Review Jamaica Blue Myer Centre - Adelaide

SIBEL YIL.
Mouth-watering caesar salad and latte This place is now at the top of my "best cafes in Adelaide" list. Not only do they have delicious food and drinks, the design and furniture choice of the Cafe and the friendly staff create a very comfortable and friendly atmosphere where you can relax and enjoy your food comfortably. One of the best coffees I've had in Adelaide, signature blend is my favourite but also looking forward to the next seasonal blend. Can't wait to try the new blend 😁

Lovely service and staff… but eggs are over cooked, food was cold, bacon had bones in it? Wouldn’t recommend this dish. eggs benny are better. Wish bacon was cooked more and better quality. Bit over priced. Long wait times if you just want a coffee, they forgot to make my coffee twice when I got it for a takeaway.

Acoustic rating 3/5. Noise levels made conversation possible albeit with a little extra effort in listening and speaking louder and clearly. It was better than some cafes in this regard but improvements could be made. I would not choose this cafe if conversation was high priority, particularly with people who's hearing is no longer 100%. As for the food, it was what you would expect from your average cafe. Nothing special, quite nice. Service time was longer than one would be happy with but it was busy.

Half our group received their food well before the other half, they finished their food before we’d even received ours! Staff were rude, and not very attentive. Some of the second lot of food was cold once it was finally served.

Amazing place to dine in and have awesomely made coffee as seen in my photo. Cake is sooo good here.

Won’t order again. Not fresh at all. And it’s more expensive compare to $3 Macca burger, way more expensive… not like what’s written in the description.

Excellent food and service. Food was taking a little while to come out but staff was proactive in noticing and chasing up. When the food did come out, it was fresh, well prepared and delicious. Thanks Vin and staff for a great meal!

Wonderful customer service, owner is extremely friendly & helpful. Breakfast food was delicious especially enjoyed the coffee. Will be back again, beautiful brunch space with a lovely view of rundle mall from above

Lovely atmosphere and staff however the food portions are so small so you end up having to order something extra on top of a main meal or go hungry! I would recommend this place for coffee and cake but not a meal.

Been there quite often and always positively surprised by the kindness of the staff, how quick the food is made and how yummy it is. Always a great start to the day!

Regular customer going there for a coffee in my lunch break. Love how the coffee comes with a small cookie! Their small coffee is like a standard medium coffee hence it’s $4. But I just like the location and you can see people walking past the mall. The little cafe is always packed when I go there. Staff are friendly. Will keep coming back!

I just love the view where u can see people come and go and the warm environment there. The decoration and the light of the store are also great. The food was just ok. At the time when i came they have a promotion of spending $20 to get a tea towel. i spent more than $20 however the cashier didnt give me anything until i asked them. Beside that, I will deffinitely come back with friends next time

Service was quick and workers were friendly. Went for a late lunch around two o'clock and ordered the breakfast hash brown with a lychee soda. So delicious. The breakfast hash brown made with a potato cake at the bottom with spinach, tomato salsa and three slices of bacon and two poached eggs (done right). The soda is amazing; a real refresher for warmer days.

A variety of seating available from standard tables and chairs to coffee benches and seats overlooking the mall. I really like that there is a isolated corner at the back of the cafe overlooking the mall where you can sit and eat away from the main area of the cafe where people are coming in and going out.

Excellent service, a very great breakfast menu, would recommend coming here for an easy brunch while in the city. Located right on top of the Myer centre to provide an interesting view!

Another good restaurant in Adelaide! I tried this restaurant in Melbourne before but it wasn't this good as in Adelaide. Very good location as well as it's in shopping mall: convenient to go shopping right after.

Been there many times, very convenient in the Myer center 2nd floor and I enjoyed the cookies, flat white and a piece of cheese cake. All tastes really good, smooth and not too sweat cheesecake. Suggested!

Came here for an impromptu breakfast with friends and the friendly staff made it ever more memorable. Their chai lattes and cute cookies are a highlight for any occasion. I would recommend their pancake selection and quiche as it is the most bang for your buck. Their vegetarian breakfast set is also worth tipping my hat to as the pesto is nice with a smooth flavour.

When it comes to delicious food and coffee, Jamaica Blue Myer Centre certainly know how to please. Like all good businesses, their menu gets updated to keep things interesting. Adelaide Food Central was recently invited to sample some of their new Winter menu. All drinks and food were provided free of charge.

I was here with friends once and had a chicken Caesar burger. It was okay, the bun was a little too tough and eventually I gave up chewing, my jaw was starting to ache. The rest of the burger was spot on though, so I basically ate a salad, and left the buns on the plate. Coffee was good though, there wasn't much service to speak of overall.

I've come here several times now for coffee and catch ups with friends, and every time the food has been great and the service superb.

Today my friend ordered the chicken and mushroom crepes, which came with a side of salad. The crepes were very soft and melted in your mouth, the only criticism my friend had was that they were perhaps a little bland, though that was easily fixed with some salt and pepper. The espressos at Jamaica Blue are great, a really flavourful extract of coffee.

As I mentioned before, the service I've experienced has always been of a high quality - the servers are always so friendly and personable, nothing there to fault. Will definitely recommend as a place for breakfast and coffee!

Love their chai lattes. Admittedly, I do like mine sweeter than some, but I think if it's called a latte it shouldn't have the bitterness of a tea. Vegetarian breakfast is more than passable, and they have a decent lunch menu, too. Free magazines are a bonus!
Feed Me, Adelaide
I must be honest – the Myer Centre is not somewhere that I frequent on a regular basis. In fact, to state it is ‘not regular’ is to somehow suggest that it happens even occasionally. I cannot remember the last time I actually went in there, and so it is not surprising that when I received an email invitation to have a look at Jamaica Blue, I had no idea at all where this was or what it would look like.

Jamaica Blue is a popular local and international franchise that has been around for over 20 years. Their success is based on two simple beliefs; sourcing the best coffee, and using fresh, locally sourced ingredients in their dishes. At Jamaica Blue, there are 3 coffee blends to choose from, which are sourced from the best coffee producing regions in the world. They also have an extensive gourmet breakfast and lunch menu, which has something for everyone.

Was a nice little place to stop by in for a small dessert after lunch. The apple crumble was nice and warm with a dollop of cream at the side, and just the right sweetness. I was kind of expecting the crumble to be a bit crunchy though, but the dish was still nice regardless. Service was friendly, may stop by another time when it isn't too busy to try out more.

Second visit: Went for lunch this time. Ordered the Chicken and Mushroom Crepes, partner ordered Fish and Chips. Also had a white hot chocolate.

Unfortunately, the crepes weren't really to my liking - it was OK to eat, but not something I'd eat again. The chicken was a tad dry, the crepes were a bit stodgy, and a bit more salt was needed. For the portion side, it was also pricey for what it was - would expect this to be a more $10-11 dish rather than $14-15, especially since the crepes were already premade.

Since I was still hungry, I ended up stealing some fish and chips. Fish was appropriately crunchy - no seasoning added to it, but that is fine given it was accompanied by tartare sauce. Chips were also crunchy, but just a bit too salty(!).

White hot chocolate was good, nice and frothy and creamy. If we come back for food in the future, I'd probably stick with dishes that have to be cooked up in the kitchen rather than reheated.

I have been here for coffee several times which is always good. Good range of cakes to go with the coffee. They have a good range of drinks. I haven't eaten here but when the food has come out it always looks good.

Avo sad face smash. Came in after buying a bottle opener

Left deflated, defeated, destroyed.. Okay it wasn't that bad but the avocado on my smash defiantly was.

Aesthetically pleasing but other than that not a whole lot of redeeming qualities.

Good place for a good coffee and to hang out. Yes, the blue coffee is pricier than regular coffees, but it's a real treat once in a while!

Good food, coffee, service, decor, music, prices and location. This cafe checks every box! My new favourite cafe in Rundle Mall.
