Sushi Bar Genki - Adelaide - Photo album

As an old customer, I must say that I am rather disappointed with the new management. Diminished menu selection, mediocre sushi quality and odd furbishment choices are just the beginning. On the bright side, they kept some sushi plates from the previous era for us to reminisce the good old days.
Staff looks dead. Food quality pathetic. Why put all sort of sauces on the sushi? Who does that? Guys just go to sushi train or Kintaro. You get much better food with the price.
The environment is lovely but I think some dishes were not cooked properly. My sister and I had a dinner here tonight and now she is having stomachache and diarrhea. Maybe a good way to have food then lose weight??? Staff were very friendly and hard-working. Do not order fried chicken - it's tastele
Not much options on food menu. Not enough deep fried or main course to choose. The only acceptable food is the salmon n scallop but portion are not much either. The rice didn't taste like sushi rice and no vinegar taste inside. Every dishes are similar and not much suprise or special. Decoration
Upper glass sushi train really, and parking I city always hard, but prices are fair and service is fast! And it seems to be high quality ingredients which is a plus and sets it apart from other sushi train establishments
Changed a lot from before. Terrible sushi I never had, not much choice from the menu, lots of the genki signature food had disappear, no more ramen or rice bowl. If you order from the menu, they actually tell you 70% of item sold out, so funny, what’s the point that you made a menu but nothing can c
This place used to be great! Best ramen and udon in Adelaide. But ever since the reopening, I walked in and was disappointed to see that hot meal items were no longer available. And only one cup allowed per pot of green tea?! (You’re not allowed to share a pot with friends) That’s a little ridiculou
I must say maybe it’s a bad idea for the new owner to use exactly the same name and logo of previous restaurant. Customers come in expecting Genki signature bento and noodle will be disappointed. But all the sushi uses the best quality ingredients.
