I popped in for lunch and was so impressed at the food coming out of this tiny little space. I opted for a zatar munooshi and received a fluffy flatbread with a tasty mix of sesame seeds, thyme and other spices. The flat bread with fillings were stuffed to overflowing- for less than $10 they are great value. I also tried a kiby - lamb mince, cracked wheat and spices which comes with sauce and cucumber. Delicious!
The cafe aims at excellence. It provides good value for money using fresh produce, ample servings and the staff are kind and have a sense of service. I eat there often and my experience is consistently good. Well done to good service and delicious food.

Located on East Terrace, this small cafe was part of the Feast On Foot tour.
The service is lovely and the staff are so warm as well.
We got to sample a few delights! We had kiby, vine leaves, and munooshi as well some dips. The kiby was wonderful and crunchy. The vine leaves with its rice filling was lovely too. The munooshi I could see being made fresh in the rolling oven so was nice and fresh when we got it. Simple fillings but very tasty.
This place is great for a nice quick weekend brunch or a weekday lunch. My favourites are the cheese & zaatar munooshi, cheese & honey munooshi, and kiby munooshi.
A wonderful little surprise on East Terrace! The food is simple and very authentic. They also offer a small selection of delicious freshly squeezed juices. The ladies serving are very pleasant and friendly.
Highly recommended. Can't wait to come back and savour a few more dishes!
I was first introduced to Munooshi on East Terrace on the Feast on Foot Tour run by the very knowledgeable, passionate and lovely Caitlin. Let's just say we loved it so much we have been fans ever since. Since we both don't work in the city and I no longer have Saturdays available, we grab every rare chance we have to dine at city lunch time establishments.
Super fresh, yet hearty and flavoursome. I had the felafel munooshi with babaghanouj - the felafel was soft and tasty and the babaghanouj beautifully smoky and smooth. The salad included pickled vegetables which gave it a delicious tangy crunch. The dolmathes were also excellent and the staff very friendly and helpful.
Honestly this is my first time eating middle eastern food, and I got to say it was pretty good. I ordered the lamb munooshi and it was simply good. It was simple and delicious. The bread when baked was absolutely heavenly! The service was on point. Everything worked efficiently would definitely come here again.
I loooooovvvveeeee Munooshi cafe. The first time I visited I was impressed with the amazing staff who gave a great run down of the menu and food they offer. I've tried a variety of items from the menu and have always been beyond satisfied. I'm a huge fan of the zaatar and lubni and the fresh juices are heavenly. The food is so light and fresh it it is the most beautiful experience. I also normally hate olives but absolutely love the olives from munooshi cafe. I really don't think any cafes in adelaide compare to the Munooshi that is made here. I would highly recommended everyone try this cafe. 😊😊😊
Excellent food; choice of inside upstairs, street or courtyard tables; very pleasant staff; relaxed atmosphere; will return.
Fantastic food, fresh, full of flavour (still trying to work out the secret in the lamb mince munooshi!), and great value. How the food trucks charge twice as much without the overheads I have no idea.
Funky middle eastern. I love middle eastern. so I checked this out on business trip to adelaide.
funky little vibe.
very busy. be prepared to wait at least 10min if busy.
friendly staff
more expensive than brunswick st in melbourne but probably about what you expect to pay in the 'CBD'.
Absolutely delishious though. I had the lamb munooshi and a fresh veggi juice. light fluffy dough. little bit of chew. crisp exterior. the right amount of spice and hummus. just lovely. and with a view into the park its worth the wait
in fact I had to try 2 of their vine leaves to take away. again. fresh. perfectly marinated. delectable. I could eat an entire plate of them.
Inexpensive, fresh and delicious. I thought I knew a bit about Middle Eastern food before sharing a manooshi here today for lunch. I don't. This was very different. Manooshi dough freshly prepared and baked for each order. A filling of brightly coloured crunchy pickles with hummus, felafel and fresh salad. We waited just 10 minutes and it was absolutely delicious. We ate outside in the sun on East Terrace but went upstairs for a peek. It was lovely. Smart, quiet and comfortable with big open windows overlooking the park. Our food was nicely presented and even though we shared the manooshi we were each given a portion on individual ceramic plates with serviettes. For a total of $8.90 this is outstanding value. Sadly, we can't get into the East End often or I would be sitting at that window upstairs slowly making my way through the whole menu instead of giving you the opportunity to do the same.
Being the owner of Munooshi Cafe, I would like to invite you to experience our friendly service with always a smile. While your there, why not try our Delicious, tasty and Healthy Arabic food. Especially the "Munooshi"
Finally somewhere I will return to. This one hit all the marks, great friendly service, good location and divine fresh food. I am usually not a fan of the wrap as I find it rather plain but this Munooshi what a slice of warm deliciousness. The bread was soft and slightly sweet with fresh tasty fillings that included fresh herbs and because it's worth pointing out un-wilted lettuce, there is little worse than wilted lettuce. The thickness of the bread was perfect and the amount of filling generous.
We scored an upstairs window seat that looked out over the east parklands, for only 8.90 per person I can safely say I didn't pay for that view.
After such a great lunch we decided to split a desert Munooshi and we were not disappointed with the decision.
This little place is a must try. I know I will be back.
Consistently good. I have been going here for over a year and it never disappoints. Fresh tasting food and friendly staff.
Unique Middle Eastern. Munooshi serves up half moon wraps filled with the tastes of the middle east. Fresh and tasty, I would highly recommend the kiby which is a falafel-like fried concoction of lamb, pine nuts and spices served with yogurt and fresh veggies. So good!
Once you've gone through the rest of the wraps, don't be afraid to try the arabic salad. Also highly recommended.
Great little spot for lunch on the east end, owners are very friendly people and serve you personally. Service can be somewhat slow but the hospitality and quality of the food makes it worth it.
Tasty and different. Very good value, different and the food was really nice. The staff were friendly also. The only thing that put me off was when they were making it the girl didn't wear gloves while handling food.

Munooshi cafe is located in the East End of the City on East Terrace. This little Middle Eastern cafe's signature dish is their namesake, the Munooshi (aka Manosha). Munooshi are Arabic pizzas - think Arabic version of the Italian calzone filled with Arabic ingredients.
WOW! How have I never tried this place before?!? Stunning Middle Eastern food and vibes upstairs. Not fine dine, it's soul food. Tried the za'atar munooshi with labneh and it was amazing. Kibbeh/Kibby was perfectly seasoned with some real good hummus. But the show stopper was definitely the Lamb mince munooshi with cheese, Oh!My! Goodness! There's a hint of sweetness from the pomegranate molasses (I'm guessing) that balances the dish perfectly. Will be coming back for more for sure. Very welcoming and friendly staff too.

Authentic Middle Eastern food with mummy homemade pita bread... Enjoyed the lamb munooshi and the falafel wrap overlooking the greens if Easter Y mill Park outside of the window upstairs.
Wow!
Came across this place as "Munooshi" is my go-to order at one of my local (brisbane) cafes, so when I saw the name on Google I knew we had to go, and glad we did! Beautiful flavours, speedy and fantastic service.
I wish I was in Adelaide for longer so I could make my way through the menu!
If you like to explore Lebanese cuisine, must visit this little restaurant plus cafe... they serve authentic food with taste, I personally loved the flavours of Manooshi I took falafel however they have plenty of options to choose from and their fresh juices are great as well.

Great little lunch spot, my first time trying a manoushe and I really enjoyed it. Bread was very fresh and tasty wrapped around the lamb, tomato and mint stuffing I tried. I think I ordered the equivalent of vanilla flavor as a starting point. Will definitely come back to try their falafels and other items on the menu. Seating available inside and out for dining in. #BeatTheGrind
great service and very kind staff they are ready to serve you right away
A Lebanese friend of mine recommended and introduced me to this place a few years ago and I have been coming here for my fix every time I’m at that end of town.
The food is always consistently great and tasty. The servings are just right, the staff a friendly.
Upstairs seating or courtyard when the warmer sun is out.
Amazing manushi!!! This is a gem in the east end that offers healthy lunch at a reasonable price. I have tried quite a few different items on the menu and they are all very good. Upstairs has a good view over the parkland and it is bliss to have lunch there. Service is also friendly.
