Great coffee, and they make their own almond milk which is great! However the music is often very loud, so I’d recommend takeaway rather than sit in.

Excellent coffee, the best that we found in Adelaide. The service is friendly and you can tell that the owners/staff are serious about their coffee.
This is cute little hidden gem in regent arcade. There are large share table seating arrangements available inside and out. Service was good, coffee came out quick and most importantly coffee was good 👌 Strong, smooth and just the right temp. Got a small selection of some tempting looking treats, but nothing really popped out at me this time.
There are a few things you want from your local coffee joint: dope coffee. tasty food. funky tunes. legends behind the machine. and efficiency. Larry slays all of these. The perfect mix of everything you want in a regular caffeine hub. Don't sleep.

Regent Arcade was one of my favourite arcades when growing up in Adelaide simply because it had the biggest sports store in the city (back in the day). My frequent trips to ‘Rowe and Jarman’ after school etched most of the stores in the arcade in my memory. While some of these store still remain, progress has changed Adelaide a lot and on a recent visit, I was excited to walk the hall of Regent arcade again, this time to visit the gorgeous Larry & Ladd Cafe.
Took away a Bircher Muesli for a quick breakfast on the go. It was supposed to be $6, but I was charged $5 because they had run out of the berries that it usually comes with. The bircher came with some extra yoghurt on top and I ended up topping it with some fresh blueberries myself. The muesli was so simple but it was really, really delicious. I especially loved the yoghurt - I think I'm going to ask where they source their yoghurt from because it was that good. Honestly for $6 this is such a bargain. The serving was very generous for the price. I've also heard great things about their toasties so next time I return I might try one of those.
Tucked in the depths of Regent Arcade, this cosy cafe is perfect for escaping the city while providing decent coffee and light snacks. Would recommend!
I arrived at my hotel around 730am. That's one of the issues flying from Canberra - there's only two direct flights per day at 6am or 7pm. The hotel had a check-in time of 2pm which left a solid amount of time to sit around before deciding that sitting elsewhere than the hotel lobby may make time go faster.
My favourite coffee spot in Adelaide. I'm a Melbourne girl in dire need of good quality coffee everytime I land in a different city. Larry & Ladd is a notable cut above every other spot I've tried so far in Adelaide.
A cute little spot, they make their own almond milk on site, and their almond milk lattes are absolutely delectable. Warm and friendly staff, they're highly attentive and know me by name now whenever I'm visiting.
One tiny note I could make would be that the music within the cafe is quite loud so I often sit out in the arcade sitting instead of in the actual cafe, which I would prefer for the atmosphere.
Otherwise I really could not rave anymore about this spot. Amazing.
I had the ham and mustard pickle toastie and it was sooooooo delish! & the coffee!!! Amaze. Lovely lovely staff and great vibe! Would definitely recommended a visit to all!
Went here based on Julia Clarke's review. Yes. Yes. Yes. This place is the real deal. The barista (and co owner) is creating coffee that will inspire the dreams of those that crave quality caffeine hits. Like me. While once Adelaide was playing catch up to Melbourne in the coffee world we are now showing them we can compete. Thanks must be given to local industry icons like Josh Baker who have put us on the map with both this place and Coffee Branch. Love.
A really lovely place in Regent Arcade, a part of what I hope is a resurgence in the Adelaide arcades.
Only small, Larry and Ladd has great tasting coffee with a small menu of toasties, juices and soups. I have been here a few times now for meetings and relaxing moments with a beschamel (may have spelt that wrong) and bolognese toastie.
The staff are lovely, get to know you and seem to sense when I'm having a meeting and they bring our coffees to us with minimal disturbance and let me pay at the end.
I love spending time in the Arcades, and Larry and Ladd is the perfect place to sit in one and take it all in.

Adelaide arcade Renaissance is in full swing and with Larry & Lad texturing the milk in Regent Arcade and on trend clothing, fashion and food filling the once stagnant shopfronts you could imagine the focus of people's desires and a touch the old blended with the new is an invigorating trend indeed.
Larry & Lad do what you expect for an on trend cafe and they do it well. Decadent and heart warming béchamel bolognese toastie was what made its way into my mouth and it was good and it was yum and it will happen again.
Coffee was trendalishes also with great mouth feel, perfect temp and pleasing after taste. Not sure what beans were on blend but they've chosen well. Whilst on drinks I have to mention I loved the fact that each communal sitting area had water and clean glasses ready for the filling. You are right L & L, I don't want to move from my perfectly crafted sitting location to move to clear water dispenser with a repurposed 1940s facet. I want it where I need it. In easy reach of my arm machines. Thanks.
This will definitely be a returner for me and with a discount of $1.40 on two small lattes with my Adelaide Uni Coffee Lovers card (first time in 3 months I've used it) it turns out to be a cheapest visit also.
Very decent coffee. I also tried their truffled mushroom toastie - really good value - good quality bread, good size, lots of mushrooms, good gooey cheese and a real truffly taste. Friendly staff too.

Cool coffee shop. Tucked away in the Regent Arcade you will be pleased y the coffee and snacks on offer. Decor is awesome and lighting makes it seem like a little hideaway in the city centre. Top spot
Toasties a winner. Came here with three other co-workers in the morning, for something different. Great atmosphere and decor, I liked that immediately. Music playing was fun. I had a hot chocolate (not a coffee drinker) and a cheese & tomato toastie. Toastie took a while to come out, there was only one guy there and he had a fair few takeaway customers come in. But it was made from scratch, and tasted delicious. Bread nice and crusty. The hot chocolate was fine, nothing spectacular (I prefer Adelaide Coffee Bar, or Ciao in Adelaide Arcade), but a good amount of froth. My co-workers all had coffees - cappuccinos and short blacks? Not 100%. They weren't too impressed sadly, but sounds like other reviewers here enjoyed their coffees. They thought it had no flavour. Don't ask me, as I don't drink the stuff. I think I might come back, especially with a bit of time up my sleeve.
Great coffee and cool atmosphere
Been a few times & each time am just as happy with the beautiful coffee & lovely service! Haven't tried the food yet but the coffee is really good, definitely worth going there for a nice cup or two. It's a very welcoming & nice place to sit and relax ones feet from shopping or simply for a short get away from work.

Coffee is up there withe the best in Adelaide. Great space. Lighting, seating, tables and decor are all perfect. Excellent magazine selection for purchase. Extra seating outside in the arcade.
Could not fault the coffee at all. Food selection is great with a range of small sandwiches and pastries all for around $5. Even the music is carefully curated and not played too loud.

What do you get when Superman has a baby with Wonder woman? Wonderman or Superwomen even? In this case, its Larry & Ladd, a collaboration between Bar 9 and Coffee Branch. Located in the middle of Regent Arcade, they have again brought great coffee to an area that was lacking in any good options. The setting in the arcade is great, using their own 5 Senses blend of beans, paired with Tweedvale milk, the delivery from the Barista’s and that matt black Synesso is super consistent. Hungry? Pair it with a fancy toasty toast, cheese and pickles being my favourite.
