Review Cafe Brunelli City - Adelaide

Louise Shines
I went here with my mum last night on her recommendation for dinner as she'd been before and I'm glad I did. Very nice atmosphere inside and the service was great with friendly staff. We sat in a booth which was lovely and spacious. The food was exceptional, I'd definitely have that again. A great place to come to.
Super Kiwi
I've walked passed so often and finally had the chance to visit. (Middle of the fringe season, so I was kinda lucky). Before I ordered I looked at the reviews and wasn't sure what to think. My review won't help either. In reality it's a 3 star review, pretty basic menu at pretty high prices, good drinks selection. Good atmosphere, and I gave it an extra star because we were served quite quickly in the crazy period. We had 2 small pizzas, a glass of wine, a glass of coke and a beer $74. Was the pizza perfect? No. It wasn't bad, but there are nearby restaurants who sell bigger and better for less. Thank you for a lovely night, will have to pop by for more wine and maybe some chips (they looked so good, I wish i ordered some)

We have walked past this cafe many times, but finally found the right day to stop in. The staff were pleasant, the food was amazing and the atmosphere was lovely. We stopped in on a Tuesday lunch time so it wasn't too busy or loud. Service was quick. We ordered a large pizza and a side of sweet potato fries, which was plenty for the 2 of us. I had a smoothy and my son had a milkshake. Reasonably priced and centrally located. I can see why this place gets busy. We will definitely be back. This will be our favourite pizza place from now on.

The big breakfast was awesome. Was worth the money. Tasted SO GOOD, I am so full right now. Nice service with a smile. Recommend it

This has been my go-to place for eating delicious margherita pizzas however, the margherita pizza I ordered very recently was nowhere near what it used to be. Not only it had too much cheese that hadn't melted but also, it was burnt. The recipe appeared to have changed slightly as well and the guy who took my order came across as rude. Overall, I am very disappointed for the price I paid only to be served a burnt pizza. I'll have to look for a new pizza place.

Bad pizza. Like a $4.95 one from Domino's. Hardly any topping and not properly cooked. You would expect a better pizza over here. Went back for another try in January 2022 and this was even worse. Rotten salad. Really black. Even the replacement they gave us after complaining was rotten. Glad we didn't get food poisoning.

I went here with my 7 year old daughter and there was a large variety of different options, along with some great daily specials. The food was super good (according to my daughter), the servings were generous and the staff were very professional. I will certainly be back, i had the steak sandwich and my daughter had the spaghetti bolognese.

Order took forever to arrive... they kinda just forgot about it. Even after asking about it (we waited ages and so many people who ordered after us were already served) they still took forever. We could even see them in the kitchen talking and gesturing at our table but still no food. In the end it tasted okay, but the service low-key sucked.

I came for a friend's 21st and was well looked after. The food portion was humongous I love it totally recommend to dine here again

Great meal and cocktails, had a great night here, highly recommend brunellis on Rundle street for a fun dining exeperience, and the staff are an absolute joy to be around :)

We used to be a regular at Brunellie Glynde. One of the reasons we like there is Mick ! Now he is gone and we’ve been there twice after his gone bit disappointed, however we saw Mick in the city and had a great dinner tonight in the city Rundle Street and we are only coming here now as he is the soul of the restaurant!

Absolutely beautiful meal, weren’t disappointed at all ! Will recommend to friends & definitely go back again

We loved it.. the food and the service was fantastic. A great way to finish off the weekend. Thanks Brunelli and to to your fantastic staff starting with Mick...!
Alysha Baldock
Appalling service. My friends meal was served and eaten before mine even came out. Staff were so rude, will NOT be returning!
Lynn Taylor
Enjoyed an amazing BIG Breakfast cooked & served beautifully staff efficient & friendly. Can't wait to try lunch & dinner in the near future!

It was perfect for a family meal. Portions are generous and the food is tasty! Great service.

Seriously bloody awful anniversary dinner here tonight... The staff are disinterested and couldn't even muster a polite smile, except one lovely lady who obviously could see the rest of the staff weren't serving us (she's the 1 star) The bruschetta was flavourless, lacked any kind of love and care. I got the wrong salad and the replacement took 30 minutes. ... no apologies We sat outside surrounded by no smoking signs, when my husband asked the waitress if people could smoke she said no but they do anyway and walked off.... Would've been better value and a nicer experience burning that $100 .... very disappointed

Service is bad. We were welcome in but we had to grab our own menus and water and high chair. What we ordered the food was pretty average. They do have lots of sweet options and plenty of seating but those are the only positives I can say
FooDee
A solid choice for work lunches. Over the years I’ve tried a variety of dishes on their menu, from pizzas, burgers, pastas, salads and they have all been generally consistent. Cafe Brunelli has been around for years, so I guess they are doing something right. <br/>Their coffee is really good, and for those with a sweet tooth, they offer a good selection of cakes and other sweets bites.
Victor Reddington
Why bother with putting a man V pasta challenge on the menu when not serving it. As a way to get people into the door I guess?<br/>Well, that's pathetic.
Dan Schmidt
thankyou for accommodating my family on a busy night as walk ins;<br/>Great food and service. Meals were served quickly and we had plenty of time to make our show in town. The homestyle meatball bolognaise was excellent!

We were traveling from Melbourne to Adelaide on Christmas Day and this is the only cafe that are open on Rundle St besides the 24hrs hungry jack at the corner.<br/><br/>Food quality and taste wise we would say average but generous portion. <br/><br/>Quite spacious venue. It’s a order at counter service. we were requesting for high chair upon arrival by was told there was no high chair available because the place had just been renovated. While we were having our meal we saw another wait staff gave highchair to another customer. <br/><br/>
Amelia Craig
Cafe was in disarray with other customers looking confused and hungry. We received very poor service... didn’t even get to order food before we left for another cafe.
Sarah Katherine
Eaten here twice. Once sober, once drunk. Interestingly enough it was probably better (Cheesier) the time I was sober? Both times involved sharing a pizza and I must say there’s things to like. The toppings are generous and the crust is crisp. I just think Brunelli tries to offers everything under the sun and doesn’t really have a kind of “food soul”. I get that it’s 24/7 but still.

Worst service! Went up to the register to order and I noticed they had entertainment book. Not only were they not able to find their own entry in the app but they also charged me the listed price for an entree sized meal. When I questioned her she said it’s actually a different price and the one in the book is the entree price. Never had such bad customer service and useless staff.
Ali Beach
Quick and polite service provided by helpful staff. <br/><br/>Partner had chicken schnitzel with chips and gravy. Good portion size, but very bland. <br/><br/>I had the spaghetti marinara. Again, great size portion, but seafood was over cooked, and dish didn’t taste very fresh. The large strips of squid were too much. <br/><br/>Not amazing value for money.

We visited this place at midnight, honestly I don't know why the ratings are low it's a pretty decent joint, the ambience speaks for itself, imagine your in Italy on those stone cobbled streets and you walk into a cafe with wooden chairs and numbered tables its pretty obvious, not all Italian cafes are fine dining. The food is not that bad either I had a paella which was a good serve only they went a bit too far with the saffron which I rectified myself by ordering some chili flakes on the side,so yes that could be improved, but the pepperoni pizza was beautiful, I loved the cheese pull the meat on top and the spice jalapenos. The only two things I had an issue with is that there was too much noise from the kitchen since it was past midnight and only two tables were occupied so the kitchen staff was having a a gala time and second being the prices, was a bit on the high end apart from that everything was okay!
Ching
Terrible interior design, I felt like I was at a University dining hall. Overpriced and very average food (we got spaghetti marinara and steak). Very average service. Won’t be back again!
Chef On The Run!!
Staff are friendly.Pretty relaxed place for a meetup.i ordered for seafood millionaire pizza..amd.it was the best seafood pizza i ever had.All seafood complimented well with sauce.Pizza was loaded with creme fraiche.

Came here on a Sunday morning after a nice walk into town from suburbia. We ordered a flat white and a mocha amidst the morning rush of cyclists and other patrons. <br/><br/>Unfortunately, there was a bit of confusion with the order, and we received a hot chocolate instead. Upon clarification, the order was amended with half an espresso shot haphazardly added to the hot chocolate drink, making it incredibly sweet and also unevenly mixed - giving us mouthfuls of coffee followed by mouthfuls of chocolate. The flat white was unremarkable, but quite acceptable.

super nice pizza and super salads i personally like the salads ... and a range of desserts that you can hop . I would like to visit this place any time .. must go place

1/ extremely noisy that our ears were ringing after leaving<br/>2/ main meals served at different times. chef salad and kids meal served within 5mins of ordering, 3rd meal that being pizza took 30mins hence the other people had already finished their meal when 3rd meal arrived.<br/>3/ brunelli pizza was over loaded with cheese and very little flavour <br/>4/ kids meal fish and chips was a tiny wafer thin slice of fish with loads of chips. We never got the activity pack as advertised on the menu
Uberfrauline
Terrible pizza, awful base, cheap seafood, no seasoning, no flavour, barely any nap sauce, no garlic, just thrown on ingredients! Won't return.
James Warner
Honestly the food wasn't that bad. My pasta was quite salty do ended up having to cokes just to get the salt taste out of my mouth. The service was quick so I can't complain about that
Erkawal.89
Worst pizza i have ever tried....very poor customer service...very expensive in return of food quality...they served cappuccino first..when I finished coffee then they bring chips..very bad experience
Josh Hynds
Ordered a meat lover pizza! <br/>Menu says ground beef ham salami and bacon, <br/>Came out with ham and salami (also undercooked) when asked about the other topping was told the menu was wrong and been changed ! Overly expensive priced pub quality food.

Cafe Brunelli is very easy to locate even on the busy Rundle Street. It offers great coffee that is served very quickly and made very well.<br/><br/>I ordered scrambled eggs with mushrooms, avo, tomatoes and toast. Extremely well cooked eggs! Really liked the food!<br/><br/>Only issue was the lack of service. The food took 20 mins to arrive even though there was hardly anybody in the cafe. The waitress was in her own little world and did not even bother coming around to grab my order.<br/><br/>Would have given this cafe 3.5 stars if it wasn't for the service.
Elizabeth
Wood fired is your friend<br/>The pizzas are yum, bases light.<br/>I shared a bruschetta for starters and had the ragu pasta for main. Delish <br/>Service was great and the restaurant has an authentic feel.
Teresa N
I absolutely adore the wood-oven pizzas here, the base is always cooked perfectly and has a nice crunch to it. When I come here, I always order the Fornetto pizza! I really love the flavour combination, and it's a really filling pizza, and you always get that iconic stringy-cheese with each slice! Only thing is, they use to top the pizza with bocconcini, but have not done that lately, and I think that really made the pizza! Overall, love this place!

We had a table of 8 of us and after being welcomed into the cafe we sat down and looked at the menu. We all grabbed a drink from the bar and the bar staff were friendly and attentive. Within 10 minutes of ordering our meals our whole table had been served. The waitresses were friendly and helpful. The food was amazing. Good size meals and very tasty. Keep up the good work team and we will be back!
Feed Me, Adelaide
Looking at my Instagram feed, you would swear that lately all I have done recently is eat pizza and drink beer. Not that there is any issue with that at all. So just to continue the trend, I offer you some words about another pizza place, and this time an old favourite – Brunelli. This wood oven pizza venue has been a long standing go-to, be it for a couple of people and a summer evening pizza, or a work function feeding a few more. They have always done the job, time in and time out.

We called into this cafe bar for coffee & of course I had to notice those amazing sweet treats. Not only were they tempting enough, they had to have those glorious chocolates as well! I settled for a flat white &  chocolates to take back to the the hotel for consumption later. The coffee was passable, but lacked the strength I always crave
TresHungry
This cafe seems to always be open until really late, which is quite rare for Adelaide. They have a cabinet full of tempting sweet treats, but I always had the suspicion that they weren't quite fresh. I decided to try my luck anyway and just grabbed a chocolate cookie on the go one day. Sadly my instincts were correct. The cookie was rather bland and it was super dry and stale.
Patelraj_mech
An excellent lunch with my wife . Extensive menu and great selection of SA wines. I chose the signature dish, Osso Bucco. This was a dish full of flavour, cooked to perfection. My only complaint... a big serve which left me no room for the tantalising selection of cakes!
Ruth
We arrived at the door to enter and we were asked what did we want by the the rude young woman standing guard. Now this didn't bode well, I was tempted to ask her what people usually want when going to a cafe, but I refrained and told her we had a reservation. We were seated and my husband went to the bar to order a drink, he ordered a bottle of ginger beer and a shot of whiskey, the bartender top up the whiskey and was going to keep the remains of the 350ml bottle,my husband asked why given he was being charged for the bottle.<br/>The menu is extensive, but limiting if one is lactose intolerant, everything just about, has either cream or cheese. They will not make modifications to avoid either. I wanted Osso Bucco (house specialty) with vegetables, I couldn't have that because the osso bucco is like bolognase sauce and only served with pasta. I order a chicken Parmigiana without the cheese and can I swap the tomato sauce for bolognaise sauce. I got this Crunchy dried up schnitzel that almost shattered when you cut it, and a tiny sauce boat of watery tasteless meaty sauce. The salad consisted of a large serve of bitter lettuce and nothing else with a hint of dressing, the chips were thrown under the schnitzel and were cold. This meal was just about uneatable. The place is noisy and the staff are rude. Not worth the effort or cost.

I've been here a few times because I live nearby. The food is always just average. I usually either order their Amatriciana Pasta or the Brunelli Pasta which is flavoured with crabs and other things. <br/><br/>I ate here about two days ago, and I swear it is the LAST TIME I ever eat here (unless I'm forced to attend like someone's birthday or something). The service here is EXTREMELY horrible. When we walked in, we weren't greeted at all. No one offered us a menu. But that's okay, it's alright maybe they were really busy (with maybe only 5 or 6 other tables aside from us) so we got the menus ourselves. Ordering our food was self-service so that's fine. <br/><br/>I'm not much of a big eater so I always have to take-away half of my meals. I raised my hand and waved at any worker who would notice me and come to help. There were only TWO waitresses working that day so I thought it's okay maybe they're real busy. But when I looked around, one waitress was cleaning up a table. Another one was chatting with another colleague (pizza maker). Ok fine, maybe it's important.<br/>The last straw for me was when I tried raising my hand again, and I thought I had succeeded because the waitress was looking right in my direction. Guess what, it was as though I were invisible. She looked right through me and waved and said HI to her friend who just walked in behind me. She then began to ignore my raised hand and walked to her friend to talk to her. <br/><br/>Needless to say, I gave up trying to get their attention after that. This horrible experience was enough to make me not want to ever come back here again. I can't believe their management would hire someone who treats customers like that.

A regular to the Brunelli establishment. Have been going there for coffees on a daily basis for years. Always great tasting coffee and service with a smile added with some jokes especially from Nins :-)

Went to brunellis Rundle st this afternoon with a couple of mates to have some Lunch, the menu had way too many options but we eventually went with pizzas! <br/>All I have to say is the young lad did a brilliant job. <br/>Never tasted better! <br/>Keep up the good work 👍
_foodiej
Horrible. First time I went was with a couple of friends and I had their Gamberi pasta. Looked very appealing when it arrived at the table but digging in and eating the pasta was slightly unpleasant - flavours weren't there and NOT only that, the pasta seemed to be store bought! I'm no Italian but I can tell if pasta is handmade or store bought and paying $35 was not worth my money.<br/><br/>Second time going there was today. I swore I would never go again but I thought I'd give it another shot. I was wrong unfortunately; store bought spaghetti for the bolognese once again! The pizza was meh and was a decent size but I've tasted better pizza.

Came to the restaurant for lunch last Friday.  First of all the place was dirty with sticky floors and grotty menus. We were greeted politely and seen to our table. While deciding what to order I noticed a man opening the glass cabinet (containing pre-made lunch rolls) to put prices on. With no gloves on, he was touching all the rolls and walked off several times leaving the case wide open. He kept talking to someone and they had no concern for the people they were blocking trying to either walk past or look at the rolls.<br/>After seeing this, we walked out.  If that kind of unhygienic man-handling is happening in plain view, I hate to think what is going on in the kitchen.  This place used to be good, so very disappointed.

What a disappointment.<br/><br/>Until last night our favourite place to eat after seeing a movie at the Palace Nova.  We have eaten there about once a month for years, but last night was our first visit for a few months because of our circumstances.<br/><br/>First shock was the prices, but we ordered anyway because of the excellent pizzas we have had there in the past.  When our favourite Margherita arrived we looked for the slices of fresh tomato, but all there was was a dollop of not very tasty pesto in the middle of the pizza.  The crispy base was replaced by something you might expect at a fast food chain.  The pizza was doughy and tasteless compared to what they used to serve.<br/><br/>Two loyal customers, now ex-customers.

The food there are decent, coffees are good too. However the front bar attendants are awful and they have a very snooty attitude (perhaps family owned and family workers?). You have to work to get their attention as they are busy talking with each other, turns out you have to go up and get your coffee/drinks-only that the staff forgets to let you know that your coffees are ready! There are many other places to go if your in the city, don't bother with this place!

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. <br/><br/>Went for brother's birthday celebration, and asked the waitress if they had anything special, but she told me they dont do anything special and i should have brought my own cake.<br/><br/>Later on, when i tried to order at the counter, i had to wait a for awhile before there was a service staff at the counter to serve me. The service staff who took my order wasn't even apologetic and extremely unhelpful when i tried asking for recommendations.<br/><br/>We ordered steak and pizza, but both were below average kind of food. steak was tough and the sauce and side of quiche was way too salty. Pizza was like any average pizza (even domino does it better..). I had expected more from a restaurant at rundle st. Also, price of the food wasnt cheap ($30 a dish) and it definitely was not worth paying for. <br/><br/>All in all, it was a terrible experience and I would never want to return again :(

I am never disappointment when eating here. I have eaten lunch and dinner on over a dozen occasions. Food is always fresh, well presented and plentiful. It is always a visual treat and tasty.<br/><br/>The service is always prompt. Staff are friendly as it has that Italian hospitable  welcoming feel ... it is a good sign when staff have been around for years.<br/><br/>I highly recommend this for a quick, yummy, fulfilling meal.<br/><br/>It is also a great coffee and cake stop when in the city or on a Sat night. You will enjoy the experience.
Laura
Awful food! Overlooked pasta in boring sauces. The staff don't care if you don't enjoy your meal. Would not bother - Rundle Street isn't the best for food but this is definitely the worst.
Brandxle
Horrible. Unfriendly and the food was not worth it. Seemed to be a place trying to make a buck more than giving nice food and service. Will never go back.
John
A free side of surly attitude with every meal order.

Worst Service in Adelaide!. I went to Cafe Brunelli with a couple of friends for dinner a few weeks ago. From the start it was obvious that the service was going to be awful. We awkwardly entered the cafe with no welcoming greeting and waited at least 5 minutes at a table to receive a menu. One of my friends queried a waitress on the contents of one of the dishes to which the waitress simply replied..."I'm not sure" she didn't even attempt to answer my friends question. Once we had finally made up our mind on what we wanted to order we made our way to the counter where we were greeted with possibly the most rudest staff member I've ever come across. My friend and I wanted one of the burgers on the menu with a slight change in contents. The lady working at the counter rudely stated "you're a bit fussy, aren't you?" leaving my friend and I very uncomfortable. After we had ordered we sat back down and waited for a long period of time. The food for 3 people arrived at separate times leaving two people including myself watching the other eat while we waited for our own meal. When my meal finally did arrive the waitress accidentally knocked my iphone off the table and fortunately it didn't break but the waitress didn't even acknowledge that she did it and I received absolutely no apology. The food was actually quite good but I can safely say that I will never be returning to cafe Brunelli after such atrocious service. This place seriously needs to reconsider how they run things and conduct their staff.

Great food, crap service!. The food here is amazing, came out fast, but the service was atrocious! Has one of the staff members died here? Because that was the atmosphere I was getting....

No Service !!!!!! Look Elsewhere !!!!!. Went to Adelaide for 2 night' s with my family... We eventually stumbled on this café restaurant (not easy to find many decent looking restaurants here in the CBD )<br/><br/>We thought this would be a decent dinner spot , so we arrived later that evening around 7.30pm<br/><br/>After sitting outside this restaurant for 5 minutes we hadn't even been greeted to be given menu's so we thought we'd walk in and grab our own ! Bad start already !!<br/><br/>Walked back outside and proceeded to look at the menu which had quite a bit to offer but very pricey ( much pricier than Melbourne)<br/><br/>Waited a further 5 minutes and still no waiter had arrived ( 10 minutes all now up waiting ) <br/><br/>Now this restaurant was only about a 1/3 full at this time of the evening , but 10 minutes waiting I consider way too long not to be even noticed.<br/><br/>We kept peeping inside to see if anyone was coming.... It seemed like 2 waitresses were handling the whole restaurant and they didn't seem very concerned when they briefly looked our way..<br/><br/>Ok 12 minutes down and time's up we thought... We're outta here.!<br/><br/>I'm not even sure how this Café restaurant can even command these prices when the service here is just so unacceptable !!

Efficient food service but staff arent too welcoming. Won't rush back. I did enjoy the burger I ordered but I do think it was a little on the small side for the price I paid but it doesn't bother me too much. It was a pretty busy cafe the night I went so I was happy with the quick service from the kitchen. Didn't have to wait ages for the food at all. I think the waiters and waitresses could smile a little more. They all seemed so unhappy! I'll give them a thumbs up in the hopes the staff up their hospitality
Jessica
The staff took wrong order and we were not apolosied but had to wait for long time for them to fix up the error. Bread was not offered to start with either. I ordered brunelli pasta which discribes as crab meat pasta but you will bearly see any crab meats in it and you will find few prawns instead. I have been to this cafe few times and it was extremely disappointing this time. Will never be back.

Staff need an attitude adjustment.. Over in Adelaide for the weekend. Came to cafe brunelli as I was walking along Rundle Mall. The menu was extensive, but a bit pricey. I am holidays so I am willing to pay a bit more. Anyway, my boyfriend and I walked in and there weren't that many customers floating about. All the staff kept walking past us, very awkward. So I asked one of the staff what the process was. So we chose our spot and got our own menus. The menu was extensive. Plenty on offer, although very Italian based but I wouldn't have expected it to be any different. Lots of variety. Ordered drinks, no smiles, no thanks, no nothing... I think the staff forget that the customers actually pay their wages. While I was here I urban spooned the cafe.. Wasn't surprised with all of the unfriendly staff posts. In other words.. If you are looking for a great customer service experience.. Do not come here. If you are just after a feed.. Come here. If you are looking for the entire package.. No dice.

Salty Disappointment. Our dip shared plate was barely eaten because the olive dip was tangy, the spinach dip too cheesy and the taziki uninspired, the bread wasn't toasted and tasted doughy, the overall taste was one of salt. One main course was garlic prawns, again salty, the rice was crispy, the vegies tasted like they were out of a frozen packet and swimming in the salty sauce, again the dish was left. Lastly the other meal was grilled lamb yiros, slightly better option with salad and chips that were edible, the meat lacked flavour definitely not the traditional tasting meat and not the large size the menu promised. The staff were lacking in smiles and too scared to ask how our meals were, presumably because it was obvious we weren't happy with the meals not finished. Don't eat there is my recommendation or you will be looking for something else somewhere<br/>else to get the awful taste from your taste buds.

Mediocre at best. Had breakfast here on a Sunday morning and it was barely passable. Although the price of bacon and scrambled eggs was reasonable at $10.90 I was not impressed that my coffee (a large mocha) was over $5. Firstly I was expected to collect my own drink as they don't bring them to your table... Yet when I went to collect after the buzzer vibrated (feeling as if I was in a takeaway store) I found that my coffee was in a standard sized glass. I politely told the barista that I had ordered a large and he proceeded to tip the unwanted coffee into a (ver slightly) larger cup and top it up with leftover milk! Stunned, I asked him to remake it, to which he replied "well I can but it'll be exactly the same" with a shrug. So my question is, exactly what am I paying for by getting a "large" if not 10ml of extra milk?? Taking my half-ass-made coffee back to the table my meal arrived a few mins later. This was not much better. The bacon had barely kissed the grill and I was unable to eat half of it, the eggs were overdone and quite obviously packed through with butter in an attempt to add some moisture and flavour. And to top it all off the bread was unbuttered (which I don't usually complain about but there was complaint overload on this occasion so I feel it's warranted). Won't be coming back. EVER!

Dinner with a group was all quantity and no quality. Slow to serve, but quick to take food away before finishing. Service was not with a smile. Would not return.
Daveange3
Food ok most of staff attitude shocking. Had lunch there today food ok. Most of the staff very bad attitude so will never return
Loumj
Bad attitudes. Whilst it was good to find a place open late on a week night, and the pizza was nice indeed, I would not return. Maybe it is an awful place to work or something, as I've never seen so many sour-faced, rude staff in one place. I approached the counter in the same polite, respectful way I always do, so the attitude was thoroughly undeserved. <br/><br/>I recalled having breakfast there previously on two occasions, and I can't be so kind about the food on those occasions. My eggs florentine took a very long time to arrive on one of those occasions, and when on both occasions, they were awful.
Olivia Kubiak
Consistently good.. Now, I'm not gonna lie, I've been to Cafe Brunelli a number of times throughout my life and it's not a super fancy restaurant and perhaps the meals don't always come out at the same time and yes, some people serving are nicer than others, but overall, I think this place is consistently good. All their Italian-style dishes are my personal favourite. I came here with my parents, I ordered the Tre Sette vegetarian pizza, mum had the Salt & Pepper Calamari and dad had the 200g Kangaroo Fillet with gravy (see uploaded pictures). We all thought the sizes were extremely generous, which, if you knew my parents, would understand how important this is, they like value for money. The Tre Sette pizza was simple but nice, I was in the mood for cheese, sundried tomatoes and olives so it went down a treat. My only complaint was that when I went to take a piece of pizza, I grabbed the base but the cheese stayed attached to the rest of the pizza. I managed to overcome this and I know pizza's can sometimes do this, I still enjoyed every minute. I couldn't eat it all, but not to worry, dad is always there to help out. Dad loved his Kangaroo Fillet, he ate it all before I could even ask if I could sneak a taste. Mum's salt and pepper calamari was really good, nice and easy to bite through and the tartar sauce was divine. Mum didn't think it was salty enough but luckily enough there was some salt and pepper on the table so this issue was resolved in a timely manner. I like this place, lets be honest, I'll probably come back again

Highly recommend. We make it a habit to visit this restaurant every time we visit Adelaide. Have only ever had lunch and dinner here. Every time is a success. I highly recommend a moreish dessert pizza for fellow sweet tooths.

Stay away. Burnt toast to go with sour faced waitress

Slow service then quick removal. My wife and I joined our son and daughter in law on Mother's Day. Our son ordered a pizza, we ordered a burger. The pizza arrived and was eaten before the burger arrived, then only after asking why the delay. Waitress came soon after to clear the table and proceeded to take away the plate the burger and chips came on before we had finished eating. SO RUDE!<br/>Ian of Yankalilla S Aust

Very disappointing ! Don't waste your money of time for that matter. We Waited 2 hours and 15 minutes for breakfast.! (Eggs Benedict) When it finally arrived my eggs were hard and also found egg shell in them. I understand cafés get busy as I have worked in hospitality for 15 years but if you are going to take that long to bring out food at least let the customer know and make it worth the wait.

Visiting Adelaide and popped in here for a brekky thinking it looked up to producing edible food. That was our first mistake.. After being told to grab our own menus and order at the bar, not only were the staff rude but got the order wrong. I had to grab the drinks myself and bring them to the table after the buzzer they gave me went off.. (Thought this was a cafe not a pub?) they were however nice enough bringing the food out to the table.. Two orders of pancakes & one scramble I like to think I'm a big enough bloke to stomach a pancakes and scramble but alas I didn't order it .. The good was nothing short of cardboard. I corrected the order politely and the manager came to the table to accuse me of not giving the order correctly and shoving $10 at me as a refund. Wish I had of read the other urban spoon reviews on here first!
Rachael
I didn't know that ordering pancakes meant ordering a piece of dry cardboard. Food is cheap and you get what you pay for.
Kris
Worst customer service!!!!! (From one particular lady, anyway) <br/><br/>Lady who served me (wearing glasses behind the bar) was very rude! Firstly, no greetings, which is standard esp for customer service. I know because I also work at a cafe. I waited to be served without a word from her (who was right infront of me) or anyone else walking past me. Secondly, when ordering, she looked like she did not want to take my order. I then explained that I would like my pasta and coffee in a take away cup to come out together, and lady just kept saying 'I know, I know!' in a very rude tone, as if she was so much inferior than her customer's simple requests. Was she mad that I wanted them to come out together? Was not a busy night. Don't know why she was acting in such a disappointing manner. Coffee average, food ok. Would not come back due to rude service. I don't even write reviews but I just had to.

Had pizza there tonight, definitely one of the best wood oven pizzas I've had in a long time. Highly recommended.

Used to be an Adelaide institution where you could guarantee authentic good inexpensive Italian cuisine. Today - Saturday lunchtime before Christmas - it's 7/8 empty. No wonder! The service is mediocre and the food is rubbish. My lunch date had to explain to the chef (!!!!!) what a risotto was! What a disappointment
Ryan
Wouldn't bother. Been there on two separate occasions while shopping in the city thought it would be a nice place to stop in for lunch bad idea. First time the lady taking the orders at the counter was extremely rude should have packed up and left after that, however gave it another shot the next time we were in town, this time after ordering and paying for the meals i went and sat back down only for a young waitress to come to our table a few minutes latter with no receipt apologizing that she had undercharged me by "about 20$ or something". <br/>I thought this was extremely unprofessional how is it even possible to charge the wrong meals and price when your entering it on the computer in front of me and to come to the table with no receipt demanding i pay an extra 20$..... <br/><br/>I seriously wouldn't bother stopping in at Brunelli's on Rundle street ever terrible customer service, seriously just walk a little bit further down the street there are plenty of other nice places to eat in the area.

Delicious desserts with generous proportions! Enjoyed every bit and struggled to finish

After visiting Rundle mall for 'essential' supplies, it was time to sample the offerings of Rundle street. Since arriving in Adelaide, we were yet to experience a good pizza , let alone one cooked in a real wood fired oven. On walking into Brunelli, it smelled good. That was a good sign. The pizza chef looked the part, and commenced to make my order as soon as my order rolled off my lips. We had the Marinara and the Special. They were perfectly cooked and delicious. Finally, real pizza in Adelaide. Might actually decide to stay now!

Chaos. One of the most unusual, awful dining experiences ever. You are pointed to a table and left to figure out where, of the 3 seller ate places they store menus is the relevant one to your time of day-don't ask the staff as they don't know either. You then go back and order. You are given a beeper to collect your coffees, not your food. Don't forget to go back for sugar or spoons as this is also 'self service' you will then wait, in my instance a very long time, for an American style slap dash pile of greasy mess slipped on your plate. Had I not paid when I ordered, I would have left. We did get a complimentary coffee volunteered as the whitest politely acknowledged that they had revived complaint after complaint all morning. The restaurant was at half capacity during this 'mad rush'

Best pizza in town. Went here some time ago. We ordered a margarita pizza and a Caesar's salad. Both were so nice, especially the pizza. Recommended!

Terrible service.... I have been going to Brunelli's for lunch and dinner dates with friends for several years now and I have always enjoyed the food and the experience!! <br/>However this time around was shocking! I went for lunch with two of my best friends and as I was not feeling very hungry I only ordered (I believe its on the entre menu and can't remember the exact name of it) a vegetarian plater which is supposed to come with olives, stuffed capsicum, arancini balls and zuchinni and my friend ordered a salad with bocconcini and added chicken to it.<br/><br/>Not only did my friends salad come out with little much more then lettuce and dressing (although she paid extra for the chicken), they completely forgot my arancini balls. We asked them twice to fix there mistake and they seemed to not know what arancini balls were and brought me out bocconcini served by a very disinterested looking waitress. When I politly told her again she came back with ONE arancini ball and kinda quickly put it down next to me without any apology what so-ever. I realise that this was only an entre and not a main meal but still you would expect them to give you what you ordered on the menu! The wait was so long as well for two simple meals that basically only needed to be chucked on a plate we waited around 40 minutes! <br/><br/>I am so disapointed because I have always loved Brunelli's in town and it is the perfect meet up with me and my friends on our uni breaks! So I hope someone sees this and realises the poor service! I have never written a complaint before but this experience has inspired me too!!

Disappointing service. Came in for a coffee and cake last night. My vienna chocolate was served in a short Schweppes glass which was a little odd. We were also expected to collect our coffees ourselves from the bar. The girl who served us leant on the bar and seemed tired and uncaring. The restaurant smelled like old carbonara sauce and was in dire need of a refit. Will not return.

I was there with my husband on sunday for breakfast. Not very busy we ordered sat down the food came looked fabulous. My husband had a egg and bacon roll was awesome. I had a big breakfast. I don't know what they did but mine was stone cold except for the hashbrowns. I ate it but only because i was hungry and in a hurry. Have been there before and was great but will never Go back again.

We like it. Went on Friday night, place was packed,we ordered a pizza and the prawn salad, considering the size of the meals coming out i was a little disappointed with the size of the salad.Prawns were delicious but if only there were more, pizza was good all in all a good night.
Ev
Ordered garlic prawns and margarita pizza. Partner enjoyed the prawns but the pizza tasted like the contents of a salt shaker. When I discussed it with staff that we were removing the tomato to make it edible no apology no response. Also was tough like cardboard. Must have been lots of salt in the dough as well. Don't eat pizza is my recommendation.
Simon Ryan
Their breakfasts are fantastic and the coffee is awesome. The young fella there makes them well :-)
Wata Malon
Service us fine but I found a piece of shell in my seafood pizza.

Great for what it is.. I attend Cafe Brunelli regularly. The place is not without fault and is not the right venue for a romantic date with your girlfriend. It does, however, fit two niches really well. Brunelli serve staple Italian food in big serves to even bigger groups. It is great for large families and groups of mates.<br/><br/>If you frequent the area a lot grab a key ring ($15 I think) and you can get $2 coffees every time you are heading past. Ninz, Blake and Kat all serve up consistently good coffees for me every morning.
Mon
Impressive breakfast. After a lackluster experience at another restaurant last night, breakfast today at Brunelli's was fantastic. Beautiful big serves, fluffy scrambled eggs, spicy sausage, crispy bacon, great coffees. Wait staff were ok. After shopping for hours we went back to try some of their cakes. Not disappointed.
Isabella Vetrisano
Bieng italian myself I am ashamed of this place .. The costumer service is pathetic ! My food was brought to the table cold and tasteless and without utensils .. The attention is this place is terrible I am speechless
Josh Veitch
Terrible service and way to expensive for what you get, have wanted to try this place for some time very disappointing will not be going back, and the male serving us yesterday is definately in the wrong job!!!
BruschettaKing
I don't know what to say about this place! First time I went it was great, the second time was a disaster. Their waiting staff committed an inexcusable fault in service that no cafe should ever have done. I ordered my meal the same time as my girlfriend but my meal came out a full 20 minutes before hers... To rub salt in the wound neither meal was up to scratch. even McDonalds knows to deliver each order together. Absolutely inexcusable!!! I don't think I will ever go back for this simple reason.
Daniel Mooney
One of the worst places I've been to.<br/>The pizza was soggy and had way too much seafood on it. The spaghetti looked like it came out of a can and burnt my tongue. And the hot chocolate tasted like it had chalk in it. Not good. Over cooked and over charged.
Sausinga
Nice pizza but the place stinks and is sticky, it needs a refit
Olkroozer
Watch out for the HUGE servings.<br/>Unfortunately my pizza was not cooked properly. Doggy bag and recooking fixed the second 1/2.<br/>Bit too noisy if you are having a romantic night out.<br/>Was otherwise OK.
Foodandwinefan
Wasteful. Food was great but HUGE - way to much, felt really guilty and wasteful leaving so much on the plate - was enough for 2 if not 3 of me... would come back and share the meals next time
Gabriel
The food at Brunelli are beautiful BUT i should say service is horrible - not friendly and a bit rude. I go there now and then as it is located just near rundle mall, but every time i go there, i feel that their service should improve!
Neen
Don't bother. This cafe was rude and horrible. We ordered 2 coffees, a breakfast and a croissant. They forgot about our coffees and we watched 10 takeaway orders being done before ours. We were told the coffees were on their way but then heard the waitress go behind the counter and argue with the two coffee guys. Magically, our coffees appeared 2mins later along with our croissant that had been sitting there for the last 15mins and was now cold. Noone apologised and when I collected the coffees the arrogant barista just pushed the coffees towards me and walked away. Don’t bother with this place, walk 5mins up the road and go to one of the cute cafes with polite staff.
Dylan
Wow - the size of some of the meals was amazing, really generous and worth the money! Food was great and staff were friendly and helpful, really good. Get the open souvlaki, it was incredible!!!
Beary Nice
Just an average cafe large enough for many functions to be held at one time. Food is good but gets very loud inside if there are lots of people. Is return but not my first choice.
Leeroy
Food is average and so is the coffee.. Staff look like they would rather be somewhere else, very unfriendly. No table service!!
Alison
Incredibly average. Things that sound delicious and should be are so mediocre. Do yourself a favour and walk a block down Rundle street to find another one of these Italian cafes with much better food for the same price.
Eastwaste
Not bad for a quick bite. Ive been here a few times - usually because we can always get a table without booking. Ive found the food to be Ok. Unlike other reviews I have found the service to be OK too. I don't expect too much from the staff here as you have to go up and pay at the counter for both food and drinks. I had the yiros pizza on Friday night which was not too bad - it looked better than the other pizzas my friends had. Previously I have had pasta which I preffered to the pizza.
Gavin
Movie Guide. The only good thing about Cafe Brunelli is the free movie guide for palace eastend when they are up to date. The food and service hasn't changed! See some of the staff training in Martial Arts, maybe they are in the wrong business! I just wish the old owners hadn't left, but Brunelli has always been a kids cafe!<br/><br/><br/>-----11 Jul, 2012-----<br/><br/>The Great Pizza Rip Off!. Every since this cafe changed to Brunelli the service and food has been shit. I loved it before and now I don't think about going past the front door after three bad meals and coffee. The first time happened last year when I was served a cold coffee, second time the waiter forgot my coffee and ham/heese crossiant and the thrid time I was served the wrong pizza which I ate and then the right one arrived. I had just come back from interstate and was tired and hungry, ordered a marinara pizza, was delived a large margarita, which I have ate and then the marinana pizza arrived. I was told it was my responsiblity to let staff know beforehand and I was also served a warm flat red wine as well. I am never going to Brunelli again, have thrown away my loyalty keyring. If I had behaved the way Brunelli staff behaved when I worked in a cafe I would have been sacked or worse cooked alive. 'The Great Brunelli Pizza Rip Off' but it was you who got ripped off not me! And what about the poor Spanish couple who had to wait for another large Margarita Pizza!
Sam Lee
Quite ok. Some of the staff there are quite rude, but others are quite friendly. Ambience is noisy and table setting is very cramped - especially when it is full house. However, their traditional pizzas and piatto grande are definitely worth the buck!
Elise
The food is ok, but the service is absolutely shocking! I work in a cafe myself and if I acted the way these people did I would have been fired! They argued with us about what we ordered and slammed the plate back down on our table and walked away! I'm still in shock. The waitress actually slammed the plate down twice. We will not be coming back. Plenty of other places on Rundle street with nice staff!

Flashback 1993/4. This cafe has only changed names otherwise it looks no different than in 1994. The decor is dated and old. The maintence poor with light fiitings in need of replacement. The cafe remains huge and therefore I wonder how customer service will fair. The ambience today was very cold and no heating provided on a wintery day. The coffee ordered was lovely and well made but it stopped there. I went to order a pizza and the pizza making window display was shambolic. Pizza toppings everywhere and spare containers everywhere. Why would you display this? I ordered a pizza even though I had a gut feeling that I was making the wrong choice. I was hungry and having a late lunch with my mother and wanted someting quick. The Pizza was poorly presented. The Brunelli special was overloaded with toppings. The large amounts of salami and artichokes were not evenly distributed and made for a clumsy pizza. Underneath the toppings was an over thick slick of melted mozzarella. The pizza was not enjoyable. Too much topping and too much cheese is not enjoyable on a pizza.<br/>I doubt I will come here again voluntarily. I might consider a takeaway coffee and thats it.
Mashedpotato
Just ok. I have been twice in the last few weeks, courtesy of the entertainment voucher. I ordered the seafood pasta, It was ok, lots of seafood but not much taste in the white sauce. My friend had the bolognase...it was way too salty.<br/>The next time we had pizza. The yiros pizza was really nice, still dosn't beat the tast of amalfi pizza. My friend has the vegetarian one, very plain compared to the yiros. Without the vouchers the food is too expensive. The positive is the dessert case looks amazing...topped up with muratti cakes...which are cheaper here than from muratti themselves.
Wasklywabbit
Vegan friendly? I think not!<br/>If you call a deep fried mushed chickpea patty in a cheap burger bun with no accompanying salad a vegetarian burger, then eat here. We waited 50 minutes for this 'burger' that was so full of oil it was running down our arms! We took 2 bites and left. Didn't bother to complain as we already had hunted down forgotten our meal and didnt believe they'd care anyway.<br/>Never eating here again.
Onegreedygirl
Some strong points and some very weak ones.. STRONG: Nice pizzas (the Santorini pizza is one of the best I've ever had - served with fresh cucumber and tzatziki on each slice)<br/>Tomato and basil soup (when it's on offer) is very nice<br/>Savoury crepes are yummy (if not a bit oily)<br/><br/>WEAK: Some of the staff (older women especially) are very rude and kind of...sloppy looking (sorry)<br/>It's a bit noisy and cramped inside<br/>The salads are limp and old (honestly, how hard is it to make fresh salad?!)<br/>Everything feels a bit mass produced<br/>The macarons were made by someone who has never eaten a real macaron before - hard as a rock which is a massive SIN AGAINST SWEETS. Actually all the sweets look a bit old and stale.<br/><br/>A few standard vegie offerings but stay away from the vegie burger (dry & bland) and the lentil salad (tasteless and boring).<br/><br/>If you're looking for somewhere to eat on Rundle St, it's better than Daniel's (what isn't?) but pretty much sub-par to everything else. Walk a little further.
David_K
Service good, but food was bland -<br/>servings were large though.

Bustling Italian. An Adelaide institution which I think they take for granted! With everything from breakfasts to cakes, pizzas, mains and cocktails, Brunelli is open while many locals are sleeping. We tourists certainly enjoyed our early morning breakfast with the cyclists!
Kevin Jacobs
OKAY!!. The food and service is OKAY at Brunelli's... Not Great, just OK. k. They do the standard Italian style food and menu with the regulars like pizza, pasta and risotto. Not a bad thing, its just an OK Italian Restaurant.
Bellbird
Disappointing. Service was poor; waiting staff rude and dismissive. One of our friends had to wait over half an hour for their meal after the rest of the table had already received theirs- no explanation offered. Meals were cleared before the missing dish arrived. Food was average. Overall, not very impressed.

Cafe Brunelli!. Wow, this place is full of great people and great food!<br/>The bar staff are a delight to get along with and most certainly cheer up my day.<br/>The food here is also brilliant, very flavorsome and delicious!<br/>Will definately be coming back again and again!

Worst meal in Adelaide. My wife and I ate here on Sunday night after attending several fringe events so it was late (~11.00pm).<br/>We both had the Vitello Di Casa which would have to be the worst meal we've had in Adelaide. The veal was dry and had the texture of cardboard (however, the topping of jarlsburg cheese served with rosemary potato and<br/>mushroom sauce was edible).<br/>We would have complained but the perceived mood of the staff this would have been a waste of time.<br/>There are dozens of great eateries in Adelaide so go to one of those and give Brunelli a big MISS.
Peter Loh
My Veggie Burger was dry and bland. Not all what I was expecting!

Satisfactory

Ordinary. Service was very poor, staff probably shouldn't be working in this industry. Calzone was mediocre and the atmosphere is comparable to that of a shopping centre food court.

Below average service for the price and location. This was for breakfast and it may be better later in the day.

The owners of Brunelli's come from a long well founded tradition of preparing good Italian fare. They have been at this location for almost four years, previously owned Fellini's for ten years. They were the first in Adelaide to perfect Wood Fired Pizza's. While observing the Pizza's they looked amazing. We chose from a very extensive menu, the Kangaroo In red wine and the Seafood Miso. Both were cooked to perfection, served on plates the size of meat platters, without any undue delay. Finishing with a very aromatic coffee. This is a big bustling family friendly restaurant, with all the traditional Italian favorites, Pizza, Pasta, Seafood, Gelati. Plus a huge range of cakes and chocolates. There is a full bar service including Brunelli's Cocktails. The location is the fashionable end of East Rundle, which makes for great people watching while dining In the large covered alfresco area on the footpath.

Overpriced and poor quality. Presentation not great. Much better places around.

Went to cafe brunelli for breakfast. I had the eggs florentine with a side of mushroom which was delicious. It was a great experience and could not really fault it.
Eggplant
Awful!. Went to Brunelli at 8pm for dinner. Not a happy staff member in the place! ordered (crab pasta) and it came out promptly, but it was not worth the money I paid for it! clumps of tasteless unrecognisable "crab" with a flavourless sauce that only a handful of fake parmasen cheese could overcome! My friend ordered a pesto dish with similar lack of flavour issues. Cutlery was also dirty. There were others seated around us, but while eating they started to put chairs on tables and close up, 830pm! We felt rushed so we didn't even bother to finish our meals. Would not return!
E-Dog
Late hours was fantastic only place open we could find on short notice. The service was ORDINARY. The woman who took our order looked like she wanted to be anywhere else. Was probably an owner cos no 40-50 year old woman would voluntairily work a late night in the city!!! I had the kangaroo fillet and it was AMAZING! It wad twice the amount of meat you would usually get anywhere else.although it was only served with a few roasted veggies and could have done with a sweet potato mash maybe....... It was on the higher side of the price j would usually pay for a meal but didn't leave feel at all ripped off for what I got

So many better options... The food is OKAY at Brunelli's, just ok. General Italian staple pizzas and pastas, with some other basic mains like parmigiana or a burger. The pastas are a lowlight, pizza or a burger seems a good choice!<br/><br/>You will probably leave full for not too high a price, but the service is surly, rude and inattentive, and the level of salt and oil in the food left me feeling terrible. <br/><br/>The place isn't AWFULLY bad, but in the company of other places on Rundle St, there's not really an excuse for the poor quality of the food or service.
Calumo
Came in for breakfast. Barista staff were friendly and quick however the woman who took my food order and waited my table was surly and unhospitable. The breakfast was nice and reasonably priced, however the louder than nessicary commercial radio coming out of the speakers (and the TV volume!) killed the atmosphere a bit
Aeroplate
Average and oily!!
Rachel
Just Okay. It was nothing special but a fairly reasonable run of the mill casual Italian style restaurant. Large number of indoor and outdoor tables.<br/>4 different gourmet vegetarian pizzas available if you're into that - generous size and toppings.<br/>Schweppes on tap.<br/>Did see a sign mentioning $8 movie tickets available.
Gluten Free Guy
Gluten free friendly??. Not too sure about the gluten free friendly tag? We went there on Sunday for breakfast. When I ordered I advised that I was coeliac and couldn't have any gluten and the lady behind the counter just stared at me like I had two heads! Not very friendly at all...
Yirui
Too salty!

Not a review. A group of us recently tried to go for a meal here and did not get past the front doors. The smell of stale parmesan cheese emanating from the place onto Rundle Street was so pungent and off putting that none of us wanted to go in and we went elsewhere. Perhaps it was just a bad night or they haven't ever changed or washed the shakers inside.
Ilovebagels
This place is way too big with too much on its menu to be good. The dessert pizzas taste cheap and nasty and were burnt on the bottom. Only came here because I was with a group that wanted to go but will never go again.

Great cafe. Meals at Brunelli. We have eaten many times at Cafe Brunelli in Rundle St.<br/>The meals are so generous you need to go on an empty stomach. Best Pizza on Rundle Street?. So, could Brunelli serve the best pizza on Rundle Street? You know what, I think they come damn close. :)

Best Wood Oven Pizza in Adelaide. Cafe Brunelli's definitely has the best wood oven pizza in Adelaide. Try their Brunelli's pizza - yum! <br/><br/>Pasta is also delicious and the staff are friendly and service is quick.

There are two things I love about Cafe Brunelli, their cheap movie dinner deals and their ability to accommodate for large groups of people.

Day two was another early morning in Adelaide. This time, we were joined by our Melbournian friends for breakfast. We didn't walk very far from our hotel before finding a cafe that was open in Adelaide city on a Sunday morning. Brunelli Cafe located on Rundle Street looked like a typical cafe. Given it was 7.30am in the morning, we were lucky to see one of two tables with people having breakfast. Menu had all your usual suspect dishes. I went my usual hit of caffeine with a flat white ($3.40) and the Egg Royale ($15.90) , which consisted of two poached eggs on a bed of spinish on toasts, with some smoked salmon, topped off with hollandaise sauce. I can't say I was particularly impressed with the food, the salmon was a bit too salty and the eggs were too runny for my liking. However, the equivalent breakfast in Perth I imagine would cost you over $20.   J. All photos were taken with my iPhone 5.

This remarkable pizza is from Cafe Brunelli’s , on Rundle Street. I always get it. It’s not easy to get through, with gelato, cherry ripe chunks, custard and chocolate decorations that I would rather were left off. I can’t eat it all and usually only have one or two pieces left. There are also fresh strawberries which help cut through the cloying sweetness – I think they need more of those strawberries. Other dishes include pasta and savoury pizzas. I wasn’t a fan of my friend’s Hawaiian pizza on a gluten free base. Not a good base, not an exciting pizza, and very small for the $20 she paid for it. I recommend this dish and this restaurant. It’s a nice, cheerful place to relax and eat a ca

I ordered the Pasta Bello - grilled chicken, pesto, pumpkin, capsicum, onion, broccoli, garlic and cream sauce. Best thing of all? You get to choose what pasta you want it with. I chose the ravioli because I have always loved ravioli and don’t you think it’s more worth the money? I mean, it’s stuffed too!

This place was bloody tip top!<br/><br/>What's that? An italian place taking a greek food and turning into italian food and making it more awesome than before? That's right, it's exactly what you're thinking - yiros pizza. Paul downed the thing and it was amazing.<br/><br/><br/>

The sister and I were out shopping on Boxing Day in Rundle Mall and after an entire morning rubbing shoulders with just about everyone in Adelaide, we decided to settle for something quick and easy. Was difficult to find a cafe that isn't filled with diners but thankfully, Brunelli has ample of seating area to accommodate mobs of visitors.

Meatlover's pizza~ There were generous portions of ham slices but could do a lot better with some extra seasoning. Was a bit bland, in my opinion.
Ling Tan
We had the Yiros pizza to share - Tomato sauce, cheese, marinated chicken and lamb, spanish onion topped with sliced tomato, tabouli and garlic sauce.

The front of the café is dominated by a HUGE cabinet of cakes, biscuits and chocolates. I have no idea what they’re like but they look tempting enough to make you want to skip a ‘real’ meal and just do cake and coffee.
