Review Diggers Pies - Albany Creek

Review of the cheese and bacon pie. Pretty generic pastry, it is quite cruncy on the lid, the filling looks generic but has been seasoned beautifully. Not alot of visible cheese and bacon.

Love the yummy pies and found the staff to be lovely. Especially the female who served me. She had a beautiful smile Outstanding service.

The steak and cheese from diggers pies was the worst pie I have ever eaten.

Can't say they are the best pies in Brisbane as I haven't been to every bakery - BUT, I have not had a better meat pie. Went back yesterday after a 2 year absence with some concern after reading the couple of very negative reviews. The flaky pastry holds together in your hand. The gravy is thick, rich and flavoursome. And the meat is chunky. It was just delightful. Tried both the Pepper Steak and Steak and Burgundy. And there was service with a smile.

Decent pie selection with some more unusual flavour options as well (Green Curry Chicken and Massaman Beef). Good pastry and good quality meat but could do with a bit more flavour.

steak cheese pie had no cheese, well it may have been the burnt bit inside the driest pie I've ever had in my life. the digger dog had all the flavour of the paper bag it came in. I'd avoid it and get a servo pie before I got another one from there. worst equal pie I've ever had

BEST pies in Brisbane, Possibly Australia. Been going here for 10+ years. Delicious!!!!!! Flaky crust, chunky steak, great flavour and service! We have to travel to get here so we always get 2-3 pies each as they still taste awesome the next day! DON'T let the haters fool you.

I read the blurb before going into the shop. I was expecting a pie at least as good as the usual boutique ones like beefies. I drove home and chomped into my pie. What a let down. Over cooked and gummy inside and the pastry was hard as a rock. Won't be going back there

Very good pies. Never had one that we didn't like. I like that they have mushy peas separate to their pies and pile them on. Pies come in two sizes if you are very hungry. Pasties are damn good too. Better pies than others from nearby bakeries.
