After eating here, I feel like I’ve never had good food before. I started with a garlic schiacciata, which was so delicious.
The chicken parmigiana is also AMAZING! I don’t know how they made it so good, but I am so happy. The chicken is so juicy with a nice crispy crumb. 🤤
Highly recommend this place, I’ll absolutely be back!

Our dinner experience was splendid.
AMBIENCE
It was very quiet as we were the only diners there on a Friday night (5pm), benefits of this was having the waitress to ourselves who was very attentive. No loud music at this time & made our time enjoyable
FOOD
Our gnocchi & salmon dishes were 10/10. Salmon was well done & seasoned perfectly. They also sell gelato.

Piccoli Piatti is an exceptional establishment with excellent staff and a well sourced menu. Arriving here, we had booked a table for a birthday, and the lovely team had organised a candle and a note as specified in our reservation notes. Love this extra care! Our server, Trent, was very charismatic and helpful throughout out whole dining experience. He also managed our corkage. The menu is themed around authentic Italian sourced from SA suppliers, and does not disappoint. The artisanal bread was fresh, with a complementing balsamic & oil side. The oysters were also quite fresh, great size and the tangy sauce matches to combine flavours. The beef ragu gnocci had a beautiful flavour, texture and matched the paired table cheese excellently. All the food was exceptional quality, and reasonable prices points too! Will be coming back here for date night, or a casual lunch out. Also big thanks to Tia for her quality engagement while we handled the bill.

Fantastic service and welcoming atmosphere. Food is good and portion available in different serving sizes, which is great. Not too busy, hence a good fit for a family or couples outing.

Lovely little Italian Resturant in North Adelaide. Had lunch on three different occasions whilst visiting Adelaide and the food and dessert is superb. Staff friendly with prompt service.

The bruschetta was sensational- we were fighting one another for the toppings that had fallen onto the plate. Bright and vibrant atmosphere with friendly service. A double decker parmigiana gets a five star from me!

We went on a late Sunday arvo on a whim. The classic, modern interior and menu looked appealing. However, it was ultimately a disappointing dining experience, my main gripe being that the food took almost an hour to be served.<br/><br/>This could be explained by them preparing a function that was scheduled to happen upstairs. I assumed it had not begun as it was relatively quiet. The other patrons dining on the floor included another couple and a party of 10 which were finishing up. <br/><br/>At the 30 min mark, we were served cold bread with olive oil & vinegar seemingly as a passive afterthought with no mention of the food preparation. During this time I entertained myself watching the 4 or 5 waiters scurry upstairs every so often to attend to the function ("It's a christening for a baby girl," I informed my partner). I could also sense growing impatience from the other couple dining in.<br/><br/>When our food finally arrived, the waiters politely asked if everything was alright, but did not apologise for the wait. Not wanting to complain as I understood they seemed really preoccupied with the upstairs function, I remarked that my partner's meal which was "medium/main size" (they have 3 sizes for their meals-S/M/L) looked entrée-sized compared to mine which was "small/entrée". The waiter, with an air of a student reciting a textbook answer, said something about the sizes being standard and re-explained what the sizes meant. I decided to leave it be and just eat my food.<br/><br/>My partner had the crab spaghetti, which came with a few crab legs that needed to be cracked open with the provided cracker. I see nothing wrong with self-service, except when you've just waited nearly an hour for the food to be prepared. My mushroom risotto was a good consistency but a tad salty and while good, it did not make up for the long wait. The polenta chips were what we enjoyed most, crisp crust and smooth polenta inside.<br/><br/>I would say this place would be great for small events and functions as the interior looks very clean & classy, but would not recommend going nor will be returning as a regular diner.
