Meat is always succulent and combine beautifully with delicious curries
Food : chicken tikka masala from lunch menu with mango lassi. Good serve of curry with big piece of naan. Curry was very tasty and satisfying.
Ambience : table cloths, bollywood music and pictured on the wall.. as you'd expect ?
Service : table service all the way. No problems here.

Really nice Indian! We ordered Butter Chicken, Beef Rogan Josh and Chicken Korma with sides of Garlic and Cheese Naan. The curries were packed of flavour and the meat melted in your mouth.
Taste of Bollywood has become a new local Indian favourite. The dishes have been consistently tasty and fresh. We enjoy a combination of the traditional Butter Chicken with a seafood dish. Recommended!

Have ordered home delivery a couple of times. I'm always hesitant to try new Indian places but was not disappointed.
The pricing was good, delivery on time and food and naan bread were good generous sized portions.
We have ordered butter chicken, chicken tikka, lamb rogan josh as well as plain and cheese naan. They all tasted great. This will be our regular Indian take away store now.

Chicken tikka, butter chicken (mild) and butter and garlic naan were all perfect!! The chicken was cooked to perfection... Large portions, spot on seasoning, so tender and juicy, lots of sauce and was creamy not too thick or watery and the naan was perfect.

Probably drop the rating now. Last few times the curries and naan wasn't as good as it use to be. Maybe new chefs?

I must say I'm not a big expert nor regular diner when it comes to Indian cuisine, but I really enjoyed the food at Taste of Bollywood. Very welcoming staff and butter chicken and garlic naan here are simply amazing; so much better than many well known Indian restaurants in Adelaide.
This place does a really yummy, sweet peshawari naan.
The curries are nice but perhaps a little lacking in flavour/seasoning.
You'll be bollywood dancing on your way out of this joint . Best indian food in the area.

A cut above most others. I can't even think about how I'd calculate the number of Indian restaurants I've dined at over the last 20 years, over about 6 different countries. Suffice it to say it's a lot lot lot, and I love my Indian food :) So on seeing the Urbanspoon love for this place and being in the area the other night, we popped in for dinner. As others have mentioned it's a deceptively large space and very nicely furnished, without going overboard on the usual Indian restaurant cliches. The service was very friendly, very attentive and we were thanked for visiting, which I think is a lovely touch and shows how much these proprietors actually care. Onto the food, we had a vegetarian share plate entree which had onion bhaji, samosa, battered paneer and... something else which escapes me. All were delicious however. For mains we shared a lamb biryani, a chicken madras and a channa masala (chickpea curry). All three mains were excellent, with good depth of flavour and all perfectly cooked. Perhaps they could have been a little spicier but that's nothing new when whitey orders curries. The only miss was the breads - the garlic naan was a touch overcooked and crunchy, and the vindaloo naan, which is billed as a naan spread with vindaloo sauce, sounded awesome but in reality the vindaloo sauce tasted exactly like a vindaloo paste from a jar so was consequently too salty and weird. Overall though, Taste of Bollywood is a cut above most other local Indian restaurants in taste, execution and service. In my area perhaps only Dera is better.

EXCELLENT FOOD, QUALITY, QUANTITY, SERVICE !!!. I visited Taste of Bollywood with my family on a Wednesday night. The restaurant was not so busy as it was mid-week, though there were few take-away orders.
The ambiance will make you feel like you are sitting in a restaurant in Mumbai (Hub of Bollywood), celebrity pictures everywhere, desi (indian) hits. The staff here is really friendly.
Food is absolutely amazing. Very different than any other normal Indian restaurants (Pure Indian style). We can literally feel we are dining in a top restaurant in India. I ordered a Paneer Entrée, which were soo good ! Shahi Paneer and Malai Kofta curries were finger-licking good. 2 different curries had 2 different food journeys. This is hard to initiate, as many restaurants make a common basic masala ready, and they just change a little bit between their varieties of curries. Also ordered Naan and Roti. Both were finely done, crispy but fluffy breads alike any other Indian restaurants I visited in Adelaide and Melbourne. The presentation of the food was pretty and clean ! Service was good.
Only 2 things that put me down here were the Cutlery (not so sharp knifes and fork); and the Toilet were not so clean. It didn't stink, but it needed more cleaning. It is acceptable that on weekdays, very few customers get the pleasure of dine-in. That does not mean the toilets are not looked after. (Not a major issue but needs attention)
Overall I would rate it as 4.5/5. Absolutely recommended ! Also sign up for their membership and get benefits of discounts. !
Good food. I'm 37 weeks pregnant and we all know sometimes it can get a bit "difficult" to try satisfy our cravings.
Taste of Bollywood is AMAZING, everything there was just really good! You could see how fresh everything was and very tasty. And the cheese naan is to die for, best cheese naan I've ever had. I also highly recommend Saag Chicken, I've eaten in so many Indian restaurants and this was the best Saag Chicken I've ever had. Def my fav Indian restaurant in Adelaide and will visit again.
A different Indian Restaurant. Unlike most of the Indian Restaurant in town, Taste of Bollywood is a place with welcoming staff and relaxing environment. After searching where to dine on the website, my friend and I decided to give this restaurant a try due to its high recommendation on the internet. We ordered chef's special lamb, Beef Jon Rosh (if not misspelling), Chicken Tikka Masala and Eggplant with potato. The food were served on a timely manner and we find them superb and delicious. The only thing to criticise is that the food were not piping hot when it reached the table. Another thing to mention is that the waitress was welcoming and nice. With this kind of service and food, the dinner was expected to cost more than $25(AUD) per person but only realised it to be ridiculously cheap after paying. Most importantly, you will not find yourself cover with herbs and spices smell after dining in this restaurant unlike those in town.

This is one of the best restaurant I had ever seen.. The food is always too delicious and yummy and lassi especially mango lassi as well.

Four of us went to dinner here on Tuesday night with very few customers. I could not fault the place and will be happy to return. Good setting, plenty of easy free parking, well presented welcoming and friendly waiting staff who were very patient and fully explained how the very flexible and generous banquet menus work, excellent food at a very reasonable price, and they were content to wait for us to signal when we were ready to leave. The ONLY odd thing was we could get a tea, but no coffee - no big deal.

Greatest Indian in Adelaide. Cannot go past their Goat Masala or their Lamb Vindaloo. They're both amazing! Best indian in adelaide by far!
Don't judge a book... When we approached from the outside I was a little apprehensive, it looked a little like a fish & chip shop with the flashing lights.
However, inside it was nice, they've done well with the Bollywood theme. Food was delicious, staff were efficient and polite, prices are great. Couldn't ask for more. Will be back, and have been recommending to friends.
Taste of Bollywood. Three of us had a vegetarian dinner here and would strongly recommend the restaurant on all counts: quality of cooking, good value, friendly service, ease of parking outside. We had platters of mixed entrees, three different sorts of curry (aubergine, lentil, and palak paneer), with naans and pilaos.
We would definitely come back.
First of all, I'd like to say Taste of Bollywood offered great value for money. Two of us had dinner there tonight. We had the saag lamb, chicken katsu curry, steamed rice and raita. The serves were generous, food was served quickly and the wine list offers a quality range.
Arriving at the front door, one would be forgiven for thinking this is just another pokey eating hole. But venture past the door, and you're greeted by friendly staff and a spacious interior. No loud annoying music, no shouting and jeering drunken patrons. It feels homely, comfortable and very welcoming.
We will definitely be returning here.
This is the best indian I have had since I went to india 15yrs ago!! Free delivery, deliciously fluffy saffron rice, melt in your mouth goat masala and amazing butter chicken. Go the western suburbs!!
Bollywood Bloody Brilliant!. Every time we eat here we get fantastic food. The specials are well worth having a look at, but the staple menu item is the Goan Fish Curry - silky coconut milky and tender chunky white fish perfectly spiced. This is a restaurant well worth the visit.
Gem in Adelaide. I was recommended by one of my friend. Ordered vegetable Somosa for entree and lamb Rohan Josh for mains. Both of them were excellent. Service was great. Will sure come back again.
Easily one of the best Indian restaurants I've been to, and certainly the best for the price. Incredibly friendly and attentive service, and delicious food that (for the weaker stomachs out there) won't ruin your next day ;)

Went here for the first time a few months ago and keep going back! It has got to be some of the best Indian I've had in Adelaide. Great friendly service each time we've been. Strangely it's never very busy! I've enjoyed knowing of this little gem for a while, I'm sure it won't be long until its buzzing with full tables.
Our "go to" for indian. Whether dining in or grabbing some takeaway on our way home "Taste of Bollywood" always delivers fast, tasty food that really satisfies our curry cravings.
The Malai Kofta is a menu item that is not to be missed and often stolen by my meat eating boyfriend.

LOVE THE FOOD. I love indian food and have always drove past this place and it always seems quiet. Decided to bite the bullet and give it go, and i'm so glad i did, i ordered the butter chicken and lamb korma with a side of raita and rice.
The elements combined together was amazing, i will definately be back again, so cheap too.

The Best Indian food in Adelaide. I have been fortunate to work near this restaurant, and have been a regular since they opened. I do love indian food, and take every oppotunity to enjoy, travelling all over the place to great eateries all over Australia. But none compare to the brilliance of Taste of Bollywood. Those that rate other Indian food restuarants as number one just havent been here! Food, service, pricing, friendliness everything 10 out of 10 every time. Do yourself a favour ,check them out for lunch ($8.90 specials) or dinner.

Brilliant! This a gem of the west! Consistently amazing food and great service everytime (which is pretty much at least once a week!). Free delivery within 5kms - if you're a local don't look any further for fantastic Indian! If you're not local it's definitely worth the drive.

Food was fantastic, service was great. The staff were so supportive of my one year old exploring the entire restaurant, and didn’t even bat an eyelid at the mess he made.
