I have wanted to come here for some time. A great location on the Parade at Norwood. We had a selection of starters for lunch and it was stunning. The burrata was so fresh, the zucchini flowers were amazing, the scallops were delicious and the olive ascolane were perfect. Service was spot on and the coffee was great. Will definitely be back.

I visited 400 gradi in Melb and loved their food 3 years ago so was quite excited when they were opening a branch in Adelaide and they did not disappoint. Everything we had was delicious , from the seafood entree platter to the crab granchio and mushroom truffle pasta! Their pizzas are a generous size as well. Would definitely come back here

We tried a selection of dishes on the night and I can say everything was delicious!! Service was wonderful with all staff being so attentive throughout the night, regardless of the restaurant being absolutely packed. Will definitely return to try other dishes on the menu

Managed to get a booking on opening night for Gradi as couldn’t wait till it opened! Always happy to see new pizza places open! But, of course that’s not all they can do. Was a very hot night when we went and there were some problems, you would expect that on the first night of customers. I do love the fact they have an automated door and of course that is fabulous for the wait staff carrying bundles of foodie joy outside. Thing is, the door is so large and slow that it let in so much heat every time someone when in or out, that is compromised the air con, and of course the same will happen in the cooler months. The actual décor is lovely, but! And here is my but! The tables are very close together, so close that when the staff or anyone else walks through, it is very hard to dodge knocking a chair or two! That was our problem! I was fine on the padded long seat, but my foodie mate was on the outer on a chair, so every time staff or a customer walked past, he got knocked up! We had to say something, so he moved up a bit and it was a little better, but not much. The staff were fabulous and soooo many of them! So we didn’t get just one wait person, but that’s okay, they were all good. Foodie mate asked for a recommendation of a nice glass of Rose, it was discussed and he came back with a glass of chianti? Mmmm, ok let that one go. Both starving, we asked for some of the house olives $9 and that’s fine, but I am a big fan of a little freebee whilst you peruse the menu! I have been to many Italian restuarants where they just put olives on the table as a gesture, feels right. The pizzas were nice, but I prefer a crispier base (each to their own), also had the prawn pasta with pesto and caviar, in all honesty, the little specks of black caviar were lost in this dish, better to put salmon pearls, pasta excellent though, apparently made in house? Dessert was pretty good. As the other reviewers are saying, it is not a place for romance or bending down on one knee! Pretty noisy and hectic, in saying that, I still enjoyed the atmosphere. Happy to try again as the first night is always the hardest!

Amazing pizzas and very friendly staff. The base stayed crispy throughout and the crust had a nice chew. Good range of craft beers and wines too.

Leaving the freshly (pre) opened Norwood restaurant, my wife and I both said essentially the same thing. Actually, I should clarify there, as I was actually saying things like “Oh my god, it hurts”, “Perhaps that extra piece of pizza wasn’t the best idea” and “I am never eating again”. You know how it goes – we have all been there.

Great meal had at 400gradi once again. Been here three times now and the pizzas never disappoint. This time we also tried dessert which was very nice. 3 different desserts had and 4 different pizzas, all delicious! One pizza not on their menu but was in Melbourne, so they did something up for me similar. Great night all up!

400 Gradi make the best pizza Napoletana in Adelaide! They are part of a selected group of Italian restaurants / pizzerias that prepare their pizzas as the original pizzaiolos in Naples, these are from ‘La Vera Pizza Napoletana’. Aside from this distinction, their pizzas are just divine! Everything else in their menu looks fantastic too. Highly recommended

Fantastic food, great wine and good service. If you are looking to get a nice bottle of red to go with your pasta, I highly recommend the Montepulciano! This place was pretty busy so If you would like to sit inside I would recommend booking a table to avoid disappointment.

DELIZIOSO.... Came here for wifeys work Xmas shindig and had a blast. Now this could have been attributed to the awesome crew vibes and alcohol, but I'd like to think that the venue played it's part also hahaha. Right off the bat the staff were awesome and accommodating, even allowing us to switch to a more cosy corner table when we arrived. Out waitress was super fun and smiley, catering to every request which included my wifes desire to have her G&T in (as she refers to it), "a pretty glass" 🍸 Starters of a Salumi Board (which boasted the highest quality cured meats), Woodfired garlic and herb focaccia & beautiful freshly shucked oysters, got us off to a cracking start. Our individually ordered mains ranged from perfect Pastas (bolognaise, marinara and GF carbonara), fantastic woodfired pizzas (which had some of the best bases I've had in Adelaide) and a mountain of locally sourced mussels. The only shortfall was we we're having that much fun, our 2hr allotted time elapsed before we had the opportunity to try any dessert. In all 400 Gradi is definitely worth a visit the next time your cruising the parade.
