It was off!. Dropped in for a quick lunch between meetings, picking up a egg roll and sashimi box. When I arrived back at the office I discovered the sashimi was off! It's smelled foul, making me and the other staff gag. I quickly returned to return the items only to find that the staff were rude and questioned why I would also want to return the egg roll! My appetite was certainly off. I won't be returning.

Inconsistent. I visit here at least once a week for the last year or two.<br/><br/>In the beginning I loved it but the past 5-6 months the inconsistency with the food has put me off. I get the spicy beef udon soup every time & each & every time it is different.<br/>Sometimes they forget the chilli, sometimes the brocoli today it was the egg and once they forgot about my order all together!<br/><br/>The broth always tastes the same but the strength in flavor is different each time. <br/><br/>I wont be returning here again.

Kambei is a small little Japanese takeaway store offers all your usual sushi offerings and a whole lot more. I was actually amazed at the number of dishes available.
