Review Caparezza Espresso Bar - Adelaide

Great coffee and very friendly staff. Just a little on the expensive side but if you love good coffee it's worth it. Theres a $5 minimum spend for EFT so had to treat myself to a nice bottled water instead of tap.

Great service, great tasting coffee, great selection of gluten free bars/ snacks. Only thing is the coffee is always like warm not hot enough for the wintery cold weather.

Good strong coffee but not the best coffee I've ever had. Friendly and welcoming staff and large range of food and cakes

Outstanding coffee served by absolutely professionals - friendly and committed to serving only the best in traditional Italian cafe style. Our coffees came with a small glass of water served on the side which suited me perfectly - I needed a little side of sparkling with my long black after the heat of Adelaide and added dehydration of a coffee. Delicious looking cakes but I just indulged in a dark Baci which I had never had before and topped off the experience superbly. Best coffee experience I’ve had in Australia.

Top quality professional service in a friendly environment. Feels like I'm in a Trieste café. Exceptional coffee that will knock your Zia Carmella's socks off! ☕⚰️😘

Truly authentic Italian espresso bar. Excellent espresso crema, expert steamed milk, balanced flavor and artful presentation down to the shot of soda water on the side and latte art. High quality baked goods as well. For the best experience, don't rush off with a cardboard cup, but take a moment at the bar. Phil and his team are masters at their craft.

Back for a second day. Like little Italy. A Juventus scarf draped on the shelf, a good range of cakes and biscuits, fabulous coffee and friendly staff. Fantastic folks. Keep it up

Consistently good coffee here and their display cabinet is always full of delicious looking food. There is always a sweet treat to go with your coffee too.

Best coffee this side of the city. The guys there are fantastic and the coffee is perfection every time! Great Italian sweet treats and quick bites too.

I come to Caparezza often as its one of my favourite stops for coffee.

Whether you’re at their cafe or their coffee carts they bring around Rundle mall, everything is always high quality.

All their food and pastries taste to be authentic Italian. It’s tough to find better zeppoles 👌🏼
Staff are awesome and always so much fun to talk too.

All in all, top-notch. ☕️

Probably the most authentic Italian place I have been to in Australia. Stepping into Caparezza, it was like I was transported to one of the many tiny, bar-style cafes I had visited in Italy, where people would stand at the counter and enjoy their morning caffe with a cornetto, perhaps chatting with the barista. This is exactly the scene at Caparezza. The cafe is usually buzzing in the morning when I drop by at about 8am, with workers grabbing their caffeine fix on the way to work.

The baristas at Caparezza probably pump out one of the best brews in the city. The coffee is flavourful and very aromatic; you can tell they use quality beans.

This morning I took away food from here for the first time. Feeling like a light breakfast, my choice was a mix of Cacao Kapow and Crunchy Maple Muesli from Goodies & Grains. I was told it would be served wit yoghurt and fruit. I was pretty disappointed to be presented with a small container barely filled halfway, topped with a small dollop of yoghurt that was clearly not enough for the amount of muesli, 4 tiny slices of apple, and a drizzle of honey. I had to add quite a lot of milk to be able to mix everything together.

Taste wise it was fine, but that's not saying much because they simply stock the muesli from Goodies & Grains. For $8.50 it was definitely not worth the money. I'm not completely put off buying food from here though, because their display cabinet is usually filled with yummy looking sandwiches and fritattas. Perhaps I'll try one of those next time.

One of my favourite spots in Adelaide. Any time I'm in the city it's a must for me to visit this little Italian getaway. Coffee is always spot on with a strong full flavour & the atmosphere is like being in a bar in Italy. He's really done well with capturing that Italian feel with the fit out but also most importantly the coffee, food & even the staff!

Attention to detail is immaculate. Coffees are spot on. The espresso bar concept is great. Feels like you're in Italy and now serving traditional Italian cured meats and cheeses. Highly recommend!
