Sunday lunch in Hahndorf Il Mulino Pizzeria & Rossicceria 13/15 Mount Barker Rd, Hahndorf, SA. Location: Situated perfectly at the Southern end of the Main Street in Hahndorf. Makes for easier parking & a little less hustle & bustle. Service: Good, honest & speedy. Decor: Largish tables & comfy chairs within a smallish dining area inside but they also have a large area for outside dining as well. Atmosphere: Busy with an almost full restaurant & happy talkative patrons. Great to see the chefs working away also. Bathrooms: Go before you come or you will need the toilet key (on a wooden spoon). So don’t loose it…!! Value for money: Average pizza price BUT not your average pizza…!!! Drinks: Pretty good drinks menu with some traditional Italian drinks like Aranciata & Chinotto & a mix of South Australian & Italian wines. Food: We had a pala (a metre long) pizza split into 2 types, being Tonno E Cipolla - Tuna, red onion, mozzarella, and the Crudo & Buffalo - shaved prosciutto di Parma, cherry tomato & Buffalo Mozzarella. It surprised both of us at how bloody amazing this was. It was the best pizza we have ever had. Fresh ingredients with all pizza & pasta made in house.. we also took some traditional & ricotta cannoli home for later..!!!. And they were yummy too. Synopsis: A great surprise in Hahndorf. Well worth the drive from anywhere. Recommend you book as they get very busy.

Some of the most authentic Italian food in Adelaide! We used to live near their old store and had to come check out their new place in Hahndorf. Their wood oven pizza is to die for and their chefs are incredible! Highest quality ingredients. You won’t regret checking them out :)

Food was exceptional. We enjoyed a variety of pizza’s and they were delicious. The staff are wonderful, working hard, and doing a great job considering the business has only been open a week! Danny and his team are great hosts and we look forward to coming back often.

This is the best pizza I have ever had in my life... amazing taste, friendly staff, good prices. I hope you stay in hahndorf for a loooong time, cause we just found our new regular Friday night pizza place to order from!!!!

Oh my, every mouthful was a bliss last night. Pizzas, pastas, arancini and all the other stuff cooked to perfection. We took the leftovers home for lunch today. I can’t wait!😋 The only recommendations for the business - more lights outside, so you are easier to find at night time.

Food was delicious! The pizzas are so yum and there are probably more than 20 flavour options available. We had a half metre pizza and also a panzarotti which was also yum if you like fried food. Both reasonable in terms of cost! <br/>Service was good!<br/>In terms of ambiance, we came on a Saturday night and opted to sit outside as it was very overly loud in the small, crowded, inside.   <br/>Would definitely return!

Recently ate at Il Mulino for dinner. Decide to get a meter pizza to share and some suppli for dinner. The pizza was very well priced and was so tasty, it was a genuine authentic Italian flavour. Toppings were traditional and simple. Suppli were flavorsome and nice and crisp. Service was great too and it was a nice relaxed, casual atmosphere. Book ahead to guarantee a seat.

An early Father's Day dinner provided an opportunity to visit Il Mulino. We tried to work our way through the menu but the serves are generous and it soon became clear that we were going to have to restrict ourselves. I think we ended up picking well with a couple of different types of suppli, the breasola, the smoked cheese (definitely try this), a pasta and a serve of their porchetta. Il Mulino is not fancy, they are just proud of their food and want people to enjoy it. The wine list was fine and the staff were great. We will be back yo try their pizzas which come in 1/2 metre or 1 metre - they were a popular choice.
