Review Cafe Di Mare - Adelaide

Stacey Norris
Ordered our breakfast, mine came in about 1 minute which seemed oddly fast. Was extremely oily. They came and told me that they had given me the wrong meal, I said this is what I ordered, so all was good. 3 other people in the restaurant, 20 minutes later my husbands breakfast comes and another serve of what I ordered, which looked much better than what I had just eaten. 25minutes to get our juice as she served all the coffees that came in after us, first. I feel sick from the oil, as my plate was swimming in it. Service was clumsy and so very slow. I overheard them mess up another order and blamed it on being so busy??? There were 5 people in the restaurant! Go find a nice cafe elsewhere! Maccas would even be an improvement unfortunately.

Eating in is great with wonderful coffee makers. Unfortunately room service that is provided to grand chancellor on currie, arrives cold, and small serve for $30-40 plates. And no room service from 10:30am-5:30 because restaurant is closed.

Cafe di mare is a cafe/restaurant attached to the Grand Chancellor Hotel. For a hotel run cafe, the prices are pretty reasonable. Staff are friendly and pretty attentive. Beware of the surcharge on Sundays, which is over the top considering half the menu seems to be unavailable on Sundays (which they'll only tell you when you go to order ...).

Really lovely dinner! The food came really quickly and the service was great. I really recommend the fillet mignon 😋. I can't believe the place was empty on Saturday night

A very nice friendly lady greeted us with a big friendly smile. Coffee & raison bread was beautiful. Will definitely come back next time in town. 😀😀😀😇

The restaurant was nice, rather quiet despite during lunch hour. Had BLT for lunch, taste was average.
