for.
Busy during lunch, but ok to get a table when entered. Needn’t wait long for food. Staff were nice. Ordered “pad kra paw” (basil beef). $11.90. Not bad.
