We go to Bollywood (new larger / single storey restaurant) for work day lunches and love it. Great value. We always get the lunch special and glass of wine - never been disappointed. Service with a smile. Butter chicken is amazing.
We walked in around 8 in the evening and was a little worried about the lack of people on a Saturday night. We ordered cheese nanh bread and beef masala with some rice and the meal was delicious... We would gladly go there again!
A throughly pleasant lunch with fresh flavors and mild heat.
Butter chicken and korma...yum!
Sensational Indian food, a hidden gem. Tandoori chicken highly recommended. They even had a great boutique beer.
Best curry I've ever had I think! We had butter chicken and tikka masala , it was Devine. Lovely & clean , nice decor friendly staff and affordable! Would recommend to anyone who loves a good curry!!
Best Indian food I have had yet! Clean well presented restaurant, absolutely divine chicken tikka masala and garlic naan. Partner had the lamb shank and loved it! 2 meals, naan rice and drinks for under $50 - can't go wrong! Will definately be dining there again
Really good cheese and garlic naan upon request and fantastic butter chicken! Good service and pretty interior
Delicious food, friendly and helpful staff. Vegetarians and vegans well catered for and staff happily pointed out what was suitable to eat. Menu marked clearly for those with dairy/gluten/nut intolerances.
Gorge-worthy.. I ordered takeaway from these dudes. The cost of delivery for one person, means I (with my dumb thrifty ways) won't order too often. But for under $25 I had the most fabulous Chicken Tikka Massala, mouth-watering garlic naan, and rice.
The naan, the naan, THE. NAAN! I was gobsmacked. It was as big as a dinner plate. I ate almost the whole thing on my own, much to the disappointment of Mr Flanny.
8/10.
Best ever indian food. If you haven't tried food at Bollywood Indian Restaurant then you are really missing. It's a must try for all Indian food lover highly recommend
Great Food from Bollywood. We had a takeaway dinner which is x2 curries, rice and naan. The curries were yummy, the naan was delicious and the service was very friendly and fast.
Bollywood Indian Restaurant is one that stands out for its genuine flavors and ingredients amongst the other Indian restaurants.
Nestled in cozy leigh street of beautiful & busy Adelaide CBD Bollywood brings a prefect blend of rustic Indian cuisine & vibrance Bollywood ishtyle.
My personal favourite Saag Gosht...spinach being my favourite...well priced menu...& a variety to choose from.
Andy Bhatia the proprietor, a genuine Mumbai businessman, knows his food well & brings warmth.
A perfect venue for functions...CHEERS!!!
Kelly. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had my sister's hens night there and they did everything they could including ordering in wine.
The food was delicious and not over priced.
Highly recommend....
Wonderful and attentive service, even on a Tuesday night during Adelaide Cabaret Festival! They happily accommodated our party of 4: 2 international guests, 1 Vegan and 1 mobility impaired person... with ease, taste and style. The food was delicious. The service was attentive and particularly detail oriented, when it came to 'veganising' dishes, which was greatly appreciated and all members enjoyed the 'vegan' dishes. Highly recommended, authentic Indian cuisine. We will be back! Thank you Bollywood Indian Restaurant :)
The only issue was that the ladies' toilets were 'out of order' and we were advised to use the Gents'... I had no problem with this but the other lady in our party was not impressed. The only problem with an otherwise flawless dining experience :) :) :)
A very welcoming restaurant. Friendly and informative staff made us feel very homely and made sure we were satisfied. The food can be set from mild all the way to spicy. Delicious meals and a speedy service didn't make us wait for too long and we were brought on an amazing trip around India with the cuisine. Great price, food and service are all these things here. We plan to come back whenever we get the chance too.
I have been to Bollywood Indian Restaurant a few times now for a work day lunch and also occasionally for dinner. Once again, my experience was very good. The service was fast and attentive, the food was delicious and the lunch special for $14.50 is great value. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.
This is a hidden gem in delightful Leigh St. with an upmarket contemporary feel, good value tasty food and very welcoming friendly staff. Best Indian we have had in Adelaide; peshwari naan and onion bhaji were simply divine! Would thoroughly recommend Bollywood - we will definitely be back.
