The food at your restaurant is absolutely breath taking the aromas from 500 metres away draw you to the destination the service is immaculate the setting the vibe etc
I bought a glass of wine while I was waiting for my takeaway and then the lovely man gave me 3 poppydums with this amazing mint yoghurt spiced sauce while I was waiting and he even got me a little table down the side in takeaway area he was so sweet and made such a fuss of me after a hard days work rocking up in my uniform and Rossi boots
Only thing I would take off the drinks menu would be the rumours and maybe replace with I would suggest a NZ sb called Omni or and even De Bortolio Sacred Hill SSB also the NZ Pinot Grigio is another nice choice 3 reasonable priced white wines and very good sellers at Dan Murphys where I work , Rumours and Gossips are a little cheap to have at a restaurant of your standard if you know what I’m saying but totally up to you guys of course
The fifth leg is s good one as that is what I had and also it’s a Margaret River wine and also a very popular best seller but not meaning to be negative this restaurant would be one of the nicest in town 10/10 especially the service and the food
Also was admiring your little garden and lights at the front looked gorgeous and gave me some inspiration to add to mine
First time for me, hubby has been a few times while down in AlbNy for business. I have to say it is the best Indian meal that I've had since arriving in Australia 17 years ago. Highly recommend this restaurant. Food was tasty, fresh and hot
Amazing food and best owner
“ Harjit Mann “

Very good Food, authentic in taste, lovely presentation and very good prices.
Good selection of drinks too. I’d be happy to recommend, and be back here for sure when next in Albany.
By far the best Indian restaurant in Albany! The food is authentic and delicious with generous portions and fabulous service. Absolutely love this place!!
The best Indian we have had for ages, recommended by others on Facebook we gave it a go & it was great! Good size serves & beautiful spices! Highly recommended to anyone else!
My partner and I travel alot around the globe, and have had many many Indians!! Tandoori Restaurant in Albany is THE BEST BY FAR!! Always fantastic food and excellent customer service! We recommend to all our friends and you never disappoint! Again tonight another proven wonderful takeaway :D Thank you guys!!
Best Indian food. Staff are lovely ....I strongly recommend
Delicious fragrant food and impeccable service. Always a pleasure to eat here and definitely recommend you try it.
The staff and service is excellent.... The food is fabulous I've never been disappointed in the food...
Awesome food, fast service & friendly staff - and we got take away!😃
I have never written a review before, but this place certainly deserves one. I ordered a take away chicken biriyani and received a container packed to overflowing with quality biriyani and a generous portion of raita. Enjoyed the meal and I have saved enough for tomorrow's breakfast and lunch as well. I hope you're opening a restaurant in Perth soon. Well done team!
This place does great food and it tastes awesome, although the service was great, our drinks were late and so they said we could have them for free, i had the chilli chicken masala and i enjoyed it, very authentic indian tastes. I was very impressed with the staffs overall demeanor, very family friendly atmosphere and although it was a bit pricey it was well worth it, would definitely recommend it to someone looking to take their family out to be spoilt
The service was fantastic. The food was pretty good but could have used a little more flavour, still tasty though. It was a nice cosy setup too. I would go back.
Fantastic! Many visits. Lovely polite service. Smart setting. Meals are awesome. Indians beers nice change from usual fare. Best Indian in Albany.
Garlic naan is flavourful. We had 6 pieces of it. Lamb is well cooked. Butter chicken is creamy. Paneer cheese with spinach is nice too. I would say this is the nicest Indian food I had in Aussie.
Very nice food. Samosas were particularly delicious. Butter Chicken and Lamb Korma were quite nice. Delightful attentive and friendly service.
Always a pleasurable dining experience with good quality, authentic dishes and great friendly service. Also a wide variety of menu options available to suit everyone and they will give you the option of mild, medium or hot when taking your order.
I was overwhelmed by their portions!!
Tried the lamb briyani and saag paneer.
Generous with the lamb - good food for a great price.
Wait times can be an issue, but it's improving.
Extremely polite and friendly staff.
Definitely worth a visit when in Albany.
Absolutely love this place! My favourite place to dine in and takeaway in Albany. Everyone that works here is so polite and genuine, the food is amazing! Very authentic indian that i love!!! Everyone needs to try this!
Probably the best Indian restaurant in Albany. Was here once and back to here again and the food quality maintained. Fair price and nice ambiance.
Chicken dishes were all good and veggie dishes also nice. Only issue was the staff is very slow when check the bills, not one time but every times..
And not every staffs are friendly but some of them are really polite and attentive, and one or two of them are always with a not happy face..
Lovely dinner here on Saturday night, staff were very attentive and the food was absolutely delicious. Great selection of vegetarian dishes.
Beautifully crafted, flavoursome food. Had 5 people order 4 different meants and a vege option and were all thoroughly impressed. Very helpful, friendly service and comfortable dining experience all up.
On our 2nd night we dined at Tandoori Kitchen on a side street off the strip. This restaurant was very well appointed with an upmarket decor and feel about the place. The staff were warm and very accommodating as they allowed us to share a main and entree, which kept the price within our affordable means. The food was Lamb Korma was exquisite and was served with saffron basmati rice and a generous serve of pappadums. The bonus was that most Indian food is naturally gluten-free and the chef was able to cater for a very sensitive Coeliac stomach by making the dish not too spicy, but still very flavoursome. The atmosphere was cozy and was reminiscent of traditional Indian culture with a modern twist.
We had a meal for two as a takeaway and were really pleased with the quality of the food. The portions were very generous and the dishes really flavoursome. The food was packaged well and the price was very reasonable. Thank you
We had two vegetarian meals and a couple of wines. Very nice. Prompt service (never left waiting for drinks, meal orders ect). The meals came out quickly and were delicious. Good pricing. We would definitely go again. Sad this restaurant isn't in Perth!
I have been very fortunate to dine at many lovely Indian restaurants in both India and the Middle East as I have lived in that region of the world for several years. I must say that I was very sceptical when I was first invited to dinner at this restaurant when I was visiting Albany.
I was pleasantly surprised at the authenticity of the menu and impressed with both the quality and taste of the food, and the excellent service and attention to detail.
Beautifully spiced and correctly seasoned for each particular dish and the meat dishes were succulent and melt in the mouth tender.
I look forward to returning to this restaurant soon.
We ate here whilst in Albany for business and were not disappointed.
The service was very good from the moment we walked in. We ordered the banquet for five people which was served in nice time intervals which allowed everyone to finish what they were eating before the next course arrived. The curries were all delicious, and not too spicy.
The kulfi ice cream with pistachios was fantastic
I tried the Godfather beer from India.....really good and huge bottle !!!
Definitely worth a visit
In Albany visiting family and caught up for dinner here. Ordered a variety of dishes and all were delicious. Highly recommend the butter chicken.
Truely wonderful and a credit to them surprising jewl in Albany
Fabulous. We dined as a family group in late Feb 2015 and all agreed it was one of the best Indian meals we've ever eaten. Five stars.
Excellent food, excellent service. I had some dishes that I hadn't seen before in an Indian restaurant and was impressed with their quality. Their service was also top notch.
Yummy and exceptionally good food. Loved it!!!
Lovely. I ordered spicy (very hot) food and got spicy (very hot) food! Absolutely love this restaurant and I will recommend it to all my friends. Great place, good price (lunch special $ 15). Thank you!
Lovely. Had a great dinner here the food was lovely and staff very friendly would definitely go back when next in Albany.
Lovely food, lovely people!. Had a great experience here! House made papadams were delicious. other main dishes were also very authentic. staff were courteous, prompt and friendly! cannot wait to go back next time when I visit albany
Best Indian ever! I've been in a lot of Indian restaurants around the world and I must say I was very impressed. It is not a very over crowed restaurant which makes it a very comfortable and welcomed experience. The food is extremely authentic and overwhelmingly delicious. Do try any of the naan breads as they are house made and go beyond the theme of "home made is best" as it could not have been any better. We have been there three time already and all our dishes had the most tender meat in it : chicken tiki masala; butter chicken; mango chicken; lamb rogan ghosh.
They also make great drinks and greet you with on house popadums with, every time, different dips.
Take yourself out for a indulgence of flavours and experience the warm and welcoming service of there beautiful staff.
We were on holiday in Albany and read about this restaurant - it is one of the best Indian restaurants we have been to anywhere - food (the dhansaks especially) service (friendly staff and good timing) and drinks (especially "mocktails") were all great
Great authentic Indian food, great service, great value, will become a regular spot for me.
Nice service and nice food. Ate at Origin last night and we found it very enjoyable
Nice food good service
They have beer wine and soft drinks
Very nice place for a relaxed meal
Fantastic. The best Indian we have ever had. Too bad we are from Perth and won't be able to satisfy our Indian cravings now.
It was really busy, but they managed to fit us in and tend to us well and the food was excellent!
Food is awesum and service is great!!
Everybody should try it.
Terrific Food. This is the third time I have dined at the Origin in Albany, Food as always authentic classic dishes. Service was good not pushing you out the door as some resturants do. The wine and beer list is basic but good and wine isn't over priced. I will be back for sure.
regards
Mark
Spicy goodness. We ordered mild butter chicken, rogan josh, tandoori chicken, chicken briyani, onion bahji n naan. The food was delicious. We asked for a mild butter chicken n got it mild. We ordered a hot n spicy rogan josh, my goodness it was fiery hot. Luckily my partner loves it spicy. The briyani was a bit too soft and soggy. Would have prefered it less soggy. The bhaji was nice n crunchy n served with raita n lime chutney. Overall it was good.
We were very impressed with this place! Very good service and the food was fantastic! Curry's were a good size, not too creamy and very tasty. The only bad thing was the strawberry lassi, it had that awful fake strawberry topping in it and around the inside of the glass, much to sweet and missing the sour element a lassi should have. The mango lassi was good though! We'd definately go back.
A great little place for Indian. It's a bustling business and suitable for vegetarians as well.
Really great service, greated as soon as we arrived. Quick to take order, water on table. Mains came out in good time and offered desert afterwards.
Food was full of flavour, not as good as curry leaf but still worth a visit.
The service was excellent and the staff were extremely attentive and friendly. The food was amazing, very tasty and well balanced. Highly recommended.
