The halloumi pineapple burger is my al time favourite, never fails to disappoint and always fills me up! It’s all made with love and nourishing ingredients!
I love Veggie Velo's burgers they are the best! They are so big as well! I love getting the burger with the lot- also if you love haloumi get haloumi in your burger you get a huge slab of it 😉 Also the guy who cooks the burgers always has a smile on his face ( it is always a joy to be served food by someone who loves what they do!)
I love this food stand it's amazing! Apart from it always being busy and having to wait a little bit sometimes (which I think is just a sign that it's good food) the burgers are bloody awesome!!!!! They never disappoint, great value for money!

This has been a long time coming. I remember my first encounter with Veggie Vello, easily more than a year prior, while (almost ironically) waiting for my competitors beef truck based burger to be served to me. My wife, being vegetarian, wasnt terribly excited by this prospect however did spot this vendor hiding amongst the trees. She bought one, I had a bite, and ever since that had promised myself that I would get back for a proper review.
It is funny that I am writing this review when I tried veggie burgers at a different shop. I am away from town now and just tried the first, popular vegan burger shop in Canada. and, it was a disappointment. that bad experience just made me miss veggie velo.I liked how environmental they are by doing it by a bicycle. I don't know how clean the setting is, but I am sure it is alright as my weak stomach have not had any problems after eating at Velos. the service is friendly. it is a bit slow and you have to wait for a bit sometimes, but they just don't have much cooking space. What makes veggie velo the best is the food for sure. All Veggie Velo burgers I tried were moist and nicely flavored. I love how they use their ingredients: big mushrooms, pineapples, halloumi cheese, and soft patties for mains, and alfalfa, tomatoes, beet roots, onion jams, and more things
Amazing veggie burgers! There is so much flavour! I think every vegan & vegetarian in Adelaide needs to make a trip to a Veggie Velo location!I wish they had gluten free buns though!
Never liked veggie burgers before! But their haloumi and mushroom burger was the best burger I've ever had!! I was in shock at how good it was! I love this place
Worth the wait. It has taken a long time for me to be in the right place at the right time to try one of Veggie Velo's much raved about burgers. I finally had a chance at the Gilles Street Markets today, where they made an absolute killing. The lunch rush meant there was a delay between ordering and receiving hot food, but I'd much rather fresh than stale, and the staff were very friendly and as organised as could be. My Mushroom and Haloumi Burger was divine, packed with a good mix of salad on a wholemeal bun. Other options also sounded terrific, including the Lentil Burger, which sold out early.
YUM! I had the lentil burger with onion jam, vegan mayo and tomato relish from these guys at the Market Shed and I definitely was not disappointed! Despite a long wait, all was well once I bit into this healthy bit of goodness! I savoured every morsel and it was very reasonably priced at $10 for a big, good burger! Would definitely recommend Veggie Velo for a healthy and nourishing lunch!

Absolutely incredible and mind-blowingly delicious desserts. Consistently satisfying. The service is impeccable - such a sweet and friendly crew. They also have a loyalty card - every 10th burger is free. Their Facebook page is reliably maintained to tell you where they'll be next, but they do have some regular spots and times. This is a must-try for vegans, vegetarians and omnivores alike.

All options are awesome although the halloumi is a personal favourite. Great service and a massive (but reasonably priced) burger. Lovely and fresh with salad options for the gluten free.
Me eating Vegetarian..... I have always been dismissive of Vegetarian Foods until the day a mate convinced me to try a burger from these guys. Fantastic - absolutely fantastic. Changed my mind - and if you had ever heard me rant about vegetarian food you would realise the impact it had.
Seriously folks, these guys are mobile and pop in different places in the city. You can follow them on Facebook and Twitter for locations. Hunt them down and indulge in a Vegetarian Burger - your mouth will love you for it!!!!
Amazing lunch spot. Noticing a large line up, always a good sign, I opted for a Haloumi and mushroom burger and was not disappointed.
Staff were lovely, food was fresh and tasty, not to mention how big it was- so full!, service was slow, but to be expected when there were so many in front of me lining up for their tasty veggie lunch food. Will be back again!
AMAZING! Tasty and healthy and just awesome. I could go a burger right now! It can be a little slow if there's a line, but there's a line for a reason! Also love that they now have vgan cakes too - must chase up and try stat!
Their vegan burgers are mind-blowingly delicious (both the marinated tofu one and the quinoa one) and their vegan apple crumble is to die for. They are also extremely nice people. I also love that they use a bike! Hands down the best mobile food 'truck' in Adelaide.

Yum!. Had a half and half for the first time yesterday. Preferred the haloumi and mushroom one as it had more flavour than the quinoa. All fresh ingredients and very generous with serving. Lovely friendly people - was so glad I was finally in the right place at the right time!
The Vegie Burger, perfected !. Such a tasty burger. Smooth avocado, salty and chewy haloumi, sweet onion relish, refreshing greens, tasty roast mushroom. All perfect.
I guess this is what happens when you focus on perfecting one thing rather than trying to serve a million different masters. Brilliant!
Had Veggie Velo at lunch time today, pretty impressed by the range of the menu - there was a vegan cake, a tofu burger on special, amaranth and quinoa burger and a mushroom and Haloumi burger which I had. Pretty good price at only $10, or you could get a big burger with the lot for $14. It was really nice, lots of vegetables and very filling! I couldn't finish it I was so full. The staff are very friendly and I like that the menu changes a bit. It would be good if it also sold juices even though it might be difficult due to the fact it has to be moved everywhere by a bike! I would recommend it.

In search of the healthy food options in Adelaide, I came across Veggie Velo - a bicycle that makes the best veggie burger in town. When I found them online in August, they were on holidays, it wasn’t until last Sunday they opened again at the Market Shed on Holland Street. I was so excited when I saw the announcement on Facebook (Since they don’t have a fix location, you will have to check Facebook everyday to see where they are on that day), we got up early that day just to try out the veggie burgers. Veggie Velo at work on Sunday at Market Shed on Holland St The menu changes everyday day depending on the availability. There’s always 2 burger options and a salad for ordering. All the ingredients were organic and sourced from local suppliers. Everything was home-made where possible. Even though there were only 2 options available, I would still have a hard time choosing which ones to have. Luckily York was there with me, we will order one each and I will eat off his- problem solved. E

Combination burger. This is a combination of all their options - Quinoa patty with lettuce, carrot, beetroot, alfalfa, onion jam, sweet potato and cashew spread (vegan friendly) combined with a haloumi burger with grilled mushrooms, lemon thyme. Overall, I was a little disappointed with this combination. The quinoa patty was a little dry and tasteless however the wholemeal bun was fresh and the haloumi and mushroom were delicious. Salads were fresh and added a crisp textural element to the burger.
Floating around...But they will be at pirie street every Thursday noon! fine i just got a sense of where they are during the week. So most of the time at plant 4, sundays at the market shed in the city. My favourite burgers so far. and healthy! That's a big thing! i do love twobit villains so yum but so what. High cabs, calories and fat as most of their patties are deeply pan fried. could only do half a year of seasonally otherwise my body can't afford
