What a fabulous cafe. Very cute with A great atmosphere, friendly and knowledgeable staff. I have now eaten here many times and I love the fact that Rustic uses the best ofSouth Australian produce - and their salads are always original, fresh and tasty. Finally they serve one of the best coffees in Adelaide!! Thank you Rustic Gourmet.
Love the cakes and salads, nice ambience but small place and shared tables so always busy. Make sure you are prepared to take away if you can't find a table.
There's a little nook for the children to play but straight under an electrical cupboard so evety kids just bump their head when they get up without fail. We mentioned that it could be easily fixed by putting something under the cupboard to avoid kids playing under...but it hasn't been addressed yet...so little kids still bump and cry.
Lunch was fantastic, with a good selection of fresh food and great service. A definate for anyone wanting fresh and rustic, as the name suggests, food. Venue a little small but adds to the charm if this little gem
Beautiful food, great ambience, friendly service. Owners should be proud. Quaint cafe with beautiful display of mouth watering delicacies. I had chicken and avocada piadina and hubby had salmon and dill tart. Both sensational. Coffee made to perfection.
Well done guys!!!
Fresh. My husband and I enjoy having coffee and cake here and always leave time before a doctor/dentist appointment to visit . With him being a chef, and myself a barista/baker we are both pretty hard to please.. generally! Our son loves it, with toys for him to play with and a nice atmosphere. I really like their barista too, they've been lucky to find her. It seems every time we walk in, they're removing a freshly baked tray of friands or pastries and I love that!! It's hard to find a place like this. I also love the decor- bowls of lemons and posies from the garden, lovely cookbooks to flick through. They've achieved a real chic/French/country vibe. Well done to them!
Delicious Rustic. We dropped by on a freezing day and were greeted by lovely staff.
It was so warm and cozy inside, we forgot it was so cold outside. Also it was peaceful - you'd never guess it was on Greenhill Rd. We ordered the soup, salad and frittata and it was all delicious. Then we had the persian love cake which was divine.
Thank you ladies - we'll be back...
Absolutely delicious! The best frittata ever and the roast cauliflower and lentil salad was thoroughly nurishing and tasty. The cakes...oh my giddy aunt. Absolutely wonderful! What a wonderful local gem, love the ease of take away and the variety. Keep doing what you're doing!!!
Great anytime!. Loved the coffee and cake on the first visit. Loved the breakfast on the second visit. Loved lunch - can't remember what number visit.
A team passionate about hospitality, about sourcing quality ingredients, and about transforming them to dishes that delight. AND the coffee supports the food.
I have been there regularly since the opening, and will continue. Have invited friends, who have also been delighted!
Recommendation? Try everything, or at least anything that appeals.
Rapidly developing a strong following. Strongly suggest you join them.

Rustic Gourmet is a fantastic place for breakfast, brunch, lunch, morning or afternoon tea or just simply coffee and cake. The meals I have had so far have combined brilliant flavour combinations and all food is house made and always fresh. Although small, this place exudes a real sense of community, has pride in their food and has a really nice contemporary vibe. The Persian Love cake was to die for as was my caramelised onion, goats cheese, sweet potato and roast tomato tart with salad.
Highly recommend! :)
