Dinner on the first Saturday of Fringe 2019. Delicious meal, great service and awesome to be out with the people.

One of the best meals we have ever eaten. The lamb fell off the bone, was silky soft and full of flavour. Our only regret was not having enough room for dessert! Our waiter and the owner were also very attentive and knowledgeable. We will definitely be returning. Thank you for a fantastic meal!

We went here two days after they opened. We ordered the steak for 2. It was amazing. The staff were so polite and attentive.
We went there again last Saturday to celebrate our anniversary. Had the pork belly and the fish. Very happy. I wish I knew about the camel steak though. Would have chosen that. Overall a great new restaurant, good wine and a great atmosphere and ambiance. Will go there again soon

Must be new teething issues?
The place is beautifully set up, cosy & inviting.
The front manager/staff was amazing, we were swept off our feet, convincingly sold his part very well & got in the door.
But that’s where it ended. We were the earliest sitting, got our drinks order in first up.
The wait staff then came to take our orders. Unfortunately both staff on the night was not able to deliver service, didn’t know the menu well, they had to run back & forth the kitchen to check with kitchen staff in very simple questions ie specials of the day!
Our our drinks / cocktails orders were forgotten, reminded them several time then when they arrived - the waiter didn’t know what which cocktails were which!
Our entrees came perfect. Then the restaurant was full house, our mains were messed up with orders with tables next to ours & burnt.
Too long of a wait without any real apology so we opted to skip desserts.
The rest rooms needed cleaning & stocking (& that was the beginning of the night!)

Madi is my favourite waitress ever. The food was amazing. The wine was on point (the connoisseur). Thank you. The food was tasty. Some of the best water I've ever had. High expectations for dessert. Excellent name recall (by Madi). Watch out for the exploding spring rolls. Seven satisfied souls.

We were really impressed. Food and service was great. Highly recommend the Meat Lover platter and the duck fat potatoes. Also the desserts! We had 6 dishes to share and all were amazing.

When we arrived we asked why the heating was off it was below Zero in there ... but we were told the aircon was broken
and then they had the back door wide open all night to access the bar area at the back of the restaurant
People were walking out of this restaurant
all night complaining re wait time for meals
we waited 2 hours for food even tho we arrived
before others who were receiving meals before us when our meals finally arrived
they forgot one of the orders so one of our guest had no food that night !!
also
our cocktails were not great and mixed wrongly
also
Nothing is gluten free and if your Vegan only 1 main choice offered and when it was served to my Vegan friend she ate some of it and then was so sick 🤮 the chef put milk and cheese in the bechamel sauce !!
When we asked to speak to the owner we were told
he wasn’t around?
mmm .... that explains everything !!

By far the worst meal I’ve had in a long time.
My wife and I had to wait for over an hour and half only to be badly disappointed. We order the Crispy Duck and “Pigs love apples” (pull pork dish) and what we got was a glorified, tasteless, unassabled yiros and a (not crispy) BBQ chicken from Coles for the duck.
I understand it was Adelaide Fringe time and it can be demanding but it was even that busy compared to other restaurants. There were plenty of tables available. If your chefs can’t handle the demand? I’m sorry but sack em’ because this was totally unacceptable at $33 a meal.
On the bright side, the table service was fantastic with staff costly checking in and apologising.
Don’t go here.
