An excellent little cafe that does everything simple at a good price. Spent $11 for breakfast here including coffee and left feeling quite content. If you're looking for something extravagant, look elsewhere - but if you want simple, friendly service and good food - this is the place to be.
What a sensible little cafe. Well priced, quant size and friendly staff. The range of foods are small but the brioche with poached egg and crispy pancetta was a tasty little morsel at a reasonable price. I think that is why this place rates so well. It's away from the main N.Adelaide strip but across the road from a butcher and a baker (candle stick maker went bust). The coffee was on the stronger side but sometimes it's nice to break up what can sometimes be quite sweet coffees from many of the local roasters. I'm not sure on what beans they were but it was good good.
Great little cafe for a quite Saturday morning. European in feel and menu and bypasses the big brekkies so many places are doing for simple and small.
A very warm welcome to Kamahl & his new attentive staff @ Caffeteca Clap, clap, clap. We are apart of the North Adelaide Primary School regular parent/student brigade that grace Caffeteca every sweet school morning & we are grateful for the "welcoming hellos & have a lovely day" greetings we receive from Kamahl & his wonderful staff. You are all doing gorgeously & Jackson is doing an outstanding Barista job in pumping out those cappuccino's, latte's, short blacks etc. when you lovelies are flat out!
Your personal service is gold!
Wishing you all a very long future @ Caffeteca, bravo!
Cheers always!

Beautiful People. If only the walls @ gorgeous Caffeteca could talk with all the beautiful people that fill it with much importance each & every day of the week - school mummies, dads, kids, socialites, locals, etc. ♥♥♥ it is such a beaut place to congregate too all the time.
Maria, Rosey & their outstanding Team are terrific @ welcoming all to their cozy, happ'ning cafe which offers grand coffee, very yummy brekkies, lunch & delish gourmet biccies, yummy cakes & the choice is endless to tantalise all taste buddies.
Beautiful food, lovely coffee.. Customer service is great and everyone is so friendly. The zeppoli and panna cotta was amazing. Definetly recommend.
Both natural muesli and fontina utterly delish.
My husband often come here but it was only my secound visit today. I love this little cafe very much. I had PIADINA SOPRESSA for lunch. It has very fresh taste but very complex favour as well between spicy salami and mushroom. Also I can't miss my favorite Portugeuse Tart. It is delightful!!! Hard to wait for my nest visit.
Buzzing! Thank urbanspoon - you've done it again. I was honed in like a bear to a beehive. This place is pumping this morning. A lot of people say its all about location but Caffeteca is testament to the fact that if you have a good product, people will find you. Service was quick and pleasant. Price was appropriate and food (fresh fruit salad with honey and yoghurt) - beautiful! Thank you Caffeteca - keep up the great work!
Exceeded great expectations. Its great every now and then to not only to have your expectations realized, but actually exceeded. Having read some of the favorable reviews I was worried that I might be disappointed - not so. The food, coffee and fresh juice are all great. Its also the really comfortable and relaxed atmosphere inside - the staff are friendly but not intrusive. Now been a couple of times and will certainly go back soon.
I've driven past this place opposite Perryman's bakery hundreds of times since it opened two years ago and never noticed it. Now I'm paying attention. Excellent coffee and piadina, if on the pricey side. At $9.50, this tasty flat bread is about the same price as Cibo but fuller, fresher and doughier. It also comes on its own wooden board. Good free wifi spot.
Beautiful food and cakes, best coffee in Adelaide.
This is a very Melbourne style cafe in the heart of North Adelaide and a stones throw from Medindie. I had the Piadina with scambled eggs and crispy pancetta and it was fantastic. A long bench table is available for single diners and outdoor tables. I had driven past it many times and dropped in on Australia Day for a late brunch/lunch.I am so glad I did.
We've recently discovered a great little cafe hiding in Tynte Street, North Adelaide called Caffeteca. It's across the road from Perryman's Bakery. Caffeteca feels more like a little cafe you might find in Melbourne or Sydney. Find a table and place your order at the counter.
Great coffee and pastries. Friendly service too. Nice decor and comfortable seats.
Great place with awesome atmosphere that all the staff I am very kind and friendly. The meal is a little bit expensive but still OK. It’s cozy and comfortable place that suitable for people to have a little chitchat or get relaxed!
Very nice coffee shop with a pretty high standard of coffee. Surprisingly open even on public holidays.
They didn't have any decent breakfast option except pastry but the coffee was exceptionally good. There are some fresh newspapers on the table so you can enjoy reading news while having your drink.
Incredible coffee, best in Adelaide with a nice selection of snacks available. Great vibe with a trendy bright feel. Easy parking and super friendly staff makes it an unmissable experience
The Best Coffee in Melbourne street, possibly Adelaide, they never fail and their ham and cheese toasties are the absolute best must try when you visit.
Amazing coffee! The regular coffee was a little smaller than I'm used to and is a little on the expensive side but was absolutely gorgeous coffee
