$8.30 for a large soy mocha is a bit too much. Even Melbourne coffee doesnt cost that much and it tastes better.
Eccles Red
Excellent coffee and great friendly staff.

Good coffee, great service. Health smoothies and juices, great on the go lunches. Always freshly made. The owner makes this place. He is always super friendly and genuinely cares for his staff. I overhead him saying he kept his barista on as he wasn’t eligible for any financial support...what a heart of gold to support someone when you yourself are facing trying times (Covid/social distancing). I don’t have coffee our a lot but when I do, I go to Kicko

Fast service, delicious coffee and friendly staff who make eye contact and remember your name! I walk past several cafes in the city to go to Kicco Pirie Street. Highly recommend.

Had to pay more for coffee than advertised, because "they changed prices but forgot to change the tags" (and didn't take it down afterwards). Too hot, and didn't taste good. Know places that have better coffee for same price. Edit: i wrote this review regarding an incident that happened a little while back, not this week and it has nothing to do with recent changes or this past Saturday.

Lovely atmosphere at Kicco, even when it is really busy. All the staff are really friendly and the service is efficient. GREAT coffee and good food options.

Kicco is a conveniently located cafe and has hired some really great staff.

I also really like how fancy the cup is. The coffee however was too milky and very weak. Ordered the smallest size to keep the coffee strong but that didn't work.

Reasonably priced.
Coffee was quite nice actually.
An assorted array of sandwiches, wraps and other goodies are available.
Waiter was a little bit clumsy and unsure if our order was for our table, other than that it was prompt service.
Good for a quick business power lunch.
The Dear Luncher
When you're a Melbourne based traveller in foreign lands (or Adelaide), you make mental notes of the places that deliver high grade caffeine drinks. Kicco is one such place. Conveniently located near The Dear Luncher's place of employ in Adelaide, it is a safe bet every time. Breakfast is decent too. The Dear Luncher adores the "big brekky wrap".

Have only had coffee here so can't comment on the food. Fast, professional service with a nice, busy inner city atmosphere gets the 2.5 pointa, but the coffee is weak, bitter, with overly heated milk. If they used better beans, weigh their baskets, keep an eye their grind, use smaller cups to improve the espresso:milk ratio, then they'll be on their way to a 5... But how busy this place is without them making good coffee makes me think they never will do those things :(.

You can judge a cafe on its eggs florentine and Kicco have not only produced one of the best breakfasts I've had in Adelaide but topped it with the best coffee I've ever tasted.

Very warm and friendly welcome so early in the morning. Ordered the eggs benedict with Proscuitto on a muffin and a coffee. Loved the meal and coffee. very satisfied customer. Came back the next morning to try it with ham. Loved it. They remembered me. I will be coming back again next time I'm in the city early. Thank you 😊

This is a lunch time favourite for me in Pirie St. Great focaccia especially the prosciutto and the chicken pesto. Fab fresh juices and coffee. The staff are always friendly too.

AWESOME! Ok, this place arguably has the best coffee in Adelaide. Unlike its competitors (especially the red branded one) I have never had a bad coffee here. The service is usually always friendly but I can see that this sometimes wains when they are under the pump... Understandable I guess. The cakes are delicious... Get the cheesecake! They make their own gelato too and every flavour I have had is to die for. I only wish that there was one of these cafes near my house...

Perfect Service + Perfect Coffee = KICCO Pirie Street, Adelaide. Customer service is a focus in business schools and touted by many a business, but rarely seen by customers at an over the counter experience. I am not talking about a smile and hello, although this goes a long way to turning your day around. I am talking about a place where the staff make it their business to remember your name, your favourite order, take the time to talk to you about your day, and ensure you as the customer are taken care of with a cheeky free sweet morsel from time to time. These are all things that draw a customer in and keep them coming back time and time again. The staff at KICCO Pirie Street, 100 Pirie Street, are all this and more, with a special mention to the beautiful Jo and the coffee expert Pius. Every city shuffler has their favourite lunch or coffee spot, but believe me that the friendly, modern, and relaxed atmosphere of KICCO Pirie Street will convert you. If a bustling modern approach is not enough to instantly persuade you to this corner location, then the locally roasted Luxuria coffee blend certainly will. Pius, the barista, turns coffee making into an espresso art form, where the coffee beans are ground to order. Only the other day I posed a question to Pius about how to get the best flavour from my home machine, instead of giving a half-hearted answer I was invited behind the counter and shown from scratch the process of making a good coffee from the grind to the pour, the colour and the taste. All the crew at KICCO Pirie Street go above and beyond, to create a special place to relax and enjoy the perfect cup of coffee.

There seems to be a change in management recently, at which time I noticed the standards in quality and service dramatically drop. Used to be my favourite spot on Pirie St, now I will be venturing down the road to Viva or around the corner to Please Say Please.

Over it. After finishing our coffees we were asked to vacate the inside table as the place was getting busy. They told us we could go sit outside if we wanted to, very kind of them.

That's a very poor way of treating a group of regulars who visit 2 to 3 times a day and having been doing so for several months.

We won't be returning, which is a shame!!
