My go to here is the dumpling laksa - great broth and big dumplings however, since we needed to takeaway and eat outside on this occasion I went for the Hor Fun noodles which was a great alternative. Couldn't resist a serve of dumplings and they agreed to sell them as an entree serve. This is a consistently good option on Flinders Street.
Delicious dry-ho-fun - I asked for extra chilli and they put a large dollop of spicy, salty chilli paste on the side. Best Dry-ho-fun ever, full of meat, flat noodle, onion etc - magnificent.
Good value and tasty laksa. Lots of noodles and meat, definitely a big filling lunch. I was expecting it to be a bit hotter, but it still has good kick to it, and probably easier for most people to eat with the amount of chilli used.
Inside is very small, so go early (or book ahead) if you want to get a table easily, as lots of people were queuing up to buy their lunch.
Dry Ho Fun - Yum Yum Yum. I work nearby so regularly meet a friend here for lunch. We both Love, Love, Love, the Dry Ho Fun but we order it with No Chilli. When organising our lunch date in advance our tummies begin to rumble with anticipation. When we get there we order and have a catch up chat but the minute our Dry Ho Fun, No Chilli, is placed in front of us we both Ho right into it. Then when our tummies are full but our plates are empty we chat some more. The only down side to this place is that it is quite small so sometimes we might have to wait a little while for a table but it is well worth the wait. Thursdays and Friday lunches are extremely busy so if you want to ensure you get a table try another day. Unfortunately I can't tell you about any other dishes as once I tried Dry Ho Fun I have never ordered anything else from here......see my tummy is rumbling while I am writing and thinking of it. Lucky for me I am going again next week - can't wait.
Best laksa in Adelaide!. "Hellooo Laksa House!"
you can count on the laksa to be hot, spicy and tasty. after trying many variations, the seafood laksa is definitely the way to go! dont bother with the tasteless dumpling laksa as you'll be disappointed. their rice dishes arent worth any fuss so stick to what they're good at - Laksa!
Me too. I also find that the only dish I don't love at Laksa House is the laksa. Always looks so promising, but it always under-delivers. Had the dumpling laksa and the dumplings were undercooked, grissly chicken, needs more flavour. But the Ho Fun is my favourite... and today I'm branching out to try the singapore noodles. staff aren't that friendly but I don't come here for the service so it's not a big deal.
Awesome Laksa!. This is my all time favourite Laksa that i have ever tried. Every time i eat one elsewhere i always compare it and it is just never the same as at the Laksa House. I always get a seafood Laksa with extra fried fish... MMmm amazing!
Ironically . . . .. . . . the only dish I don't like at this restaurant is the laksa. Everything else if great, like the hor fun, chicken curry, fried rice and especially the chicken rice.
It's you !!. Walking around town the other day and found this cafe, saying wow a laksa place I have never heard of. well returning for lunch the next time, walked it a saw the same waitress as the one in the food court in Chinatown - hey it's you !! immediately knew this was a sure winner for laksa because it was from the same sambal and soup stock. was not adventurous enough to try the fried dishes cause the real si-fu was not there. probably at main branch in chinatown.

Quite often, on a Friday morning, I'll look at my wallet and realise, there’s $10 left, and I'm going to need to buy some lunch. This particular Friday, a good buddy of mine was working over the southeast side of the city, and I was in need of a Laksa. 10 minutes later we were sitting at the front of Laksa House 2 waiting for 2 Laksa’s to be brought to our table.
