The best churros I have ever had along with the yummy dippings. If you are fond of chocolates or a chocolate lover, this place is definitely for you. Very quick service and friendly atmosphere. Would surely recommend this place.
Perfect churros after long time i could get on. Had the churros for 2 with hazelnut and milky chocolate dip and fresh strawberries.... not to be missed upon the truffle chocolates. Surely coming back again

Visited this place on a chilly evening for some hot churros. We tried the red velvet churro dessert it was heavenly and the mango slush is super delicious. If you are in the mood for some warm gooey churros fresh and hot this is the place to be
Can never really go wrong with San Churro. Their churros have been my absolute favourite for the longest time. Crispy and light on the inside with perfect melted chocolate. Can never have enough and the best part is that they are never TOO sweet. Also love the spanish hot chocolate. A bit too thick and filling but would never be able to finish a big cup of it. Its quite rich.

I took away a huge slice of Raspberry White Chocolate Cheesecake. It was a very decadent dessert, and, for $8.95 was great value for money. The cheesecake did seem like it had been sitting there for a while, though. It wasn't the freshest but it still tasted great.
Always a favourite dessert place of mine. Their white hot chocolate tastes so bomb! Also love their sundaes, and their cakes are really hug as well!
This place is perfect for those with a sweet tooth. I've found that you can get sick of the churros easily as they are battered in oil, but having them with strawberry and banana dipped in chocolate is really nice. The strawberry sundae was also quite nice but should be shared between two people unless you really love chocolate!
I love their desserts and hot chocolate! I've had someone gift me with their cubes of chocolate too and they were delicious, I wish they'd given me more!
Great dessert choices. I ordered the San churro chocolate cake and a Spanish hot chocolate with mint... The cake was incredibly rich... I could feel the onset of diabetes with each mouthful I took. I couldn't finish it. I have a mouth full of sweet teeth, but this was far too sweet for me. The hot chocolate was lovely and reminded me of an arnotts mint slice. The scoop of lemon curd ice cream was amazing! My wife had the donut/pancake hybrid (can't remember the name) and it was very nice indeed.
Love Love LOVE! There's always a 2nd stomach for dessert and the San churro hot chocolate, peanut butter hot chocolate, tea, chai and fondue (fun to say fun to do!😊) platters are the best! Will continue coming here!
Haven't been to San Churro in a while but today they had buy one get one free funnel cakes, which is a new dessert San Churros is running, and it was damn delicious! Each time I go to San Churros the staff are always friendly and attentive,which i really appreciate in a food business.
On to the dessert themselves. Their funnel cakes are made to almost perfection, with a crisp golden outside and soft inside, they were on point. I also picked up their classic El Marshmallow Hot Chocolate, and it was sweet! like really sweet! Your dentist will hate you for drinking it, but I don't care what my dentist thinks, because it was so damn good!
If you're in the mood to satisfy your sweet tooth then definitely hit this place up! all the desserts and cakes are very sweet and big!Wasn't really a fan of the truffles and hot chocolates as it was a bit too sickly
I just luv this place. The Churros are fantastic, the Dips are decadent and the Staff are just lovely. The plating is spot on too. Need I say more. I'm going back soon.

a year ago when i stayed in adelaide. my pals took me to this place and as u can see from their name 'churro', yap! their churro is amazing! love it so much, their dip is good and they do have several types of churro-set that you can taste. from single to super big portion. their price is quite affordable to. my friend and i were quite often to go to this place if we are craving for their churro or simply, hot chocolate. i also taste their ice cream sandwich, i know its sweet but it didn't give me any nausea feeling or something like that, i think they just provide a balance texture of it, which is good. other things that i tried is their coffee, as u know that australian really likes coffee like no one else (lol), i could say that they serve it pretty good for the dessert place. anyone around australia (adelaide) should at least once go and try this place!

I do like this place but it depends on what you order here as to whether it's good value. The churros are overpriced (but sign up for free birthday churros!) but I love their cold hot chocolate and other hot chocolate drinks. Don't go for the atmosphere or service and you won't be disappointed!
Amazing!. I was told to visit this place by a friend so the other night me and my sister stopped by. The food was awesome and our waiter, Daniel, provided us with exceptional service. I would recommend grabbing their churros as they are to die for. Will definitely be back!

A nice chocolate experience from a franchise. I've been looking forward to coming here ever since this place opened up, being a professed chocoholic I was all for tasting the wonders of churro and chocolate. The place inside is nice, with good seat selections, the staff were friendly and promptly came over to our table to take our order.
My friend and I shared the fondue for 2 which had mini churros, fudge, fruit and pretzels to dip in milk chocolate, we also ordered a pot of caramel dipping sauce. I had the dark hot chocolate, while my friend had the milk hot chocolate. Everything arrived within a good amount of time, we didn't have to wait long (this was on a Sunday arvo with more than half of the place filled with other patrons). The fondue was nice, the dipping milk chocolate was of good quality but a little too sweet for me (I love me some dark, dark chocolate), the churros were ok, really they are just fried hot dough - I wasn't very excited by them.
My favourite thing was the hot chocolate, the froth was just right, the rich dark chocolate was hot and smooth, I asked what the % of their drinking dark chocolate is and the waiter was nice enough to find out for me (their dark chocolates only go up 60% btw). Next time I'll try the Spanish dark chocolate and see how it compares.
In all, a nice, relaxing dessert experience, even for a franchise their food was of good quality. Although I would say it's standard dessert fare, nothing really to get excited about in terms of taste or presentation. Indulge in their dark chocolate items if you can, and you'll taste the quality then.

Amazing!. A great place to catch up with friends. The Sundaes are to die for! My friend had the Churros for one. The Churros came out warm with a fair amount of cinnamon. They started to get really busy while we were there which saw a bit more time taken to get the food to the tables and orders taken but the service made up for that completely!
Will definitely be back!
Great Selection. It was hard to make a decision as there is a lot on the menu. We had the peanut butter hot chocolates - was nice, though next time i'd get something different - the peanut butter didn't melt into the drink enough for my liking and concentrated on the bottom of the mug. But that's personal preference as my sister loved it. The fruit fondue was really nice, delicious chocolate dipping sauce. The churros were average - not the freshest i've had, but good enough to eat the whole lot. Service was friendly and efficient, i'd go back and try something else next time.

San Churro is fantastic! The staff were lovely, greeting us at the door and offering recommendations while we reviewed the menu, there's so much to choose from and it all sounds so good. We ended up ordering the fondue for two and it was delicious, it came with a range of snacks to dip and the option of white, milk or dark chocolate. We will definitely be returning!

Yummy and great venue. The shop is open during the day too, so if waiting isn't your thing it's so easy to get a table any other time of the day. I don't want to wait in line so I don't bother going for actual dessert and be warned, there will be a line!
I think it is good value for money too and their chocolate is really tasty! I had never tried a churro before coming here and I thought they tasted SO yummy! I tried them with the caramel dipping sauce and I generally don't like caramel but it was one of the yummiest things I've ever tried. I'm yet to try any of their drinks but I've heard all good things. I think the service was a bit all over the place but once when I went I was served by a trainee so you can't really blame them. Every other time it's been fine and friendly! And fast too!

Delicious! Tuesday afternoon, beaten the lunch crowd, not that anyone should have churros for lunch but why not?? Getting order taken a bit slow but food came out fast. Churros best eaten while still hot and with dipping sauce, got dark choc and caramel! Yummy!! Will return with more people to try more things!

I've been a few times for take aways and sat down for food on a saturday night, had the churros for one. They are exactly like I had in spain, crunchy and delicious. I highly reccomend the peanut butter shake.
Customer service wise, had a lovely chat to one of the girls, definitely knew what she was talking about. She had long blonde hair, can't remember her name. A few times I watched the food sit there waiting to come out but again, it was super busy.
Don't take all these bad reviews too seriously, go find out yourself!

Great place for a catchup, especially the outdoor seating for larger groups which most dessert caged are lacking in. I've have chirps better elsewhere, these tasted like they were frozen and then refried, but they indeed hit the spot!d efinitely recommend!

Great dessert spot. San Churro was a fav spot of mine in Sydney so I was excited to see them open up on Rundle Street. I've been twice now and while the desserts aren't the best I've ever had (San Churros isn't claiming to be a 5 star place!), it's still a great spot to catch up with friends and family. It's spacey with a modern, stylish decor and the retail section has cool gifts (macarons, truffles, blocks of chocolate) that you can pick up on your way out. As for the menu, the hot drinks have always been a favourite of mine and they're just as good as I remembered. The cold drinks (I tried the peanut butter basos and the iced chocolate) had good flavours but were very milky and runny rather than a frappe/thickshake consistency. The serving sizes are huge - you can easily share one drink between two. The churros were okay, I agree with other reviewers that they were a bit crispy but both the caramel and chocolate dipping sauces were good. There are gluten free and sugar free options on the menu so there's something for everyone. The service was fine, there wasn't a long wait at any point (and we went on a busy Thursday night) and I like that it's table service. All the waiting staff seem to be really friendly and outgoing. Will definitely be back to try out the ice cream and the other desserts :)

Firstly I want to say that the 2 times that I've been to San Churro I have really enjoyed it. Everything I ordered not only came out pretty quickly (even though one time the entire restaurant was filled when we arrived) and tasted incredible. To the people saying the staff are slow etc, think about it, it's a new business to Adelaide and it is the first time most of the staff have worked in this type of environment so give them a break! But if you want something incredible that I have/will always order get the Dulce De Leche (or in English it's the Spanish caramel milkshake). I will definitely be back!
