We've had a family dinner here a few weeks ago, and everything was just so delish! I grew up eating this type of food, and I missed eating it until my sis discovered this place. Uhmazhing! Very authentic, and tastes just like my mumma & daddy made....my favourites were the shashlik, the vermicelli salad, pilaf (rice, carrots n lamb) the manti with pumpkin & lamb....& many other foods.....love..love..love.....and will be making this my go to place for when I crave the comfort foods I grew up with.

This place is a well kept secret. Some of the best food I've eaten. Delicious. I don't think one thing one the menu would disappoint.
If you like spicy warm flavours, get there.
Amazing food!! Everything I've tried has been an absolute delight. Looking forward to working my way through the menu.

The sweet version of the yoghurt drink (Ayran) is just so good. It's like a more delicious and fresh version of buttermilk.
Been here twice and looking forward to going back.

Silk Road worth travelling. Discovered this untapped gem of a cuisine in the central market...........then it disappeared!! Tried numerous places all over Adelaide to compensate for our loss. Until now......2 years later we discovered the owners have reopened around the corner from home, what a stroke of luck. To enjoy a great hearty soup, the Chu'chura (tiny dumpling soup) is a must have. To be enjoyed at the same time, the lamb kebabs. Lots of other dishes to try keeps us going back for a slice of Xinjiang Provence.

Good place for those who appreciate orient cuisine. We've ordered kebab, lagman (not sure about spelling 🙂) and Turkish tea in a pot - everything was delicious! And the waiting time wasn't too long.

Authentic xinjiang style cuisine served with non of the polish and shine you'd find in typical restaurants. But there lied it's appeal. The food is humble, much like what you'd find if you were having a meal at your grandparents. For me, the highlights were the grilled lamb skewers, baked buns and the hand made noodles. The lamb was grilled just right where the meat was wrapped in a thin layer of caramelisation but without charring. Each mouth full was a good balance of lean and fat cuts such that it was juice and tender without being overwhelmingly fatty or dry. The marinate too was sublime, with just the right touch of cumin, salt and chilli powder. Even the kids loved it. The baked buns came out looking like pastries with their golden coat of shiny egg wash. The texture was like naan but more 'eggy'. Inside you'll find minced lamb and melted cheese. And oh so yummy.! The noodle, I thoroughly enjoyed. Again, the sauce is simple but the hero is the noodle. They are handmade, each one consistent in thickness, cooked perfectly to their rustic equivalence of al'dente. I can't help but wonder what this will be like if I replaced it with all of my favourite pasta sauce. Prices are very reasonable. Proprietor prefers cash payments but will take cards.

One of my favourite uyghur restaurants in Adelaide. Been there twice and really love it. Ordered Nahn bread stir fry lamb is the best we’ve tried. Lamb skewers are juicy and chewy. Service lady is very nice and polite. This is only 3 mins drive from where I live. Definitely will go again
