This is my favourite coffee place in Adelaide. I was initially drawn to it because of the fascinating history of the building but stayed because of the homely atmosphere, the kind staff and, well, the best chai lattes I've ever had! Nothing feels skimped here and I will be continuing to come regularly. Can't recommend it enough.

A small, good looking coffee bar that uses one of Adelaide's beautiful old buildings, combining the new interior to the neat, older exterior to great effect. The staff are both friendly and efficient. I don't know what beans are used, but the result is a high standard of smooth tasting coffee at a good price.

Staff very friendly and they play the nicest music in this intimate yet welcoming environment. A real gem.

The staff are very friendly and the process are reasonable, the service isn't bad - but not particularly quick. Definitely a leisurely coffee location rather than a quick cup.

We stopped by for lunch during a day of site seeing. There was a display case of pre-assembled sandwiches to choose from and we were a group of 5 hungry tourists. Most of the sandwiches seemed to only have 1 left of each, so when someone chose the sandwich I wanted, I had to look for something else. There were a lot of options though. I ordered a ficelle sandwich, which was long and narrow, but did not come heated. My partner ordered a foccacia sandwich that was panini pressed upon ordering. I'm not sure why his was and mine wasn't, especially since they both contained greens. Unfortunately, we were told we would not be able to fit inside, so we had to sit outside. It was too hot, even under the shade of an umbrella, so some of us went back inside. I'm not sure why we weren't able to be accommodated inside when there were quite a few small tables that could be pushed together like they did outside.

Great inner-city atmosphere and great coffee. The perfect spot to drop in and have a cuppa when you're out and about in town.

Top Coffee in the CBD. Ive been going to Adelaide Coffee Bar for many years and I regularly take my clients there for meetings. Fulvio makes excellent coffee and it's definitely one of the best in the CBD.

A Favourite. Adelaide Coffee Bar is one of my favourite places to go to, whether for breakfast or lunch. I come here at least twice a week in the morning, to get my hot chocolate fix. The staff are always friendly. Occasionally I come and grab a focaccia for my lunch and I really enjoy the tuna & spinach one - simply delicious. Definitely recommend!

Great Coffee and Service. I love this place! Great coffee, friendly staff with fast service who remember my order every time. What more do you want when grabbing a quick coffee on your way to work. I have tried other coffee shops in Adelaide CBD but nothing come close. Love it!!!

Nice atmosphere, good coffee. Very friendly service and good atmosphere with a mixture of table and bar seating. Loads of magazines and papers. Good coffee.

The Adelaide Coffee Bar, is a very cosy cafe, that has indoor and out door service. The cafe is busy but has a really good, pleasant, relaxing ambience. Outside on the side walk an Italian family were having lunch with a glass of wine, enjoying the experience. I chose one of their tasty baquettes, with a very well made, palatable coffee. The cafe was busy with a good number of regulars, which is always a good indication of service and food. This is an affordable cafe, offering a good diverse range of food. The locals are aware of this.
