Staff couldn't crack a smile when greeting or when service was provided. We booked 2 wks ahead with a mention of it being a special day but still got squeezed in to a corner. Lamb was tasty but the sides were cold just like the room. Could have gone to the local pub for a better cheaper meal.
The food is simple but beautifully prepared. The wine list is small, but has quality offerings. The staff are lovely. Under rated restaurant that is well worth a visit.

Food outstanding, staff outstanding, a most enjoyable evening. The restaurant is the perfect complement for the accommodation.
No variety on the menu. And the small selections on the menu were overpriced and unappealing. Ended up leaving. Dull lighting and awful decor. Overall extremely unimpressive.
Beautifully cooked steak with delicious sides and a 10/10 pannacotta that was smooth, light and beautifully balanced in flavours!
