This little bistro had a menu with great variety at really reasonable prices.
The service was warm and friendly and the food was prepared very well and was full of flavour.
The Bistro decor is comfortable, basic and clean with a casual vibe.
All in all a great place to stop for a fairly priced and tasty dinner.
We choose the share platter 42AUD. It was big for two people. It had risotto balls, salt and pepper squid, chicken wings, chorizo, cheese, chips and dips. It was really good though
Wheelchair accessible. Accessible bathrooms available
We booked a table for 10 wheelchairs with about 8 non wheelchairs for a Saturday night the Friday before with absolutely no issues. We had a small room that had more than enough space to accommodate us. Staff were attentive but not over the top which was great.
Table service and ability to split bills was a positive.
In terms of food price was typical pub meal price with a great range of meats and your standard bar meals. Personally I got a carbonara which was made without cream and it was delicious.
It was a great easy night out with a large group that we sporadically planned last minute... Which when you are gathered with people in chairs is something that is easier said than done.
I had the fillet steak with mash. Steak was cooked perfect for medium rare and broccoli done just right. The side of gravy was really tasty, I could drink it on it's own.
It was nice sitting outside, got warmth of the heaters, just looking out of the park.
No table service, have to collect own meal from kitchen, tho I can understand why with the layout of the place.
Enjoyable evening. Solid food. Solid place. Good service. Good value. We had lamb choyla, burger and porterhouse Parma. All good. Would recommend.
Quiet pub in Adelaide ! The food was surprisingly tasty! The salt and pepper squid was done well, mainly because it wasn't battered. The chicken bits and chorizo salad was also delicious. The only down fall was the meatballs, didn't really like the taste and the sauce on it was also meh. But other than that, pretty good!
Pubs these days are not just one animal. Their character changes according to when you visit. I've walked past this hotel on a busy evening when the place was pumping and the atmosphere abuzz. I visited for mid week early dinner and the pub was quiet and relaxed.
The salmon with potato leak cake was well cooked and tasted nice. The staff were friendly although hard to find sometimes. Overall it was a good experience.
Let's just say this is the best place in the city for arvo drinks or a quick meal for lunch or dinner.
With great weekday specials it's a must!
Mondays & Wednesday's schnitzels, salad n chips $11 and cheap steak day Tuesday's makes dinner decisions for u.
The quick delivery of services is superb and always greeted with a smile.
Amazing cocktails from the balcony this place does a Devine mojito highly recommend this place for all occasions casual catch ups or business meetings or work drinks hands down one of the most versatile venues catering for everyone.
Good food, nice service, broken toilets. My friend and I went to the Griffins Head over the weekend and we thought the restaurant is pretty nice, we experienced good customer service and we both enjoyed our meal. There weren't very many people there which I thought was odd for a Saturday night but I didn't waste my time pondering on this for too long. My friend had the Char Grilled Lamb Shortloin and I indulged in the Nepalese Vegetarian Curry. The curry was nice, I must say, it wasn't the best curry I've ever had but it certainly wasn't the worst, I was pretty satisfied. My friend enjoyed her lamb, she did mention that it was a tad hard but she still really liked it, lets just say she was thankful for the knife they provided her with.
The only upsetting thing was that the restaurant toilets were out of order which made us a bit worried as we were both busting after our beers. We did notice that there was some toilets downstairs near the bar so we went and used those but only one of them was decent. I was the unfortunate one that had to glance down into the unfavourable toilet and that wasn't a treat for the eyes.
Cold beer and fantastic honest downw to earth food. Great staff very friendly efficient service. I will be eating here for the rest oft stay in Adelaide ( sorry hotel Misses out )
Based on other reviews, we tried the Griffen Burger & weren't disappointed. It's huge (we shared it btwn 2 people) but its loaded with goodies & good chips. Modern interior, friendly staff, aimed at 30-something+ crowd (which we are) so it was a decent stop for a bite & a pint.
Pretty good steak. They messed up our drinks, but were only too happy to fix it. The steaks were juicy and just right (I always order medium). Comfortable setting. The music is ALWAYS too loud, but I guess that's their signature or something?
Had a griffen's beef burger and it was very tasty. Would certainly have one again.
Had the salt and pepper squid and chicken Parmi which we did enjoy! I thought $23 for a chicken Parmi was abit much! The waitresses were really nice too.
...just good pub fare kinda stuff.

Looking for some good pub food, then head to the Griffins. Service was excellent, food arrived quickly and a different type of Happy Hour every day! 😊
Excellent food. Great atmosphere. Prompt service and good prices. They catered to all our food allergies without hassle. We dined as a group of 12 and all our meals came out close together.
Wonderful food with staff happy to go above and beyond to keep the customers happy. This is what is left of Lamb Shanks and an Atlantic Salmon. Nomnomnom!
This place was absolutely amazing. Very accommodating for my kids and I. Staff were very helpful and super friendly!! Cassandra looked after us and we couldn't have asked for a better time. Well priced, good sized portions, and hardly any wait time on the food to come out. Definitely recommend and will definitely visit again.
Nice place, decent food. Not many allergy friendly options on the menu, but a couple of vegan meals and gluten free.
Food was impressive! I walked in with low expectations as the dining room was nearly empty save for 2 other tables on a Friday night at 7pm.
My friend had risotto with scallops and lime which tasted fantastic and had a generous serving.
My rib eye was cooked perfectly, only negative I can offer is that the sauce was poured onto the steak rather than on the side.
Wines were very well priced as well. Would return with others for another meal.
Great place for team event. Snacks were so yum and fresh especially the mozzarella cheese sticks. Staff was really good.
Food was delicious and the cocktail jugs were amazing.
