Had our first lunch here today. We ordered Hainan Chicken Rice, Braised Pork Belly and Singapore Laksa. My wife said it tasted authentic, like what she had before in Singapore. Our experience was great and a value for the money. We'll definitely return when craving kicks in.
The quality is quite hit or miss at this location. Some dishes overdo the sweetness too.
My favourite dish at this location is the laksa. The soup is tasty and the noodles are consistently good. Your experience will vary depending on the day. The sour plum drink is also quite good.
This was our third visit to Hawker Walker, but first after pandemic, definitely the quality has dropped, and service quality has also dropped. Overall, suggest only the kueh tiaw. It was definitely better couple of years ago. Otherwise go to Nan Yang or Warong, all nearby.

Meal: I ordered the Wat Tan Hor - rice noodles were burnt out, lots of black pieces, sticky tangled together; the seafood is just two pieces of shrimp, fishcakes and crab sticks(actually they're made of flour); the starchy sauce is supposed to be served together with the noodle but it was very thin,
I love this place! 😍 Do yourself a favor and try out the chicken rice! It taste 100% Authentic. One of the best chicken rice I've tasted so far and the serving is quite big. Will order again. Yummm!!! 😍😍😍😍
Service can be a hit and miss. 2 out of 4 times I have visited turned out to be an inconvenient experience. One time the server mixed up our order and served it to wrong table. Most recently when I ordered, I had to wait almost 40 minutes to be served a lacklustre lunch due to their machine being in
Love it. First time there and had the Hainanese chicken rice. Nice presentation of the dish and tasted delicious!
Great lunch spot close to Rundle Mall.
The Hokkien Mee and Char Kway Two are delicious 🤤
Also tried the roast meat with tossed noodles which was really nice too.
