No care taken any more, chicken pieces far too big and chewy with lots of gristle and fat, and broth had barely any taste or seasoning. Definitely not a rich deep flavour like one would expect with Laksa. Very watered down, no heat behind it & bland. Waste of money.

I hadn't been to Laksa House @ Central Market for over a year. They used to take more care. Chicken pieces getting too big for the mouth and Sunday the chicken was tough and not beautiful soft like I remember. The bowl was now 90% noodles & 1% bean shoots. The overly huge chicken pieces were lying on top of the noodle bulk, exposed to the air. Disappointed, but used to be good.

Always fresh and tasty. Recommend the vego laksa. They also do rice noodles if you’re looking for GF.

Richard & Sophie are are lovely team that have prepared many, many laksa for me over the years. My wife and I used to come to the food hall before her stroke. Now I continue to come once or twice a week as my speciasl treat. The laksa is the star dish here but not the only one by any means. There is a bar stall next door for a beer, wine, or just a coke. The hall itself has a wide variety of other food outlets here if the Laksa House don't have what you're craving. There are also outlets in Flinders, Hutt, and King William streets if you want to grab a quick bite during your lunch break from the office.

Really average overall. Rough cut, hair infested, skin on chicken with mostly brown meat. Tiny peices of tofu and, strangely, sticks of cucumber? The broth was good. Far better options for a great Laksa.

Not as good as it to used to be but still the best in Adelaide.
The large serve is now what used to the small serve and the small serve is $1 cheaper.

Love the laksa, especially the vegetable laksa. Take-away orders are packed with care.

Always same great bowl of tasty Laksa. Love it!

I love eating here, the staff have always been so friendly and polite and the laksa is huge and so delicious! If your in the Central Market make sure you go and check them out

Generous serves, rapid service, reasonable prices.

Not exactly a big smiling welcome, but it was efficient and effective.

The Laksa soup was pretty good although not as rich and complex as some I've had. Pretty good all up

Swung in with the wife on. Friday. Fast service, but surprised no EFTPOS. That being said, meal came pronto! Dumpling laksa for us both. Very generous serving and great bite to it. Very much enjoyed it and would happily do it again!

I had laksa noodle (with egg noodle) which portion was big. I didnt have to wait for a long ime to get my food and the staff was also friendly although they were so busy taking the order and organizing it. The laksa soup was very rich. The combination of spices and coconut milk was very good and tasty. They were also generous with the toppings.

Confused with all those dishes offered in the market plaza's foodcourt, finally there was a piece of paper stuck at the wall with content 'The Best Laksa Soup'. So I thought why not I try this. Ordered a small Mee Hoon Laksa cost only AUD 9...and turned out it was one of the best laksa I've eaten so far. The bold spicy soup really kicked my tastebud and also warmth the night. The generous filling of tofu, chickens, prawns, fish cakes and cucumber filled up my tummy. Truly a perfect dish for this cold weather. By the way, they also serve other dishes such as Hor Fun (rice noodle) and Fried rice and they also looked good too...maybe I will go back tomorrow to try it.

I love a good food court and I can't wait for the renos to be completed in the older food court, as that was my favourite! Anywho! Decisions decisions, soooo hard! Settle on Laksa, I think? Yes, that will do. Ordered the dumpling Laksa, fantastic huge serve, reasonable stock, dumplings were excellent and plenty of them. I would have killed for some Asian veg in there, but that's okay, was pretty good value. Would defo return!

For a place that call itself Laksa House, you expect top level, well it was adequate, simply pedestrian, the Laksa wasn't so overwhelming that it stood out. I eat plenty of laksa, and this one was a one pot different ingredients.

Amazing! The laksa is so so full of flavours and they are quite generous as well with their soups. Craving for a good laksa, please go here! The only remark is that they could serve their soup a bit more hot than they do now.

Is laksa. Is tasty AF. What else do ya need m8!? Probs loaded with 'secret' but whatever. It's delicious. Grab yaself a little ginger beer or coca cola too while you're here. A perfect match 🍻

This place offers super good laksa. I've tried a few different meals from here apart from the laksas such as the curry Singapore noodles and the wet ho fun both of which are really nice flavoursome meals. The laksas are awesome. Beautiful spicy coconut milk with my favourite being the seafood laksa. The only complaint I would have is that there are a lot of bean sprouts used in the laksa. I don't mind bean sprouts but sometimes it's a bit overdone.
The Streets Of Adelaide
The best laksa in Adelaide, it's a fact! My favourite is the seafood followed by the pork dumpling. So flavourful, the right amount of spicy. Omg get on my belly now!
Laura
Delicious but confusing! The vegetarian laksa is amazing - I loved the dumpling one - but when you ask about the ingredients (to check if they use shrimp paste and condensed milk) you get given different answers. No vegetarians/vegans I know seem to be able to get a straight answer so have stopped going. It's a worry when staff don't know what's in their own products.

Best Laksa Every Time. I've tried all their variations and this is the best I've found in Adelaide. Hands down. Best. Would recommend to anyone looking for a proper Malaysian laksa.

Laksa House - Central Market - Being let slide for their newest venture.. As a devoted patron of Laksa House i was very disappointed at my last visit for Seafood Laksa. I was worried that upon the opening of their newest addition in Hutt Street that the market stall would suffer. It has. The recipe was different the vegetables not sliced as finely the tofu tuff and the fish rubbery. I probably will look elsewhere and won't be returning to the market shop front. I used to walk away with the flavours dancing in my mouth feeling very fresh. This time I couldn't wait to find that chewing gum to cleanse my pallet.

Best Laksa in Adelaide. They are called Laksa House for a very good reason. Cant wait til their new joint opens up on Hutt St (Feb 2015) More menu items to choose from!

Best vegetarian laksa!. There aren't many places where you can get laksa that is truly vegetarian. Most places use an animal stock and/or shrimp paste. Laksa House in the market offer a veg laksa without the nasty extras and it's bloody delish!
Jude
Ordered combo laksa - not much seafood or meat. It was ok not the best I have ever had.
Wade Stephenson
Had the seafood laksa, very salty, very little seafood ......
Foodchick
I've enjoyed their Laksa noodle in the past but will be giving them a miss from now on. Seafood Laksa with seafood extender, cold pre-cooked prawns, cold deep fried fish on top of a hot but very oily broth was not pleasant.
Wei
So so. Ordered seafood laksa for $10.80. Not really value for money with I got lots of seafood extender. Laksa was flavorful but no mee hoon (vermicelli) and cucumber was dry. I will keep trying elsewhere.
Alex McQuinn
Really good laksa, at a great price.
