Review Billie Chu - Adelaide

Peter M
Overpriced, uninspired and incomplete (even for airport food). If you are looking for quality you might have better luck on your flight.

I used to eat here all the time, most recent experience left much to be desired. The food was old and had no flavor, half of the green curry ended up in the bin.

Really surprised at how good this was, for airport food. Expensive, but again - it's the airport. Pad Thai & drink for $20 is ok. Ceramic bowls are a nice touch. Staff were friendly and efficient and the place was clean. For "fast food" this is better than the other offerings.

Not good. Have eaten there a few times now, everytime thinking I will give them another chance. However each time their noodles are greasy with no flavour, overpriced, no vegetables in it, and either burnt or undercooked. The people who are at the register are very pushy and not very friendly. Id rather eat at another place in the airport from now on. No more chances.

Avoid. $12.90 for a bowl of iceberg lettuce. No thanks.

Pad Thai is ok. Basil chicken is far from authentic - too sweet and couldn't taste the basil at all. Also overpriced - but I guess rental at the airport is not exactly cheap. Go only if desperate for Asian meal.

What a Ripoff!. $17.90 for the smallest bowl of noodles you can imagine. Seasonal veggies = capsicum and onion! Total rip off - don't bother!

This is the worst restaurant I have been to ever! They burnt our rice dish twice, the register girl has the worst attitude. Burnt our dimsims and got half our order wrong. Dirty sticky tables and very expensive! Never again!

Regular visitor of the Chu. Probably the best place for food in the airport.

Burnt my rice dish

Burned Pad Thai. Usually go here for late afternoon lunch on the way out.....Usually they provide an expensive, very average stir fry...today with new cook, they provided a burnt pad thai......i am sitting and waiting to board the plane with a charcoal flavour in my mouth......second attempt at pad thai, had a half bottle of sweet chilli sauce.....left it at the cash register and walked out.....<br/>Need to make sure you have someone cooking that can follow the recipe....i would have been happy for the average overpriced stir fry.....only in my dream.....

I have been here a few times out of desperation but this is the last. they always get the order wrong and you get a lot of attidue from the register girl. I would rather eat the crap in qantas club

Tasty and convenient.. If you've just flown home from somewhere and you can't be bothered cooking a meal when you get there, pop into Billie Chu's for some takeaway noodles. About as good as Noodle Box, and not outrageously expensive. Very convenient for travellers.
