Review Phat Coffee - Adelaide

We stopped by here for coffee as it came recommended. Coffee was ok wasn't too keen on the flavour, was well presented. Very popular choice for a quick bite

WORST ACAI BOWL I’VE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE. The acai bowl tasted like melted ice because it was 99% water. It didn’t have the consistency of a real acai bowl, it was more like acai soup. The mango smoothie was horrible too. I could have made something better at home for $2, while they charged me $9. Definitely don’t recommend.

this café is great as it’s perfect for those who are on the run needing a well made drink of choice, but also to catch up with friends for coffee & cake. a large selection of delicious pastries, cakes, desserts & drinks are available with vegan options accessible. the atmosphere is often fun, bright & friendly and located in the middle of the city with a slight business. in all, a great place for not only the perfect insta snap but a delicious place to grab a bite! photographed below is their white chocolate & raspberry muffin accompanied with a mocha.

Coffee was good a bit to weak for me. Taste it’s ok depending on beans. Guatemala coffee taste similar. Pumpkins frittata was good, spinach borek great and Phat hot dog - Kranska klobasa authentic!!! Well done.

Lovely service and great coffee! The large size coffee is worth the price tag for taste and quantity alone which can't be said at all places that offer the same. Definitely worth a visit next time you're near UniSA city west Campus!

Excellent service. The food is by far restaurant quality and more. Actually have never eaten a better muffin or pie anywhere else, Juice is freshly squeezed in house. This place is starting to become my favourite place for everything. Keep up the good work guys.

The cafe is just below average. Coffee wasn't good and was just milky. The egg and bacon wrap was okay, but could barely taste the bacon. The food is overpriced knowing that it didn't taste that well. The lady who served in the morning didn't seem happy to have customers. But the other staff were nice. They should work on their customer service and improving their coffee. Good location though, very easy to find.

Good coffee with a chilled atmosphere. Phat Coffee is a decent sized cafe in the uniSA city west district.

I RREEAAAALLLYYYYY wanted to like this place! The coffee was sour and the milk was WAY too hot. I was super sad that the coffee and service was quite miserable. Sorry guys!

Great food and beverages however the prices can be quite steep considering it's surroundings. However the trendy ambience makes it more aesthetically pleasing then any other store in the area.

Ordered a large long black with a dash of soy milk on the side and then I added another sugar myself after the coffee was done(barista didn't bother to ask). Awful tasteless taste. Couldn't feel the taste of the coffee or soy milk (I have perfectly functioning tastebuds and I'm not having a cold). And it cost me $5.5. Is this the best you can do Phat Coffee? Not coming back again and def not recommend wasting your money on this.

The one thing to know about this place is that they have the best home made muffins! I come in here once a week for my muffin fix. Their raspberry and white chocolate one is my favourite! The coffee always tastes good. The service is always very friendly and welcoming, the girls always do a great job!

Phat Coffee caught my eye. I had to visit it while on this side of the city. I had brekky here this morning, and then grabbed a freshly squeezed juice, after lunch.
Other than sandwiches and various cakes, they do not offer traditional egg based breakfast options. I got muesli with plain yogurt and a large strong Cappuccino. The muesli was eatable, some fruit would have been nice. My coffee was great!
Later in the day, I got Orange Combo with apple, kiwi and strawberries - it was beautifully fresh and not too sweet.
I gave Phat Coffee 4 instead of 3 just because of the great fresh juice selection!! Worth a visit 👍🏼
