Review The Coffee Club - Albany Creek

Second visit to this store. I gave them a second chance today in case the first visits service was a bad day. I will never return to this Coffee club. Terrible service, no hello from the girl on service, not even a smile. The same attitude was delivered to the others that entered after I did. The same attitude from the same girl as the first visit from what I recall. The food was the worst I’ve had put on a plate, I didn’t eat it. It was a cheesecake that by the look of it had been in the cold case for a long time. The coffee was terrible and very bitter. There were about 6 tables that had not been cleared from previous customers and remained uncleared whilst I was there, for almost an hour. It remains a mystery why business owners continue to employ teams that have no concern for your ongoing business. With what I witnessed today, which was the same as the first visit last year, you’ll be out of business pretty quickly.

Thank you ladies for a lovely breakfast. I haven't been for a while but I have to tell you the moment I walked in the door I felt such a lovely atmosphere.The moment I sat down I said to my husband "This is lovely" The music was soft and conducive to a good conversation as it was mellow and not too loud. The breakfast was very nice. I am now gluten intolerant and it was lovely to be able to get the smashed avo in the gluten free option. I will certainly be back. :)

Very well set-up Coffee clubs with nice and comfortable indoor and outdoor areas. The quality standards of their coffees and meals are as expected around all the franchise. I have had business meetings here and the place has always been very quite which is perfect if you want to talk about work. 4 stars because you can get better espressos in other cafes.

Won’t be returning. The food was good, but the service was appalling. Even though there weren’t many diners we had to motion to the wait staff that we were ready to order. On a hot day it would have been nice to be offered water during our meal. Two staff members were busy eating and drinking behind the counter themselves... not a good look!

Arrived at 8pm and instead of a warm welcome was told "just wanted to let you know we close at 8:30pm". Proceeded to order thinking we would get our food quickly only for it to arrive 25 minutes later and all together. I pointed out that the garlic bread was supposed to be a starter and was told they were in a rush as they were actually closed now. Waitress literally dumped our meals on the table and we had to ask for cutlery. Food was OK but waitress then vacuumed and mopped around us! Won't be returning.

Been to Coffee Clubs before, but won't go to this one again. Ordered Club Nachos- a soggy cold mess that tasted terrible. My daughter had the Crispy Chicken Burger which she enjoyed good- so a plus there. Took a long time to even take order. We had the privilege of hearing staff talk about other staff, not appropriate when customers can hear. The tables were dirty, furniture needs replacing. Not my best Coffee Club experience.

Friday Afternoon March 29th 2019: What great waitresses. The two were left by themselves to do everything after the chef left and there was no management to be seen. We were told some things would not be available on the menu as they didn't know how to cook them, but that was fine they were doing the best they could on their own, still with a friendly and helpfull demeanor. Good work ladies.

Honestly, this restaurant has gone down hill very quickly. The staff weren't friendly and came across very rude/bitchy. A few of my friends and I went for breakfast this morning and sat a waited to be served for a soild 15-20 minutes before I stopped a waitress and asked if it was possible to order to which she replied, "yeah, in a minute" we then waited until another waitress came to take our order and was very abrupt and came across very unfriendly. The wait for our food and drinks however was quiet fast considering they were very busy, and I feel that perhaps the service was bad simply because they were so busy and there was only two waitresses. I heard from my friends mother that the service had gone down hill and I feel that she was right. The food however was nice it's just that every one who worked there was radiating negative vibes which made it unpleasant.
