Review T Bar - Tea Salon - Adelaide

went in for some Darjeeling and was helped by a very nice woman. they have a great range. I bought the Darjeeling and she gave me some samples of several other teas. The teas are not the cheapest around, so this is probably for a real tea lover. Maybe a good gift for a tea lover. they have a few tea pots etc.

I was recently given samples of 3 different teas and none of them had any flavour. The chai tasted like black tea, the sleep tea was an extremely mildly flavoured tea - almost just like hot water, and the English breakfast was also extremely lacking.

An amazing company with such helpful people. Nothing was too much trouble. I never realized that there were so many sorts of tea. Any question I had was promptly answered by a person who really knew what they were talking about. It’s refreshing to see such professionalism

Great decor and friendly staff. I didn't have the tea but my partner did and she thought it was great.

Good place to chill after a long shopping in the vicinity. I got my macha latte 😏

Nice place and cozy tea bar inside the old Market. Very good plate and awesome tea. Friendly staff but not the cheapest in town.

Great place! Not just because of all the teas to choose from, but the quality of teas and the tea bags themselves are of high quality. Food is also great and the staff are very friendly. Highly recommended!

Great little spot for a drink, and a light meal/snack! T-Bar is one of those trendy cafes for tea if you're feeling a little fancy, and is located in the Rundle Place food court. Staff were super friendly, and my bacon and cauliflower + cheese soup was just delicious. My Yunnan milk tea was also really good!

Don’t get the smoothie!

Tried ordering the chai latte smoothie ‘the one blended with ice cream’, the counter operator had no idea and continued to go a head and almost made a regular chai latte. After having to correct him a couple of times I was already biting my tongue on the experience so far.

$7.00 dollar later I heard the blender going and was satisfied I was getting what I ordered. Then the order came. Initially I could tell after touching the container there was minimal to no ice cream. I asked the girl that made it if there was any ice cream in it. After one sip of lukewarm rubbish, no creamy texture, no struggling to suck chuncks of ice cream through a straw, I was gutted.

What used to be a favourite treat is now ruined. I can get better at Wendy’s for less.

I was on holiday recently and came across TBar, my good fortune as the place was great, the people very friendly and the prices very competitive. The staff are very knowledgeable about teas and being English I know a little Thank you so much for all of your efforts into making a quality business.

I have been going to T Bar for tea since I was a uni student, and one afternoon exploring in town I stopped by their store in Rundle Place for a snack. I love that you can both have their teas in store/takeaway and buy packets of their tea to brew yourself. On this occassion, I ordered an iced peach green tea and a lemon melting moment to dine in. The iced tea came out in a huge glass with lots of ice and fresh lemon slices inside – yum. The tea had a really lovely peach flavour without being too sweet; was well balanced with the sencha green tea flavour and didn’t have an strong bitterness that some green teas have. The melting moment

We came here to seek refuge on the Fringe opening night when it was just chokers everywhere else. It was such a nice little nook to escape from the crowd for a while.
If you have time, sit inside and be hidden from view so you can just enjoy some QUALI-T (see what I did there) relaxing downtime with your huge range of teas.

Teas aside, the matcha smoothie is an absolute delight as well!

Five-outta-fiveI have been a T-bar-ian on and off for some time now. But recently my love for this great establishment has grow from, occasional dipping of the tea toes to, what's on the menu tea-day?! This is all thanks to the amazing varietea...(of teas)... and their fantastic coffee and staff!
Always a fan!

It was the first time I came here for a T. I chose Jasmine dragon eyes tea, I was suprising there was only one little tea ball in the bottom of the cup. After a while, the tea flavour started to get stronger, which was interesting to know a little tea ball could make the tea full of flavour. Well, the tea tasted good, but just a bit over priced.

Surprisingly great coffee!

Suits me to a Tea.. Both the Rundle Mall and Gouger Street stores are a bright star for South Australian-owned Cafes.
Trendy enough for the latte lads and ladies, cheap enough for students, yet still have the proper knack of letting a good cup of tea steep, that'd impress your mum and grandmother. Not to mention there is always something interesting to look at, smell, try and buy for a leaf and java fan like yourself.
The draw card for me is the amazing iced tea. A choice of black or green tea with delicious natural syrups and fresh garnishes to choose from.
Cup o' tea then, eh?

No South Australian food experience is complete without a trip to the Adelaide Central Markets, or what I refer to as, foodie heaven.

There are three T-bar retail outlets in South Australia. While they are most notable for their range of teas, they also serve light meals and other beverages like hot chocolate. Your reviewer attended the Adelaide Central Plaza outlet recently. The hot ch
