The best pasta and great specials. Friendly service too. Tried the lasagna and other pastas. Bread served was warm and serving size was not too big or small for lunch servings.

All day breakfast: 4.5 I love it! Crispy bacon, sautéed spinach and mushroom are really good. 2 slices of Homemade bread are served, GOOD.
Pancake: 3.0 not too bad, not fluffy, but overall is good. Maple syrup make the bottom of the pancake sticky and soft.
Cappuccino: 4.0 very rich milk foam wig choco powder, great coffee
Latte: 3.5 smooth texture which is good.
Too early to find an opened restaurant for breakfast in ADL. Finally found this place at the end. Tried scrambled egg with a lot and Pancakes! The all day breakfast was so nice especially the mushrooms and bacon! The pancakes was perfect match with the berries jam and cream. I don’t usually eat berries jam but this was so nice!
Nothing quite feels as welcoming as the sight of Ebenezer Place early in the morning on a weekend. Nano has been on our to-eat list for a while now, and so we headed in for a relaxing breakfast.
We ordered two long blacks (nothing starts off the day more right than a nice long black) and a chicken, mushroom, and cheese toasted focaccia, and whilst we waited, we soaked in the laid back atmosphere of the place.
The sandwich was satisfying, and the serving size was quite decent. The mushroom and cheese worked very well together, and the bread had a nice herby scent to it.
The coffee had a nice rich crema, and was a touch on the acidic side - nothing to write home about.
We'd definitely love to come back for some more of the breakfast items.
Well the food are nice, can't complaint. We came on breakfast time, we had prosciutto foccacia and scramble egg with sausages and toast. Everything are nice and fresh, also the orange juice. The service was prompt and friendly..love the ambience as well.
Great place for breakfast, brunch or lunch. The perfect location to catch up with business or uni colleagues. Central location and good menu with plenty of options. Service can be stretched when busy but other than that this place is worth a look!

What a gem of a place... Such a delight for the lunch crowd. My absolute favs are the eggplant parmigiana sandwich and mushroom pizza. Their fresh juices are also good with no sugar added...

Ducked in for a quick lunch with the wife.
Food: The puttanesca pasta was well seasoned and packed with olives. Got a little bit heavy towards the end however still enjoyable. The prosciutto nanostick was crispy and delicious. Ordered a flat white and it was standard.
Ambience: Patio style dining, great for a sunny day.
Service: Friendly and efficient. Wait times for food are variable, 10-20 minutes.
Tips: Food is great for a lunch break. Head across the road to Exchange Specialty Coffee if you need a caffeine hit.
If I had to eat lunch at one restaurant for the rest of my life, Nano would be my first choice.

Met a friend for lunch and really enjoyed the simple, honest food. I had a nice big bowl of pasta, a freshly baked roll and a glass of red. Does it get much better than that? Well, yes! The food coupled with the friendly service made this a very pleasant visit. Would go back :)

They primarily do things like pizzas and pastas but they are no ordinary pizzas and pastas.
The food in the display window is usually sold out quickly, being a common eatery for lunch through the week among people.
It's a simple, laid back cafe, but it will no doubt leave you wanting more.
Popped through here 2 years ago. Made an impression so I came again and loved it. Menu is great and the food delicious (for breakfast and lunch). Really fast service caters for bikes, walk-in - everyone. Coffee needs a bit of work but the iced latte was good.
A good, quick lunch option in the city. Nano offers simple, tasty food, using good quality ingredients, there's plenty of space to sit for awhile and service is friendly.
My husband and I came here for a light brunch. We're in Adelaide on holiday. We had a doorstop, nano stick, tuna salad and a coffee. All were FANTASTIC! We even took more nano sticks back to our apartment for a late lunch. We will be back.

Coffee there is absolutely great. It becomes my pod supplier nowadays. Tried the pizza there, and great job! I will say if u got a chance, worth going for a lazy morning, or just grab a coffee in work, and it will light u up!

I've been a fan of Nano's since they were a small establishment on Hutt Street (many years ago now). This is a family run business where customers have always been welcomed as if it's into the family home.
It had been quite a while in between visits but the zeppole and the egg & prosciutto nano stick (a addictive focaccia style toasted sandwich) tasted just as good as a remembered. The coffee here is great too.
Nano's is the perfect place for a quick but tasty lunch. Even more so when the sun is shining and you can nab an outdoor table under the awnings. My go-tos are always the Nano sticks, slightly smaller but still satisfying foccacias filled with all sorts yummyness. Current fave is the ham and green tomato.
Affordable selections of food and mostly tasty. Good coffee using D'Angelo coffee beans. However ordering a coffee could be long wait. A few times that i waited for 15-20mins for a coffee.
Nice area in the middle of city. Very close to Rundle street and easy to find car park on Grenfell compare to any other cafes at city. Car parks at Grenfell are usually 2P. Good coffee served. Good food - door stop is a must try but it always run out very quickly. The wraps and pizza is excellent too. The service is so fast - almost like fast food but healthier and tastier version of fast food. Homemade donuts are to die for - zapole. The donut is so fluff and yummy. Doesn't taste oily at all, sugars over the top is just enough - not overpowering. Staffs are very friendly and helpful. Definitely going to back so often to be VIP!! :)
UNBELIEVABLY DELICIOUS!! As an Italian I have high standards for good Italian... Nano don't disappoint. Reasonable prices for decent serves, great customer service and a good venue for people watching. Highly recommended for a lunch time dining experience
I love nano! The food is so flavoursome and well priced with a wide selection of traditional Italian food with a modern twist. Clearly a family owned business which is shown with the warm and welcoming service. Highly recommend!!

Good brekky, nice ambience, great service!. Went here today morning with workmates for brekky. Ordered the fried eggs with home made roll with spinach & mushrooms with orange juice.
Other mate ordered the egg & bacon foccacia with cappuccino. All dishes were pretty good and were served in time. Customer service was really good, friendly and courteous.

Customer Service. I went here last week early in the morning. We waited quite a while for our breakfast. When I asked, the waitress said she would check, but never came back to tell us. Instead the two staff just worked behind the counter and looked very sheepish. I went up again and asked if it had been forgotten. It had. It happens, but the best way to rectify the situation, tell the truth and apologise. That is all that was needed rather than ignore. A good place, food is fine but please don't treat your customers like fools.

Get off Rundle St. If you don't have a desperate need to be seen on Rundle St and would rather have good, honest, delicious food served by professional and efficient staff then this is the place. Breakfast or Lunch I have never been disappointed and the coffee is always good. The location and atmosphere simply add to the simplicity and comfort. Lovely place to spend a morning or afternoon.
Bravo Nano!. The worst thing about Nano is once you've discovered it, you wont tend to try anywhere else! I love their Napolitana pizza. Such a simple dish but it's absolutely delicious every single time. Nano's is also home to the best Iced Coffee you will ever try. Don't just take my word for it. There's usually a line up of customers extending outside the door most lunch times. It's hard to believe the place was once located in a tiny little shop on Hutt St. With it's trendy and distinctive European feel and consistently great food, Nano's tops my list as the best Cafe in Adelaide.
Scrumptious home style food. Very large portions though. We went there for breakfast and could have shared on dish between the wife, the kids and me. Coffee is really good too and the Iced Chocolate is to die for.

Loved the atmosphere. The big yellow awnings make you feel like your somewhere in Italy itself and it's the perfect place to relax on a cold day. Service was excellent and prompt. Best coffee I've tasted for a long time and well priced.
Mmmm carbs.... Nano is one of those really nice understated parts of Adelaide. When I remarked to my lunch buddy that I felt we'd been transported to Italy, she told me Nano was actually better than her experience of Italy! I must have been in a really romantic mood though - even though it was probably just the effect of awnings outside, everything was drenched in this lovely golden light that made even the left over crumbs look good. Great vibe with simple, restrained and tasty food. Perfect.

Yum! THE place to go for brekkie/brunch. Been there a couple of times, and i must say that their eggplant nano sticks are the best. crunchy and full of flavour. the breakfast platter that one of my friends had were also large-portioned and yum. fresh orange juice available all day. though i must say that their incarrozza holy bread is too salty for my taste.
Favorite. I love the melanzane parmigiana nano stick, and the pasta is surprisingly good, the vongole linguine is better than anywhere else in the city

We had breakfast Nano and highly recommend it. Scrambled eggs and bacon were great and the Italian signature dish with the bacon and egg on toast with Italian tomato sauce. Coffee was good enough to have a second cup. Service was impeccable and location superb. 10 out of 10.

Good coffee, nice outdoor area. Just off Rundle Street in a nice courtyard, this place has great coffee and a nice, large outdoor area. If you need some peace and quiet for a few hours of work, this is ideal. The food is also nice and the staff are lovely.

Unique speciality. This place amazes me. It has an exceptional range of food in the front fridge, and an authentic italian menu board. My recomendations are the chicken nano stick and spagetti vongale (cockles). Possibly the best place in its category in adelaide!!
Quite simply...the best lunch place in Adelaide. What else can I say. Food choice is expansive, price is very reasonable, coffee is superb, staff are courteous.

Nano's has great service, atmosphere a coffee. Unfortunately the breakfast menu is a tad limited, particularly for vegetarians. Poached eggs are a notable omission, with scrambled offered in their place.

Nano is actually an Italian restaurant and I’d love to come back and try the food. It is also a well-known coffee haunt in what Urbanspoon describes as ‘the Rundle Street area’ but I think might actually be called the east end, a schmick but still uni-student-friendly enclave of eateries, pubs and stores which a continuation of Adelaide’s Rundle Street mall.
