Had the family feast. Changed up two pieces of fish and they were good. Solid and had a nice texture. The original fish was just okay. The nuggets were a nice touch but not so much the fried dim sum and crabs ticks. Very generous servings of chips and nice service. Food was served quite promptly after we ordered.

Delicious battered mulloway with their complimentary in-house sauces. Ordered the grilled whiting too but preferred the battered mulloway. The service here was second to none. We ordered and was waiting for our meal for 30+ minutes. Turned out they had put our order as takeaway instead of dine-in so the fish were actually in boxes instead of being served to us. They refunded and replaced our order with fresh ones. Also gave us a complimentary Mexican corn for being chill about it. I was perfectly ok with a replacement and did not expect a refund too. And then a complimentary corn on the house. Delicious food and just 💯 service here! Do make a booking before you visit! I made mine around 3 weeks in advance coz I was really looking forward to trying the Best Fish & Chips in WA. Thanks for such a lovely experience @oceanandpaddock

Dined in for lunch on 23rd Feb and I have to say, after a week in Albany, this is THE place to go to along WA’s south coast. Friendly and timely service, amazing fresh food and a beautiful seasonal menu. Definitely the best fish and chip shop down this way :)

Delicious food! The eggplant wedges are worth trying! The cauliflower salad was excellent. Although it is a fish and chips restaurant, the vegetarian options are great!

Been here for the second time and definitely will come back for more. Best fish and chips place in town, generous serving and fresh quality too. Had the fisherman’s basket tonight, the fish was fresh and nicely battered, nice chunky fresh prawns, really cant complain on anything. The service was really good, really friendly and attentive. Love the enthusiasm of how they care about the service and business.

OH MY LORD! Never knew fish could taste this good. Wow, has to be the best fish and chips I have experienced. Blown away.

I've never seen my boys chow down on fish n chips before until today the semi vegetarian mj smashed back even the fish, the service is served with a smile and the boys were rewarded very well for their hard work and we have finally found a top notch place we can go and enjoy ...from now on thank you guys so much for being so wonderful to my lads this is something we all needed..... Smiles, great food and awesome service and happy belly's.... highly recommend this place to all ....cheers

I ordered a beef burger, I must say that this is the best burger I have eaten in a long time, highly recommended great service and even better a tasty burger & chips that you will be going back to order again �

Really great service from excellent staff and owners... this is NOT your average fish 'n' chip shop... great choice for vegetarian and do the best ever gluten free batter... :)

We had a great dinner at this little restaurant. The service was fantastic, and I was impressed by the passion and energy behind the dynamic owner duo! Nothing beats service and awesome food and good value for money. Loved my Thai squid salad, fish and chips and chilli poppers...and will have to go back to try other items as I ran out of stomach space. Highly recommend this place! Wish there were more operators in Albany like you guys xx

Absolute hands down the best takeaway food I’ve had in a while, the buttermilk chicken burger was a 10/10

The best fish I ate in years. Very friendly staff and so helpful. Excellent service and loved the atmosphere. Will highly recommend it.

Had quite high expectation with this place. However, not met at all. Ordered nannygai as recommended by the staff there as an addition to the fisherman's basket. The prawns were not too bad, squid were interestingly good though could be a little saltier, the snapper was a huge let down as they felt dry, no taste, as if it was cooked twice, a lot of fish and chips shops cook frozen fish but they are just not good at this at all. The nannygai that they recommended was quite smelly partially. The best thing about the food was the chips. The staffs were friendly and hepful, unfortunately for how much we paid, it was not worth it for us.

Love this place. Staff were very friendly. Chef came out and serve us a complimentary cauliflower dish which was delicious. We opted for grilled fishes and all were delicious.

Fantastic fish and chips (ordered the seafood platter and it was massive). The lobster salad was fantastic value, consider one whole lobster tail is battered in crunchy buttermilk (no small bits here). Cauliflower buffalo wings were excellent and make a great vegetarian meal. 3 of us left the restaurant stuffed. Really fantastic and caring service - will definitely be back!

For any visitors traveling through the beautiful South west coast of WA, do not miss out on Ocean & Paddock while you're in Albany. The food is amazing, as good as anything you'll ever get in the city, if not better. Fish is fresh, the whiting was perfect. And the service is absolutely fantastic, also happy to work with our fussy needs as required.

Just great produce and so well cooked. Fisherman’s basket, fish, prawns and calamari. Nannygai and chips, gravy and mushy peas. All totally delicious. Such crispy batter. No one in Perth can cook fish like you do .

Yummo - fed the grandparents through to the kids. All very happy and reasonably priced for the quality. Great service with a smile and the kids loved chalking on the walls
