Excellent, authentic Japanese food. I went here for a work Christmas dinner and all of us thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Huge range of foods, definitely something for everyone! Will be going back ASAP!
Best Japanese food in Adelaide!!! Sashimi platter was absolutely amazing. Very fresh, very affordable price. Amazing Raman broth as well. Definitely will return.
For the love of food, this is fantastic!
Even I'm drooling making this review thinking of going back there again soon.
The staffs are really accomdating and friendly, ambience is always good and calm.
Food is amazing. I always order these two mains;
1. Mazesoba - dry ramen. It has minced pork and comes with boiled egg and rice! You eat the rice after with the broth remains. Honestly, I think the rice is unnecessary as the ramen size is big and filling but we always lovr extra free stuff 😂
2. Pork belly ramen - always the bomb. Not greasy and pork doesn't smell strong.
Staffs always top up your water and very attentive. Would always enjoy coming to this place.
Have been wanting to go here for ages. Finally did the Friday lunch visit today. Quite busy. Food that we had was great. Too many choices = We will have to return.
Hidden little gem! Food was exceptional - sashimi super fresh (some even fresh from Japan's famous fish market too!), skewers well seasoned, wagyu to die for!! The chef also personally came to explain the sashimi we ordered too which i really appreciated. I will definitely be back!
From the outside, the restaurant may not look much, but head in to give it a shot. You wont be disappointed.
The only negative is that the service staff weren't quick enough to clean up the empty dishes cos we ate too fast!
Really enjoyed this restaurant and the wide range of options offered on the menu! Best Japanese that I've had yet in Adelaide and thank you to the staff for being accomodating to us
Really delicious ramen at affordable prices! I had the hakuryu, which was really flavourful. The noodles were a tad too soft for my liking, so I'd definitely get very hard noodles next time. The soup base was a tad too salty, but nevertheless, it was a delicious bowl of noodles.
Food was delicious, service was great!! Only downside was the waitresses were very busy and forgot to order our drinks, but they were very nice and apologetic.
Hands down best ramen in Australia!!! We’ve always loved Gensuke Hakata and thought they were better than Ipudo Sydney but Himeji is even better!!!! The condiments are fresh and not salty. Noodles are not over cooked and the chasu pork is absolutely devine. The service was so so and the high chairs dont have belts!!!! Not as family friendly but id come back any day to try more of their other dishes. Note the broth is a bit on the thick side and fatty but hey it still tastes so good.
Holy moly. That was one of the best meals my partner and I have had in a very long time. The karaage, takoyaki and bao buns were on point, juicy and packed full with flavour! The atmosphere was also perfect for a romantic evening and service was very friendly. Could not fault the experience at all. I look forward to coming back to try the other dishes!
Alot of items on the menu and pages of different drinks. Great atmosphere and great place for a one on one dinner experience. Just don't over order or it can get pricey
Food taste better than it looks.
We had a party of 12, with a booking made. Service was really good and atmosphere was nice. Price is not too bad and portion was reasonable for the price. Their sushi rolls were pretty good as well. Worth a try, but due to its location, find it hard to come back.
Great place to eat ramen. The temperature of the ramen was good. The karage was crispy and juicy. The vibe is awesome too.
The food itself tastes good. The establishment is furnished pretty well and sets a very relaxed vibe. The ramen was okay, substantial enough to get full - a 7.5/10. The nigiri was interesting in terms of its flavour but was good overall - 8/10.
Good foods and fresh sushi. Ramen broth utterly scrumptious. Recommended to book in advance
Best place I have found for Ramen. Always has great food on any level so no matter what you pick you will be pleasantly surprised.
Only issues is their opening hours which I wish was longer and the fact that you can't just walk in you need a reservation if you want to get a table.
