Review The Yiros Hutt - Adelaide

Gem place in Adelaide, serving Tianjin Breakfast from 9am-1pm (Wed to Sun). Food Very delicious and freshly made. Dinner - Yiros, super good food too. Owner is very friendly.

This was a rollercoaster ride of a trip, I experienced lows and highs and ultimately came out surprised. I spotted this place while out for an evening ride and decided to return later to try their food. 1. Felafel yiros for my partner was decent. The deep fried felafel was tasty. The minimal lettuce onion and tomato with garlic sauce and no tabbouleh was a bit on the sad side. 2. Lamb yiros similarly had almost no greens to accompany the meat, which was honestly okay, and I found the garlic sauce acceptable. 3. Best part of the meal were the chips. They were cooked amazingly well, but they were a tad oily and basically not seasoned, and the oil made them a funky yellow colour. Service was interesting, with an interesting Chinese/English language barrier while ordering my Greek cuisine. Interior was a bizarre experience, with a mix of cultures in the laminated and sticky-taped artwork on the walls. According to the large photo menu on the wall, they serve Chinese cuisine for breakfast, which is an odd combination of cuisines. The food prep area was clean, but looked a bit empty and sad. The napkins were hand towels from a bathroom paper towel dispenser. I will post pictures to accompany the review. It would be a solid 3.5 stars if I could give half a star.

Glad to know they also have authentic Northern Chinese breakfast and it was really yum with reasonable price! The fried dough stick was so crispy as the dough was freshly handmade. Also recommend the savoury pancake and fried sticky cake for sweet.

Its a shame theres no lower rating than 1 star worst food i had all year disgustingly presented,haphazardly prepared and for $20 +$3.for a can of drink to wash the awful vinegary watered down sauce away,monsterously overpriced,plus you get a complimentary racist insult to top off the worst dining experience of my entire life,my fathers words came back to me after the second bite,shoulda taken it back & thrown it at him.

Lamb yiros came with shredded carrot instead of tomato. On what planet do we put carrot on our yiros? Must be new owners, I had one here a year ago and it was great. Now, great if your bugs bunny.

Great breakfast selection, low price and delicious. I hope they also sell it on delivery app, now they only have yiros for delivery

Ordered from Menulog. The Yiros Hutt are great. Nice chips and a great yiros. Great prices too. Plan to order from them again. Try something else on the menu. I use Menulog once a week just to take a break from cooking

Good food with reasonable price and warm service. Seems they have made some adjustment and improvement on the food and services based on the negative reviews as the food that I received today are obviously better than my last order (2 months ago).

Ordered a chicken ab with cooked onion didn't understand what I was asking for until I repeated it god knows how many times finally understood what I was saying then put raw onion on it my partner order a lamb an with garlic sauce and mayo ended up getting garlic sauce and tomato sauce not to be rude but if your going to work in a shop in Australia you should at least know basic english

Well since Yanni and the family are no longer working there this place gone completely downhill. I have tried the prawn yiros and half the prawns were raw  the other half burnt and all stuffed in the centre. I have tried the falafel and it is completely tasteless and bland with only onion and lettuce as the filler. They don't even try and toast the bread anymore. Yiros on Hutt was a once to twice a week work lunch treat, now it's avoid at all cost.

One of the best yiros' I've had by far! Delicious crispy yiros bread and the tasty hot lamb is what truly brought out this place's true colours. Moreover, the lady who served us was also really nice and attentive towards her customers. If you're ever on the run for a tasty quick bite then don't ever miss this place!

Had a genuine Greek family owned feel to it. Friendly and personalised service. Best yiros I've had in a long while. All food was nice and fresh. Takeaway or some seating inside and outside to eat in. Great choice for a quick tasty meal. Staff and owner very friendly and made our young children feel very welcome.

Excellent personalised very friendly warm customer service. Can feel the family vibes as you walk in and sit down. I personally felt very welcomed and loved how passionate they were about their food. The service makes you come back regardless of the quality of food. A good late night option for late night take away when everything else is closed.

Travelled a fair distance to get takeaway from The Yiros Hutt. Literally the best hot chips I have ever had. Crunchy and seasoned so well, I could have just had them and been satisfied. The pita on the yiros was exceptional, I've never had a pita like it before and just can't put my finger on what it was. The yiros was bit light on the meat but packed with heaps of lettuce and tomato. Would have loved an extra dollop of tzatziki. Will be back to try again (and get more chips!).
