Dinner at @nhu_lan_on_hanson from a few weeks ago: we wanted to have some classic Vietnamese food, and this place is definitely a good choice 😊😊. No frills, but good food is all you need 😋😋. . Combination broken rice: the roast pork crackling was not as crunchy as it could have been, but overall very tasty! . Combination rice vermicelli: absolutely loved the sugarcane prawns! The spring rolls were super yummy too 😋. . Pork and prawn rice paper rolls: nicely done. No complaints! . Banh xeo: we love Vietnamese pancakes! This one was slightly on the greasy side, but it's totally delicious!

The only place in Adelaide where I've found bò né and it did not disappoint! Everything about the dish tasted so good, crunchy fresh bread and fast service. Will definitely come back again!

Good service, very clean and well presented. They have a good variety of dishes. We ordered spicy beef noodles and vietnamese sizzling steak. I've ordered the same noodle dish at other places before but this one was just overly spicy. It's almost inedible due to the chilli over powering the whole dish. The soup base could use more depth and flavour too. The steak was enjoyable, they cook it viet style so it's more on the well done side rather than medium rare. Would definitely come back to try other dishes on their menu.

Nhu Lan is Adelaide’s Most Authentic Vietnamese Restaurant. Best of the best, highly recommended. You know it’s the real deal when during lunch and dinner hours the place is packed full of hungry Vietnamese-Australians dining in and people are willing to wait in line outside the place. The food is delicious and is very affordable, hence why the place is so busy. For people dining in I’d recommend trying the Pho and for vegetarians try the make-your-own-vegetarian cold rolls. Even if you don’t feel like dining in, Banh Mi Nhu Lan make the best Vietnamese bread rolls in Adelaide - the rolls have an amazing ratio of meats to vegetables and the quality of the meats is superb. The combination roll is a must try for any newbies. If you’re after a dining experience where you want the staff to pamper all your needs and to worship you as if you’re like some sort of deity, then this place is NOT for you. This place is for those who want a great feed in a straightforward environment - the staff are professional and friendly as they need to be, which is good enough in my books.

Great place for quality Vietnamese food. Broken rice and Bo Ne are two of my favourite dishes here. Pho and their other soups are also highly recommended. Best Banh Mi in rads by a long shot.

This newly revamped Banh Mi Nhu Lan is our new favourite Vietnamese hangout. We've tried their Vietnamese Pancake, Steak and Eggs, Combo Pho and Pnomh Penh noodles and they were all deeellliiiiccciiioouusssssssssss. Service was also very quick and efficient even during their peak times! Their menu has many other dishes you don't come across in other Vietnamese eateries nearby, so we'll definitely be coming back here a few more times to try them, and will probably not stop as long as they keep on cooking the way they cook.
