A BIG Thankyou to all the staff for helping to make my Mums 70th Birthday an amazing celebration. The food was 10/10 all the meat dishes were generous portions and everyone loved them. As a vegetarian I really appreciated the delicious Greek salad full of feta and yummy ingredients and the chef was happy to top it off with my requested fried haloumi. Will definitely be back now I know how great this restaurant is!!
Had a lovely meal here, hadn’t been for 30 years so thought would come back again. Service was great, I had the Roast Pork Scotch Fillet, meat fell apart and the crackling was amazing. Meals were generous in size, nothing too fancy but just good wholesome food.
Thanks for all of those lovely ribs today. Do you remember the little boy who told you that your ribs are the best? That was me! And I also had a great time and a great day with my family. Your ribs are better than Hooters on the Gold Coast & in Sydney! Thanks from Mitchell (7 years old)
Fantastic highly recommend this place.
Another tasty meal at the Pink Pig. I had the pork medallion which was really good and another in our party really enjoyed their beef mignon. The rest shared the ribs which were a massive hit. Good service even though it was a very busy Saturday night

If I could I would give this place 6 superstars! Top-notch service and even better food! Yummy!
Amazing food and service for our daughters Christening today. Couldn’t be happier. Everything was perfect as usual.
Amazing service and the food was fabulous!!!! Possibly the nicest beef and reef I've ever had!!!!! Hubby loved the ribs!!!!
Service was fantastic and food was delicious Those ribs were to die for. Yummy
Very good food and fantastic service, went there for works Christmas Lunch, highly recommend
My hubby loves meat and we have been here a couple of times over the years. Came here again with the big fam. Their ribs and chicken wings quality is never disappointing. They got a variety of salad and veggies options. The only thing is that their price keeps going up especially in the past year. Staff is friendly. But will definitely comes back thou!
Fantastic! It’s that simple on arrival the place was busy and the service was exceptional. Started with signature house ribs simply perfect and calamari. As mains Pepper steak 500g cooked perfectly the flavour out of this world
I’m am ashamed that it’s taken me this long to eat here considering this establishment has been open for so many years. You want a night out with a group book this place
Pleasantly surprised is the best way to describe this North Adelaide institution. A boys night with 5 hungry chaps, we rocked up on Friday night fearing the worst. But, starting with the trio of dips and pita, crispy whitebait, salt and pepper squid, yummy pork belly and some ribs we were off to a flying start. Predictably, we all had steaks. Mine was a perfectly cooked, melt-in-the-mouth eye fillet with pepper sauce. Others reported favourably on the scotch fillet. There’s an excellent wine list with a cellar reserve list of older, grander wines. We had the 2005 St Henri Shiraz, amongst others I must confess. Wines, we were told, have been stored in a cool cellar since purchase. Service was exceptional too. So, cast aside your prejudice, because although the place is undoubtedly dated it is far from passed it.
The service was very good. Friendly, fast and very personalised.
The platter of ribs and chicken wings was huuuge. The sauce on the ribs was amazing and the chicken meat literally fell off the bone. While I didn't eat the barramundi, those who did said it was amazing too.
Excellent food, service, atmosphere and value for money.
I highly recommend The Pink Pig.
This was our second visit and we will definitely be coming back again.
Food was a hit and miss here.. The ribs are always good. Moist and flavoursome, but the steak and chicken is sometimes dry. Atmosphere is enjoyable.
Great food. Friendly staff and service. Well priced. Ticked all the boxes. Will definitely return. Kids meals very good portion sizes and great value. Surprisingly tasty chargrilled seafood as well
Came here a few weeks ago for the very first time and I loved it! Service was excellent. The waiter was incredibly nice, made great food recommendations, knew what he was talking about in terms of food and wine. Came with two families and everyone absolutely loved the food, the serving sizes were MASSIVE. The taste of each meal was amazing. Cannot complain at all. Even better, the pricing was so good and worth it considering the amazing food we got. Can't wait to come back!
If there's ever a restaurant to defy the need to evolve and change with the trends it's the PInk Pig. There signature dishes of ribs and wings haven't changed in decades and why would they need to? Hats off to them for knowing what they do well and making an institution of it.
Vego's steer clear!
Pork ribs, beef mignon and chilli chicken wings were the best orders. Fall off the bone & finger licking good. Tender & tasty. Lamb was rather tough, weak tasting tzatziki sauce. Rather expensive although the food was good. Friend commented that it was like overpriced Hogs Breath quality food. Would only come here with the entertainment book gold card
GREAT!!!. Great place to eat!!!!! Eaten there many a times and never had a bad experience to date.
I want my baby back, baby back, baby back, baby back ribs! I liked that part when I ate the ribs, looked sexy in my bib.
Well well what a delight we ordered ribs, rustic frys and devil led chickens wings to share and it was enormous and so good - the hot sauce accompanying the ribs was a ripper- we made 'pigs' of ourselves. Amazing service and they still bib u up before u tuck into your ribs. We will return.
Nice food but over priced. Dined here last night with a group and found the Pink Pig to be on the verge between a like & don't like. The 500gm organic scotch fillet was cooked to medium rare (just how I ordered it) and did eat well however the "seasonal vegetable" (couple of small potatoes, carrot & zucchini) were lacking. To my mind this dish was considerably over priced at $45.00.
Granted, there were few complaints about any of the meals with the exception of the chicken breast which was commented as being dry and chewy.
As with most restaurants these days the atmosphere is somewhat ruined by the noise. The Pink Pig is no exception and unfortunately it is loud.
I've given this place a "like it" however I doubt if I will return soon. The taste of the food was good and service reasonable but the prices are just too high end for a middle of the road restaurant.
The urbanspoon price guide needs to be revised to "meals between $30-$45".
Surprisingly Good Food and Service. Had to review this reataurant after most of the previous reviewers bagged it. They must have gone to a different Pink Pig as the place we went to was very good.
Quick pleasant service (was busy a Saturday Night).
Mains came out together and sooner than expected.
Good size serves and nicely cooked.
Everybody at our table was happy (8 people).
Not cheap but not over the top either.
Would go again.

You can't not go to this restaurant if you're in North Adelaide. You certainly won't miss it either, there is a gigantic pink pig on the outside of the restaurant. It does look a little tacky on the outside, but the inside had been renovated. It extends out to the back where you can easily hold a private function.
