Had lunch here recently with friends, we sat outside so there was room for the kids to run around and play on the grass. My bruschetta with haloumi and fig was delicious, a very generous portion size but appropriately priced for this. I also had an iced coffee which was nice. My friend had the gnocchi with walnut and they were also light and soft and tasty. A nice place for a quiet catch up or a relaxed lunch.

What a cute little place in a great location. Decor is lovely, wine list is surprising and cocktail menu is not bad. A great place for a drink and a catch up.

My husband and I absolutely love this place. They serve the best coffee I have ever had - without a doubt! It doesn't matter what barrister is working, the coffee is always consistently good and the perfect temperature (not cold like far too many other cafes). Additionally, the quality of the food is excellent. They clearly source the highest quality ingredients and create dishes that highlight each flavour. Love it!

Hula hoop have excellent staff that will go out of their way to make your night as enjoyable as possible. The menu, although brief, is delicious quality food made in a timely fashion. Run by the Hamra family, it is a high quality eatery served with warmth and a smile! Couldn't recommend it more, especially for its outside dining area - finished with tea light candles and mood lighting.

Popped in for breakfast. Well cooked scrambled eggs with a side of local smoked bacon. Nice ambience and great service. Happy to come back again.

Business owners, Steph and Jon Hamra, initially opened the Hula Hoop bar on one side of the Regal theatre while operating the Uxbridge Kitchen, a cosy little cafe, on the opposite end. It was only recently that they decided to consolidate the two businesses under the Hula Hoop banner. The space that was formerly the Uxbridge Kitchen is the part of Hula Hoop that is always first to open with the opposite end primarily used for overflow. Available from 8am-3pm is the all-day menu that consists of granola, croissants, brioche, bruschetta, salad and soup. From 4pm, the night menu kicks into action and is more Mediterranean influenced.

these proprietors are new it would seem to the food industry.    The ambiance of their outlets is well balanced, and a warm environment is created.
They are providing a new wine bar food outlet in a desperate location (not much really like this around) so they provide a great venue for the locales.

Things I didn't mesh with:  a restaurant that provides dishes from an electric salamander going at full heat, and the only other thing I could see as a kitchen at the same bench was some hot pot dish???   confused.
There is a new trend to have food "bits" out on display for all and sundry to look, at sneeze on, breathe on while you wait to get served....   doesn't sit with me.
What else didn't sit with me,  was the cost of food items,  but if the people of the location are prepared to pay that price.....more fool them really.     Yes it was good enough to eat, but overpriced.   Had from the 'chef's bench' was risotto balls, minimalist charcuterie plate, meatballs (to Manu's point....not enough sauce).  What was a nice touch was the home made crostini sticks.

Evident were some tosser attitudes  ...it may match the locale, though on top of it all, the service was keen and friendly.

What is a classic,  in the outside seating area the lights come on at a full bore while the cinema next door is revving up for the showing of the next pic.   All good though when the pic starts, the lights dim in unison.....   when they are on though it is a bit like the end of the night at the night clubs  - bright lights.... eeek   but it is only for a short stint thankfully.
