If you're a person with a sweet tooth but small appetite, these pancakes are PERFECT for you. Two options to choose from with either banana or berries, and these were perfectly crispy on the outside, and fluffy on the inside. Awesome coffee too. Waited a little longer than ideal but it was a busy Sunday after all, so make sure you be mindful of the time if you're on your way somewhere. Lovely atmosphere.

The coffee was delicious and the presentation was good but the food was cold and very minimal. I ordered the avocado crush, it came with half a slice of bread and the eggs were cold. The salad was a nice touch and the hash brown was cooked to perfection and hot. My fiancé ordered the big breakfast, the serve of eggs was not enough to cover both pieces of bread, he was given half a sausage and his food was also cold. Overall, pretty disappointed, we won't be returning.

Empty cafe however after waiting 20 minutes and chasing up the staff member, she was incredibly rude, especially defensive when I confirmed my order as she had brought out milk on the side with other coffee, replying "I've only 2 hands". Considering the wait time and price, I was very surprised by her rudeness. Won't recommend.

Great food, friendly service, awesome coffee... What more can you ask for...

Food was delicious, service was fantastic, and the atmosphere is cosy. Great option for brunch. Seats we used were a bit uncomfortable, but there were other types available.

It’s a lovely Italian coffee shop. The cafe and brekkie is a amazing. The Italian staff is super friendly. We enjoy our time here, thank you

I've enjoyed excellent breakfasts and lunches here, and the quality and care taken is outstanding. Delicious flavours and excellent attention to customers. Love the daily specials of iced teas too!

Loved their iced long black - they blend the coffee with ice cubes to create this gorgeous foam and then serve in with pasta as a straw. Genius!!! 😇🧡

Great spot for lunch. We sat out street side in the sun and enjoyed some great food and coffee. Avo Crush with chicken was spot on. Strong latte was also on the money. Friendly staff and quick service.
Will be back!

This is some of the best coffee we've had since arriving in Australia... Strong, hot chocolatey roast, friendly service, and a lovely environment. Would definitely recommend.

Felici Espresso Bar is a spacious cafe located along Rundle Street, and we were drawn in on yet another lovely weekend morning by the great options for alfresco seating. However, the food and coffee were a tad disappointing.

We ordered two long blacks, both of which tasted very different. One of them was quite strong and sour, while the other was much more watery and bland. The omelette was a little on the oily side, and not as creamy as we'd hoped.
Fitmar
Fantastic little cafe in such a convenient spot on Rundle street. I found the owner and the manager so friendly and they give amazing service. Great coffee, would love to see the food menu slightly extended however it is a small business. Price is fair and quality is high

I went there for breakfast on Sunday morning. The atmosphere is great but the staff wasn't very friendly somehow.... we didn't have any conflict or anything but the counter people seemed inpatient although there weren't many guests in the cafe.... anyway, the food is okay, the cafe is okay and I like its location with the sun and it's style.
FoodieMelbourne
The 3.2 rating is so wrong. Service was a bit studenty. The salmon salad and halumi salad was first rate. Coffee pretty good also. Give the place a go.
The Munchkin
Love this place. Will go back for their amazing coffees and chai latte .one of the best in adelaide and most importantly they are consistent. They are not expensive either.

What can I say other than they do a mean coffee. Their iced mocha was nice and strong, and I love the little biscuits they serve with their coffees.
Onegreedygirl
The coffee here is always good and the food is pretty decent for a little cafe.

Be warned: this is a popular cyclist spot. There will be lycra.

Has potential. Coffee is awesome. But i just wish theyd do more with the bruschetta. Nice clean food but wish theyd do more with making sure the flavours are as delicious as the food is pretty. Lovely toast but no butter, cream cheese just doesnt meld well in plain toast. And smoked salmon and spinnach being the only other flavours on top with no dressing. I just couldnt go thru with it. Even a bit of lemon juice with oil and salt in the spinnach/salmon might have helped.

The coffee is decent, not fantastic. It's a convenient location, on Rundle St. But for some reason, the thing that turns me away is just the general atmosphere. It's not really the nicest place to sit down and enjoy a relaxing coffee. I guess it a tad too busy. #PerksOfBeingCentral

Coffee is nothing special and the staff are too busy talking to serve you. Have only been here when nothing else is open. Do not recommend.
Laura
The coffee is pretty average, never very good, but what's worse is that the staff are always so rude. I've been many times when I've needed a coffee and none of the smaller, quality shops are open and every time have been annoyed at how the staff have acted as if they aren't there to make coffee.

Amazing Mocha Espresso! Well worth to stop by if you're in the area!!. I've been there several times while visiting Adelaide and have always been happy with the quality of their espresso and baked goods! Well worth it if you're on the area :-)

Nice double shots latte Ni.... Nice double shots latte
Nice food ~crispy sourdough
Like the decor of the cafe as well

Happy. Nice food. Great coffee. Quick service. What more could you ask for on a Monday morning!

Most Amazing Ham and Cheese Croissant ever.... ...though not in a good way.

Went here late Saturday afternoon. Friendly service and ordered latte, iced chocolate peppermint chocolate slice and aforesaid ham and cheese croissant.

Coffee unremarkable - not bad, not great. Iced chocolate seemed pretty decent. Mint slice - which, let's face it, they probably buy in, was fine.

But the croissant... it arrived on a plate with a knife and fork and nothing else. A little salad or something might have been nice. The croissant itself was pretty big and quite dry like it wasn't the freshest. But here's the aazing part. They'd manage to toast it so that it was burnt in one part, but still only lukewarm and they'd managed to melt the cheese while keeping the ham cold from the fridge.

Burnt and lukewarm, cold and melted. A pretty impressive effort.

Poor customer service but good coffee. A Sunday morning. Waited over 5 mins to order coffee. Not told there would be a long wait. It took 25 mins for 3 take-aways! It was like Fawlty Towers except without the humour. Two confused girls kept travelling between the kitchen and outside with plates that they failed to match appropriately to waiting customers. Will never return!
Tizza42
Wanted a light lunch. Ordered soup of the day which tasted down roasted vegetable. Came with some oversize toast. Washed it down with Fruit of Eden used tea.
Adelaide Foodie
Amazing and unique breakfast offering on Rundle Street!!. I ordered a little Mediterranean feast for breakfast and wasn't disappointed!! The eggs were perfectly poached, the crushed avocado beautifully spiced and my coffee was creamy, hot and flavoursome. This is a busy little cafe with a comfortable homey feel to it. The staff are nice and my food was served quickly, despite all the other customers.
Marek
Very disappointed- how can you runout of fresh juice? Don't offer a product if you can't supply it - all I wanted was a juice!
Dee
Lunch. Great food, great presentation, great price. will go back

Very good food. One of the WORST customer service....

Rude staff, mixed up my order and then started arguing !! Wow what a customer service !

Worst cafe I've been to. Took 30 mins for the owner to take my order at the counter. She kept on walking outside to the door and back to the till again trying to control everything her staff do. Instead of taking our table number for our order trying to remember us by our faces and orders. My wife's lunch went to another table, back to the the counter and then instead of asking who ordered the food, the owner and the girl at the counter then sold it to another guy who just walked in. Why have table numbers and not use them. We ended up cancelling our entire order. We lost 2 hours of our weekend in this cafe.
Nigel Earnshaw
Quirky setting and a rather frosty welcome from the waitress. Combine that with the lack of table service and I almost walked out.

Lucky I didn't... The coffee was very good, served at the right temperature and the avocado smash with poached egg was very good - the large piece of toasted bread was both crispy and light and fluffy... I have no ideas how they did that and it was remarkably good.

Overall it's a above average place to get coffee and breakfast, if you can get over the fact that the staff take themselves a little too seriously. I'll come back.
Vanessa Escorpion
Love the interior of this place. I tried to order a pizza at 2:06pm but the kitchen closes at 2pm. Fair enough... I guess. Ended up with a tuna salad. Delicious but same as any other tuna salad. Tried cinnamon tea. Kinda just like hot water with a cinnamon stick. Staff were friendly. I love the blackboard with all the poems and quotes on it. I'll try to go back again and taste what the real food is like.
Greg Johnson
Both tattooed girls hav gone so I suppose no more good coffee. Won't be there any more.
Amy_shapeup
Love Felici. Boy, this place was almost too busy the morning we visited, could hardly get a seat. Tried the spicy sausage lebanese style pizza as well as the avocado on sour dough with two eggs, one simply wasn't enough. Also loved the iced coffee and the jars they're served in, bargain for $5!!! Only let down - they were short on staff, you need more hands on deck ASAP! Everybody working on the day was LOVELY though!!!
Maggie Ronde
Takes 20 to get your food and then it's not even what you ordered. If you are going to eat here don't even think about asking for anything except exactly what's on the menu. The front staff tell the kitchen staff many times what it is while you're standing there and then they still get it wrong! Unacceptable!!!
Jess White
The coffee and food are beautiful and the staff are generally lovely but the place is always filled with dirty dishes and rubbish. This is not to say that the staff don't work because the two or at most three staff I see on at a time are always rushed off their feet. There's only so much a couple of people can do when it's busy.
And the ladies who work in the kitchen are a bit invasive. I've been approached on three occasions about food quality... While I'm still trying to eat it. I would appreciate finishing my meal in peace. Not to mention the way they speak to the staff, it's completely inappropriate.
Diana Torres
Oily...very, very oily.

Avoid Sundays, but... We visited Adelaide last weekend and thought we'd have breakfast in the city. We had coffee and brekky here on Sat and Sun. Waited for a table outside for about five/ten minutes both days, coffee took about ten to come out but we didn't mind. My partner and I shared the avocado crush and the spinach with egg, so yummy. The orange and lime juice is nice too, love the jars. We'll definitely visit again next time we're in town, despite the crowd and slight wait, it was worth it. Friendly staff too! =)

Didn't want to review this the first time I went in as I suspected they were having a bad day. Then the second time. And the third. Maybe it's not a bad day, oops! The coffee is decent and the atmosphere is uber trendy, light streaming in from the windows and quirky wallpaper, crates to sit on etc. Lovely. I just can't shake my years as a Cafe manager, and am distracted by details - the coffee area was utterly filthy and chaotic with dirty dishes everywhere, the counter needs wiping (so do many of the other surfaces). The glasses need to be checked, twice now I've had glasses with someone else's lipstick still crusting the rim. The staff are abrupt and curt when they are busy, which is often. It's just the little details, keeping the place tidy, the coffee area tidy and organised, the coffee machine maintained (you have to wipe and sterilise the milk spout far, far more often!), the dirty dishes out of sight... makes all the difference. A bit more effort from the very young staff would go a long way.

FAILici more like. I'm not a big fan of Rundle Street. Full of over-priced restaurants that serve distinctly average food. Well this place is the Espresso bar equivalent. But they have some 'edgy' staff with personality so it's cool right?

No, actually. I think there were a grand total of 11 people in the place yesterday yet it still took 15 minutes to bring me my coffee, which admittedly wasn't that bad. But lets be honest, that's the minimum requirement, so congrats for completing your role to the expected standard. There seems to be as many staff as there are patrons, mostly standing around chatting. What really pi$$ed me off though was that coffees were seemingly taken outside to a table (who ordered after me) before mine so as one of the whacky employees could get a look at some cute little dog out there. I should have foreseen this sorry experience by looking at the sheer amount of customers across the road at the other cafes compared to this nugget. As I say, it would be disingenuous of me to say the coffee was crap, because it wasn't, but I'd probably go back for a 2nd visit even if it was average as long as I felt looked after. Doubt I'll be going back.

Breakfast Wrap!. If you haven't tried the breakfast wrap here you haven't lived. It's a bacon (perfectly cooked, crispy), egg and relish wrap, served toasted. Get amongst it people.

Coffee used to be better when they served it with the little biscotti. Now all you get is a chocolate covered bean with your drink. Bring back the biscuits! Coffee quality has somewhat declined this year.

Finally found one of the best coffees in Adelaide. If I lived in the area, I know where I'd go for my morning coffee

Consistently inconstant coffee. Latest weak like hot milk.

Coffee great. Service grea.... Coffee great.
Service great.
SORT OUT YOUR TAKE AWAY CUPS I spilt my coffee on myself.

Thought we would try it, as my regular hang out was unavailable, thanks to the roadworks on rundle street. Coffee ok, food, well if you want no choice, then this is the place for you. Not me. Cant wait until footpath finished on the other side of Rundle st. We wont be back here.
Eleanor
Great coffee. We went here for brunch this morning, the coffee was great as was the food (we had a ciabatta and a salad) and good service. A good choice!
Franklin
Ok so it's a Sunday but terse staff and cold coffee doesn't make for a good afternoon experience. Have some fun guys, and make warmer milk.
Kate Munro
Great coffee, yes. However waiting for over an hour for a sandwich is ridiculous. Additionally, losing the order and not offering a free coffee as an apology is bad service and shows that the staff have no concept of how to run a cafe. I've worked in a cafe for 5 years and I am disappointed by my experience at Felici. I expected at least a satisfactory sandwich and customer service. Make sure you keep reminding staff that you made an order, they obviously forget.
Appetite For Change
Love the coffee!. Hard to find decent coffee, but they have got it right here - lovely rich smooth flavour.
Randall Rose
It's all good. Visited felici yesterday now that the footpath has been re-done. More outside seating now making it all the more better to sit outside and enjoy the northern sun while enjoying my short mac. Coffee is great. Just right. Perhaps the owners should now consider opening later i.n the warmer months
Casual SA Diner
The short black was about 2mls, tasty but way too short. Staff had the usual snobby attitude standard for Rundle street which really let it down. Too cool to be a waiter? Learn to play a guitar before you act like a rock star.

Every time I walk past Felici, it’s always full. I’m not sure whether it’s all the foot traffic that goes past or whether they just serve great food and beverages. Anyway, it was time to find out. The food menu is written on a chalkboard along the main wall. There are a handful of basic breakfast options, an even smaller selection of lunch offerings and pizza.
Daisy Yum (daisyumblog)
There are many cafes down Rundle Street, but stylish and funky there may be a handful. Felici is one of them. I came here before but didn't remember that they offered breakfasts. Then I noticed that there was change of management, nice!
I Only Eat Desserts
Famous for their coffees which I haven’t tried yet as I automatically became a magnet to the dessert cabinet once I stepped in. Felici offers a variety of desserts – macarons, slices of cakes, tarts and cake pops. To be honest I think I am a bad judge for coffee since I like everything sweet, oh the woes of having a giant sweet tooth.

Bircher’s museli + English Breakfast tea + Banana Caramel pie = best breakfast combination

Felici is a snazzy little coffee shop at 261 Rundle Street over the road from Al Fresco's . Inside it has mainly bar seating and there are a couple of tables outside. Felici always seems to be well patronised. The hot chocolate was beautifully presented.
